@professor@ "Stop it you! Quit fidgeting!" A man in a lab coat, and a large 'turban', walked along the large traffic of humanoid animals. The professor's...partner would probably get along with these abnormal miscreants if he wasn't attached to him. That was why he had to hide the monkey in a turban.
"Hmm...now, what to pick up?" looking over a small notebook, he crossed over an item on a list. "Get a batch of Super Mushrooms. Check! Pick up some milk and butter. Check! Obtain Living Alloy Liquid..."
Tapping the pen on his cheek, the professor hummed. To get that, he'd have to break into the Corneria Science Center, which is part of the Corneria Military. How to get in? "Hmmm..."

 Well this wasn't exactly proof that this could be "another dimention" to Blaze, seeing as how everyone here is an anthro just like the people in her realm. However, she could still sense a Sol Emerald close by regardless of what world she thinks she's in. The princess slowly looked around the city, trying to find the emerald she senses. 'Come on, it's near, I know it is...' Thought the flustered girl. |

Corneria Science Center, the city's main resource of any scientific study, and the department to research anything unknown. Inside this glass-structured facility, its staff now is in the study of a strange yet interesting find. A powerful item that contained energy beyond scale.
A yellow diamond contained in a glass dome, surrounded by mechanical arms, each wielding different strange instruments that clearly is meant for scanning and dissecting. Scientists are still puzzled to what this jewel was, but their study so far showed that this 'diamond' is actually an emerald. Strange it contained properties of an emerald, yet it's yellow.
Also, they found out that it nearly have identical energy readings as a Chaos Emerald. Yes, none has ever seen a Chaos Emerald, outside of Sonic's battles, but Cornerian scientists were able to record Sonic's battles, curious to the emeralds Sonic only can summon. And with those recordings, also recorded the the energy wavelengths emitted by Super Sonic.
@professor@ But outside, a certain man in a turban wasn't interested in an emerald...yet. With data of the building that was given by his employee, the professor plotted brilliant strategies to infiltrate through the building, stealthy.
But first he had to pay his taxi driver. "I still say you took long ways, you...*grumble*"

Ironically for the doc he wasn't the only one "shopping" around the lab, as the graceful lavender cat jumped from building to building only to find herself before the lab. 'It must be in here...' She thought once again, then proceeded inside the lab. Blaze then continued to search out for the emerald, like a hunting dog sniffing for her prized bone. |

 "Mwahahahahha!!" From the cement gate, the wall pulsed like something hammered it from the other side. Silent it now was, except for a couple of military guards rushing out the building. They knew what was waiting behind the wall, and the guards prepared their advance laser rifles. Suddenly, a piece of a wall dropped...in a shape of a gingerbread man. Entering through the cookie cut-out hole was a mech that looked like a toy robot you get for Christmas. On top of the head, in a glass dome, was the professor...without the turban, much to the grafted monkey's relief. The guards wasted no time to fire their weapons, but alas, for such a ridicules-looking robot, the lasers bounced off its hide. "Stand asiiiiiide, or feel my highly advanced wrath!" pushing down a lever... The mech aimed its arm at the guards before a little ray gun popped out of its wrist. For such a tiny thing that looked like a space rocket from the 50s, it fired just as well as a machine gun. And the vile professor cackled as his foes felt the agony of the rapid blasts. "Mwahahaha! Mwahahahah! MWAHAHAHAHA!!" Stop...the robot did, as the roars from the lasers spread outside the area, into low rumbling hums. The guards...shielding themselves with their arms seemed unharmed, much to their confusion. Did the intruder miss, after all that firepower? No! They now seen the aftermath when they prepped their weapons...which were now...BACON!!! Yes, the laser was a bacon gun...or mostly a balanced-breakfast gun. The trees, the garbage bins; they were all either bacon, eggs, or hash browns. "Part of the professor's nutritious breakfast." boasted the professor as his mech walked past the seriously baffled guards. |

"Hm?" Said Blaze, aloud, as she turned in the direction of the attacks. But soon dismissed it as "not important" on her list of things to see and do...till her senses suddenly got stronger as she looked in that direction. With a deep sigh to herself, the princess had no choice. "..." So she silently walked down the hallway, simply hoping it wasn't anything too dangerous like Nega's bigger robots. |

But further down the hallway, Blaze would see guards running down from an intersection, all carrying laser rifles... ...but only to be chased away by a horde of opposing laser blasts. A couple of guards would get hit and engulfed in light. And in the end, they would fall to the ground as either home fries or biskets. Walking over the 'food' Blaze would see a tall 'toy robot' marching down with heavy steps. A man with a monkey grafted on his head would be in the glass dome on the head. "Nooowww, to find my prize." "Ekk ook!" "Yes, yes, I'll turn the next guards into banana pancakes. Stop badgering meeeee!" The other arm of the robot transformed into a large cookie-cutter before slamming it through the ceiling. The robot unleashed rocket thrust from its feet, lifting into the Christmas-tree shaped hole on the ceiling. |

"..." This entire situation just left the cat speechless, soldiers suddenly turning into food, a giant robot that just transformed into a cookie cutter, an odd ball loon with a chimp merged on his head. It was painfully obvious that this wasn't the Sol OR Chaos Dimension...this is hell. 'My intuition demands that I not get involved in this madness...' Easier said then done, but Blaze started to sneak around the crazy situation. Hoping she doesn't get caught. |

Perhaps not by the wacked-out lunatic, but Blaze would see a group of guards storming down the hall she was in. Seeing the mess around her, and that she was the only on there, "Freeze!!!" They immediately aimed their weapons at the princess. Two stories high, later, the giant toy robot soared out of a hole, finding itself in a large room full of technological wonder. The professor saw numbers of instruments clearly used for studying. But his eyes spotted his target... ...a rotating case hanging from the ceiling, holding small canisters of various strange chemicals. |

"!" Quite a blunderous moment for the princess of Sol, she facepalmed at the situation turning sour. "Oh, you must be joking..." She said, aloud. She figured that it would take too long to explain the situation to them. Besides, this being a lab they probably don't want to give away such a valuble gem, assuming they KNEW about it that is. Blaze decided...to run up to the guards and attempt to flip over them, then make a break for a fast run around the lab. But as fast as she was, she was still in range for the guards. "Halt!!!" while a couple crouched down and a few aimed their rifles over their heads, all the guards fired at the suspicious cat.

@professor@ "Ah haaaa!" Meanwhile, the professor leaned out of the opened cockpit, taking a certain canister from the shelf. "With this, I can make an army of never-ending numbers."
After he stuffed it in his pockets and sat back down, his computer console beeped. "Grrr! Did you mess with the computers again?" he asked the chimp. "I told you my Meal-Dish Mech has no radio!!"
"Ekk ook!"
"Fiiiiiine, I'll check before I scold you." sitting back down, the professor found that his readings were detecting a sheer power source. "What's this?" Following the source, he grinned at where it came from...
...a yellow gem inside a glass dome. "Oooooo!"
The mech's arm smashed through the glass, grabbing the gem. It then carried it over to its head for Prof. Monkey-for-a-Head to grab it. "I can defiantly make use for this. Maybe to power my TV remotes or something," [rand=8924763928634086063627242606957821138096839627713344148725951954]

[dice=6] "GAH!" The shots were successful, and Blaze suddenly had a burning sensation on her back, causing her to lose balance in the air and hitting the floor hard. "No..." The princess, sat up and looked around the soldiers. 'This can't be good...?' Then she looked above the guards, only to find part of a sprinkler system. Then the light bulb went off in the sneaky kitten's head. She quickly formed a small fireball in her hand, then flicked it up at the system. The flame caused an alarm to go off and the water raining down the area like a monsoon. [dice=6] (water) [dice=6] (Blaze dodging the water) She didn't want to get wet, but she couldn't dodge in time. Bah! These are Cornerian solders. Even though they're not much against such forces, like Andross, and for good reason, a little water doesn't bother them. They're trained to handle severe weather. So, ignoring the water, the solders again fired at the cat.

How a skilled princess could be taken out by foot soldiers was beyond her. "...!" Then she turned her head in a certain direction, the gem on her head gave off a very soft shimmer. 'It's moving?!' "Hands above your head, now!!" the soldiers barked, surrounding Blaze aiming their weapons at her.
@professor@ Meanwhile, the wacky professor was having a ball walking down the front, cackling at how the guards' blasts bounced off the mech's armor, and his mech turning them into various forms of breakfast. "Ohhhh! It's such a wonderious stress relief. I wonder why I don't do this often?"
Suddenly, poking out of the grass was a large turret that quickly launched a large blast.
