The Beel's jaw unhinged as it's head snapped back. Due to the extreme force and momentum, not only did the spine that held the Beel to the ground break and snap, but also the Beel's head went sailing through the air, headed for the Castle's window. @succubus@ The succubus' made a quick gasping noise before flying away, while Dracula however, just stood there. Dracula gazed at the monster's head as it came sailing toward him, and then, crashing through the window. The glass shattered, cutting the man, but he did not flinch. Instead, he simply lifted his hand and backhanded the creature, emotionlessly, and sent it flying off into another location of the room, landing on the carpet, and then fading away into darkness. "I am tired of this tedium." The man said as he lifted his cloak over his body. "Please excuse me ladys, I'll be joining you later. You may start without me." @succubus@ The succubus' nodded while holding eachother's hands in fear from the destruction of the once sexual peaceful room. "Yes, Lord Dracula." Dracula slowly walked out of the room, preparing every single force within his castle and awaiting his 'guests'.

Shanoa looked on as the experienced knight slew the giant head-ed creature, it's head sent flying straight into a window high up in Dracula's castle. Shanoa silently wished it was her that had sent the head as a warning. But she was as content as an emotionless vessel could be. Dracula already knew she was coming, he could feel his gaze upon her as her glyphs burned in yearning for the source of their power. Shanoa knew he would try to tempt her again, Dracula feared her more than any Belmont- this she knew. Only she could wield Dracula's own power against him, and he feared this. Pride and arrogance shrouded him into underestimating her- even taunting her and chastising her before he fought. But Shanoa had dealt the final blow that day, and Dracula was forced to suffer the same pain that he himself served to his enemies. That's why he was sending wave after wave of monsters against them. She knew this. Dracula feared facing her again, even if the one thing that could destroy him had a price...but did he know? Shanoa had crossed over with one promise- no one would die for using Dominus but the one its fury was dealt to. If only it had been that way before, with Albus... Shanoa silently thanked the older knight who she was fighting alongside now for his help. Shanoa knew they would not have made it as far as they had otherwise. Even now, she knew that she would need his aid until they reached the highest room in the center of the castle- the throne room of Dracula.

The minotaurs stomped their feet into the ground. These creatures were far more intelligent than the average beast, and far more deadly. They howled ferociously, still trying to give off a warning to the intruders. Four of the Minotaurs stood their ground in front of the castle, the fifth one took a few steps forward, stabbing the hilt of its axe in the ground. Each creature stood nearly fifteen feet tall, all very bulky, and all very qualified to give the heroes a run for their money. Death floated above the battlefield. From far above, he seemed to whisper into the minds off all the creatues, "Show no mercy, destroy the man...take the woman hostage." He then forced his palm through the air, downward at the minotaur. The fifth minotaur, seemingly the leader of the pack, was encased in a shining golden film, and he grew at least 2 feet taller. It roared before roaring loudly and thrusting its axe forward, ordering the other Minotaurs to attack. The 4 other Minotaurs then rushed in with their axes in hand, and their horns down.

Arthur's eyes narrowed as the monsters charged, and he rushed towards them, building up speed until he jumped, then jumped again, landing on the back of the unfortunate minotaur that led the charge, stabbing it in the back of the neck, before he grabbed its axe in both hands, and threw it at the second, charging past it as the axe lodged itself in the monster's skull, leaping onto the third's chest and, as it roared, pulling one of his glowing blue bottles from his waist, and pouring its flaming contents down its throat, leaping from its now burning body to the fourth "normal" minotaur, stabbing his sword through its throat, and "riding" it back until it fell to the ground with an echoing boom. Then, silently, he pulled his sword free, and simply glared at the final minotaur, as if to say "You're next."

Having had a moment to rest, Shanoa joined the fight once more. Shanoa charged the the giant minotaur, proving him to attack. Shanoa jumped up and onto the minotaurs arm, knives appearing in each hand before she jammed them into the creatures eyes. Not one to leave room for doubt, she jumped into the air as it screamed out in pain. She twisting her body in the air, summoning a lance very similar to the ones Arthur used, and brought it down straight into the creatures back, pinning it to the ground as she jumped off. When she landed however, Shanoa stumbled- her body would not be able to go on much longer without some sort of aid. Hesitant, Shanoa did the one thing she could think of. Wincing, she activated a glyph on her back- a soothing green light covered her body as the glyph Refectio went to work, restoring her magic reserves. Plants around her died, its mana being drained to fuel the glyph and aid her. She groaned as her smaller cuts and injuries closed up. It was not much, but the glyph would provide a boost until she could really take the time to rest.

All monsters were defeated. Zombies seemed to have stopped rising out of the ground, and finished off monster bodies seemed to have scattered the entirety of the scene. Nothing more could be heard than an echo of the wind blowing through. After a few moments of silence, the monster bodies seemed to have all dissapeared, and a very distorted and dicrepit voice could be heard. "Weary travelers...I'm afraid your journey ends with Death..." The robed figure appeared out of the shadows just barely, right behind Arthur. He rose his Scythe and tried to swipe at the man but failed. The creature shook his head and the various bones in its body made a cracking noise. After failing to attack the agile man, Death floated above the two, then lowered himself in front of him. His feet touched the floor for the first time, and muttered the words, "There is only a matter of time before you have to come with me...let's finish this now." And upon muttering those words, he tossed his tattered robe aside and let it blow into the wind, revealing his skeletal body. A cold stare met with both Arthur and Shanoa, the creature standing there with its scythe, rising it high. "If you wish for Death...here I am."

After avoiding the scythe, Arthur turned, and tried to raise his sword... only to have it slip from his grasp. As strong as the man's will was... his body could only take so much... And it had finally reached its limit. The man took a weak step forwards, reaching back for another weapon... And collapsed to the ground.

"Arthur, no!" Shanoa ran over to the passed out knight, fearing that he had died. Confirming that he still drew breath, Shanoa stood to face Death, a hint of resolve in her eyes. "Do you think I will not be able to defeat you again, Death?" Shanoa moved away from Arthur. "The only death today will be your Masters!"

The creature stood still with its scythe risen high, "You have no hopes of defeating me mortal...I will never be ridden of this world, my duties are essential. A world without Death is a world without fear..." His bones cracked as his head rolled from one side to the other, and then back in place. "After a while, life must be reaped...even Lord Dracula...his time will come. But his time is not now...neither is yours." Death rushed forward, seemingly dissapeared, then reappeared in front of Shanoa. He lifted his Scythe high and swung it at the girl. "For now, you will come with me...!"

Shanoa flipped back and away from the scythe, releasing two balls of light that spiraled around her and outwards. "I won't come without a fight, Death!"

Death dissapeared into darkness and reappeared as the balls went flying on by. "Hmph, neither will I." His scythe glowed as he scraped it across the ground in a heavy strike and a couple of undead hands came out of the ground to grab Shanoa by the leg and weaken her.

Shanoa had barely noticed the hands reaching up, and managed to charge forward away from the hands and towards Death, an large axe appearing in her hands. The axe began to glow as she neared Death, and as soon as she was within range- she swung, a crescent of blinding white light hitting the friend and servant of Dracula.

Death was hit across the face with that axe, positioning it backwards. He put his hands on his head and slowly positioned it forward again, making a cracking sound as it turned back into place. Then stared her directly into the eyes. "Enough." He sharply slashed his scythe at Shanoa's body.

Shanoa attempted to backdash away from the Death's strike, but it was almost to late. Shanoa winced and stumbled to her knees as she felt a fine cut on her stomach begin to bleed. Shanoa continued to wince as a spell seemed to take effect. Shanoa groaned but did her best to stand again, albeit not without struggle. Shanoa refused to give in, not after all that's happened.1.9.0.7

"Hmph, I admit, the will within mortals has always been admirable." he rose more hands out of the ground that grabbed Shanoa's arms and legs, holding her in place. Death's head cocked to the side, "But why is it you struggle? Your fate is inevitable."
