Airan Jo: Saki’s love interest and the only person who can control his heart. Also a rebel and a Cannon Sword user.
Occupation:
Rebel
Move set:
Special Moves:
Standard Attack - Homing Fire: Saki fires off three weak shots that arc towards the nearest foe
Upward Attack (R)– Manual Fire: Saki shoots several medium strength shots. When in the air, he aims them towards the ground, recoil thrusts him upwards
Downward Attack – Bounce Back: A slash attack that reflects back long range, physical attacks (like missiles and thrown items) and increases their strength. Enemies hit by the attack receive a trivial amount of damage.
Side Attack (R) – Long Thrust: Saki dashes straight forward with his blade pointed out in front of him.
Aerials:
Standard Aerial: A horizontal spinning slash
Upward Aerial: An arching upward slash
Downward Aerial: A medium strength shot is fired directly below Saki (no recoil like in the Up Special)
Side Aerial: Explosive discharge from Cannon Sword. Recoil forces Saki away from the attack
Smash Attacks:
Upward Smash: An explosive discharge right above Saki’s head
Downward Smash: Saki spins and creates a ring of fire around him
Side Smash: A charged energy bullet is shot
Grab: Saki grabs his foe with Ruffian energy from his left hand. His right hand is free to hit his target with his Cannon Sword.
Taunts:
Upward Taunt – Saki spins his Cannon Sword around his finger (old western style) and says “Good Morning”
Downward Taunt – Saki looks at his left hand as it glows green with Ruffian energy. He then clutches it and the glow fades.
Side Taunt – “I am of Earth” Saki says as he points his Cannon Sword straight forward
Final Smash:
Ruffian Form: Saki transforms into a giant Ruffian. His power now comes from his Ruffian energy, and he fires shots from his hands. He fires off five shots, aimed at the enemy of his choice, and then finishes with two giant slashes. The transformation lasts for three posts, or until all attacks are use, whichever comes first.
Weaknesses:
Saki is physically weak fighting wise. As a result all of his attacks use his Cannon Sword, and he has low defense. If he is angered in battle, he can get somewhat blinded by it.
Personality:
A defender at heart, Saki is very loyal to those who aid him or his cause. Very focused and determined, he does tend to have problems knowing when to rest from battle. He will often put himself behind others, so that he may protect them, even if it costs him dearly. An optimistic view is the one that he usually tries to keep, though when he feels that there isn’t one, he will fight until he can find one.

History:
In Japan, food has become scarce. A scientist created mutated animals that would reproduce fast enough to feed everyone, called Ruffians, but they escaped. The military force, known as the Armed Volunteers, moved in to contain the situation. Once they moved in, they chose not to protect the people of Japan, but to destroy anything that wasn’t already with them. In response, a group of rebels was created, and Saki joined it.
The rebels’ mission was two fold, destroy the Ruffians and drive out the Armed Volunteers. This started out bad, only to get worse. The Armed Volunteers raided the rebel base, and killed everyone. The only people that escaped were Saki, Airan, and a strange girl named Achi. Achi informed the others that they had to escape the city, so Saki led the way. When Airan and Achi found an aircraft that would allow them to escape, Saki was attacked by a large Ruffian that was being controlled by an Armed Volunteer girl. The beast was defeated, only to have the girl start using strange psychokinetic powers to attack Saki. Once Saki defeated the girl, a giant tidal wave of blood enveloped Tokyo and drowned him. From the spot where he had last been seen, a giant Ruffian monster appeared. This monster was Saki, but he had become unsure of what anything around him was. In hopes of getting closer to him, Airan moved the aircraft closer, only to have Saki destroy it. Before the ship was destroyed Achi teleported herself and Airan away.
A short time later, Saki started making his way towards an Armed Volunteer fleet, but before he could, a giant bullet from the sky was making its way towards him. He fired multiple shots at it before it exploded in mid air. From behind the explosion came Airan and Achi, standing on a piece of metal, held in the air by Achi’s powers. At first Saki ignored them, as they were too small to pose a threat, but he was quickly shot in the head by Airan and passed out.
When he awoke, he was on a beach next to Airan, but he was no longer a monster. His human form had partially returned, leaving him half Human and half Ruffian. He and Airan decided that it would be best if they found a safe place to rest and figure out exactly what happened. They made their way to a small abandoned town, where they rested for the night. In the morning, Saki awoke to find that Airan was missing. Unable to find her, he went out to get her, fearing she had been kidnapped. After making his way through a forest, he came upon a strange base. The base was full of Ruffians, but in the center, they were all bowing down to Achi, with Airan passed out at her feet. Achi told Saki that it was her blood that had given him powers, the same blood that flowed through the Ruffians. The only way he could fully control his powers was if someone opened his heart fully, that was why Achi had kept Airan safe. Outraged that Achi had been molding him into her weapon, Saki attacked her. In response, Achi created a false Earth to destroy the real Earth and give Saki and Airan a place to grow as weapons, but Saki defeated the false Earth by using the same Ruffian powers that Achi had given him.
After the battle, Saki and Airan went to a place where the two of them could live in peace and have a family. They hoped that they would be able to put behind them the events that happened.
Anything else?
I really wish I could have found a better picture for his Ruffian Form, but there just isn’t a good one anywhere in the game.971
