[dice=6] Still a little weak, Shanoa managed to just roll out of the way of the Manticore's charge. She moves towards a wall, wishing that her magic would come back faster in it's time of need.[rand=5563531658817104266142664463799869984519328950074200500961908613]

[dice=6] With practiced ease, the monster slayer dodged out of the Manticore's path, whipping Vampire Slayer towards one of its back legs. If he caught it... it was going to start having a very bad day. [dice=6][rand=94901947217969554083410670525352696777759226363485389681306551622]

[dice=6] The Manticore let out a roar as the whip snapped at it, then wrapped around it's leg. It tried to shake itself free of the whip, but failed.[rand=3650704627462384399224922124534924732956863084669972875840072088]

Rushing forward while the monster paused, Simon leaped onto its back, like riding a horse. A winged, scorpion-tailed, lion-headed horse. He freed his whip with a practiced flick of his whip, and wrapped it around the upper jaw of the monster, pulling it back far enough the Manticore would be unable to close its mouth... As he poured a bottle of faintly glowing water down its throat, the bottle bearing a cross sigil. That task completed, he freed its head, and leaped off, landing near Shanoa.

Apparently the Belmonts stood up to the stories about them. However, what Shanoa thought Simon was doing was impractical despite it's upcoming effectiveness. She was, however, grateful by the fact that now she felt as if her strength was almost completely returned.

The Manticore spit up flames and roared as it ran around recklessly. It crashed here and there within the dungeon, but eventually crashed into a wall...causing it to break and fall down on top of it. [dice=6] (Both Shanoa and Simon roll against this to avoid the rumble crashing on them as well.)[rand=43779183575386367582494618889504314624411703385733415266628330895]

[dice=6] Shonoa tried to dive away as the wall next to her came crashing down, but just couldn't get away in time a large stone hit her leg and pinned her on the ground, even as more fell around her. Instinct kicked in, and the glyphs lit up in act to protect her from further harm. "Shield!" A blue shield formed over her just as a large stone would have crushed her, breaking and falling harmlessly around her.[rand=4892769980344686721920529295970503487127484437002723616571420458832]

[dice=6] Simon's whip lashed out as the rubble fell, turning the falling stones to powder as he places his whip back on his waist. "Hmph."[rand=9228468227088562194352199788697275243025449289848204989589581975]

When the rubble had settled, Shanoa took to the task of freeing her leg from underneath the rock. She wouldn't be able to blast the rock off without risking further injury. The same went for using her mace glyph to smash the stone, she would only break her leg. And using a transformation glyph would take too much energy just to free herself. She was left with only one option. "I am stuck. Can you please help me move this stone off my leg?"

With a nod, the Belmont drew his whip, and struck, the power of his weapon turning the large stone to dust. That task done, he then offered Shanoa a hand up.

"Thank you, Simon," Shanoa told him as she took his hand and pulled herself up. "We should leave these dungeons, there will be more enemies on the way." Without saying another word, she started to head towards what she though would be the exit from the dungeon, and what she believed to lead towards the clock tower.
