Toad Town Floatport: Low low prices!

"Duuuuh....one...two...erm...three...."

Tetra was almost up to the front desk, but first, there was this large and dopey guy trying to count his giant jar of coins on the counter. Her temper was hanging on a string from exploding. Kill me now...

[Alien-Child]

As the two walked down the street, Ayumi look side to side with a pout, "Man, we should have got a guide book or something, I can't tell what's a store and everything with these signs!" Ayumi said pointing to a building with a Fire Flower billboard.

[AnT]

A fierce gust of wind blew by the town, forcing its populace to stay their ground, preventing from flying off. The wind twirled around in the center of the town, right in front of the path that leads to Peach's castle. The tornado became narrow and thin before it explode, blowing papers about, and making the Mushroomers hold onto something.


The cause of the wind, Sonic the Hedgehog, stood there, tapping his feet and looking around the land that suddenly appeared before him. When you're as fast as Sonic, it's almost like you're running blindly. Always leading to a random direction without tracing his steps, but Sonic prefers it that way. He always liked to challenge himself, make his life much more ... exciting.

But of all the places, Sonic just had to find himself ... here.

"Oh boy ... Jumpman-zone."

It was hard to tell if he and Mario were friends. They had a bit of a ... friendly rivalry, and the people of the Mushroom Kingdom knew that. In fact, Sonic was well known around here because of that, as the Mushroomers gathered around him like he was as much a celebrity as Mario. Some snapped pictures of him, some like the younger folk cheered at him, a couple, the older folk, threw insults at him; probably because they're the loyal Mario fans.

But Sonic shrugged it all, but flashed a V-sign as he walked towards a snack bar. Running always made him hungry.

"Yo!" he greeted to the Snack-Mushroomer behind the bar. Jumping to a seat, Sonic dropped his elbow on the bar while holding up two finger. "Two doggies with the works, pal!"

"Uh, you got it, buddy." The old Mushroomer answered, flustered a little, before he turned back to the cooking stand.

Even though its been two seconds, the wait was killing Sonic. His patience was abnormally short; Sonic would leave after two minutes or less. But alas, a good chili dog always takes time, no matter how much Sonic hates to admit it. Luckily, the stand had a TV on the ceiling to occupy his nano-patience.

Not much surprises Sonic, but today was an exception. The news was on, and the reporter was a familiar red haired human...from HIS world. And behind her was a cityscape with explosions erupting everywhere in the city. He knew from anywhere what that city was.


Station Square.


"No way..." A year ago, only a couple of locations appeared to This World. Station Square was not one of them. And only himself, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, and Silver came to this place, at least to his knowledge. If Station Square was here, that means the rest of his friends were here too.

And his enemies.

But that can't be of his concern right now. Station Square was under attack by unknowns; and looking at the close up of the attackers, he knew well these robots were not of Eggman's, like the broadcast thinks. His homecity was in trouble...

"...as usual." he smirked. "Better make that to-go, dude." Grabbing the bag of chili-dogs, Sonic leaped out of the seat, ignoring the citizens cries of excitement. Sonic pulled out a map and studied it. While he never used the thing, he knew to keep it handy in case of emergencies like this. It was never there before, but Station Square was right on the map; on the other side of the land from Mushroom Kingdom.

"Heh! Easy jog!" With two fingers, Sonic saluted to the screaming citizens, and grinned. He felt like he was one of those pop singers before a crowd of screaming fan-girls...which is something he goes through almost daily anyways.

"See ya!" And Sonic blasted off, leaving an explosion of wind with the crowd. The Blue Blur blazed across the lake, next to the castle, disappearing into the landscape.

[Native One]

As Link was coming closer to the town, he and Ayumi would be able to hear the cries and cheers and shouting from many mushroom people a few ways up.

"Huh... Wonder what's going-" But before he could even finish his sentence, he felt a giant burst of wind on his face, making him fly back a couple feet. He used his arms to cover his face from any flying debry that might have been sturred up from the ground.

He turne around to see where the force of wind was coming from, but he couldn't see anything as it was already gone. Coming to the only conclusion he could think of, "Was that Sonic? What was he doing here in the Mushroom Kingdom?"

[Alien-Child]

But Ayumi couldn't answer Link right away, as the wind blew up her skirt as she was trying to hold it down. "Why did I had to wear this?" She snarled, and she turn around to see a Toad blushing red.

"YOU PERVERT!" Ayumi screamed as she kicked the Toad so high with a Spirit Kick.9

"Well, apparently, something happened that made me glad I always wear pants." The so-called pirate queen approached her two 'crew', smirking at their attempts to fight the wind. "Thanks for the boots, by the way, Link."

Yes, she was wearing Link's iron boots that she ... borrowed from him.

[Native One]

Link's veins popped out on his forehead, but he quickly set his mind to something else.

"Hey, I just realized." He said to the two females, "I'm getting hungry." He looked around the area that the three were in, and he saw the snack bar that Sonic had just been at. "You don't mind if we grab a bite to eat, do you?" He asked his 'captain', "I haven't had a bite to eat since before I went to sea on your ship."

[Alien-Child]

"Yeah, I'm hungry too..." Ayumi added, "But if their meals have just mushrooms, than I take it back!"

[AnT]

"Oh fine, if you dorks can't go without food for a day..." Tetra shoved the iron boots to Link. "Come on!" She walked over to the said snack bar.

[Native One]

Link took the boots in his hands and said, "Sweet! Thanks Tet-"

But the boots came down on his hands on the ground. Hard.

"EEEEYAAAHHH!" He cried out in pain. He attempted to lift the boots from off of his hands, but he was barely able to move them underneith them.

He grunted in pain, "They weren't t-this heavy when I was w-wearing them before!"

[Alien-Child]

"Um...why do you want to wear something like that?" Ayumi asked, but shrugged it off, "Whatever, let's go!" She said as she went towards the bar.

[AnT]

Standing before the stand, Tetra awkwardly looked at the menu above. She heard about these foods ... but she still wasn't quite familiar with them. She never even tried them, in fact. "Uh ... I'll have the ... ham ... bug ...er..."

Arching a brown, the mushroom guy tapped the counter. "Kid, what are you, from the medieval times or something?"

"YES!" she roared, spooking the man behind the bar.

"Okay okay! I didn't know you were from Hyrule or something. I didn't notice the ears."

Her angry feature melted to a blank look, as if the name just helped it. The world ranged her head over and over again. "...Hyrule..."

She remembered ... making a promise to Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule ... a promise that she would find a new land to call Hyrule. She said she would, and she was ... but that was her other life ... the real Tetra's life. There's no point continuing that mission since there's already a Hyrule.

"...The real Tetra's..." Frowning, tightly, Tetra planted herself on a seat. She just hate thinking about that fact about This World. It just made her feel like she's fake. "Just...give me that, and some water."

[Alien-Child]

"OI'll have a cheery cheesecake!" Ayumi shouted to the waited, as she stood by a table with a Toad in a cloak over his face. "Ok, so you saying you got something that can help me?"

"Yes...you said you fight the dead...no?" The Toad hissed as he went into his cloak and pulled out a bag of water, "This should help!"


"That's nothing but tap-water!"

"No, this is 'Pure Water'! It can sting a ghost like it was a punch to the gut!"


"Yeah, sure!" Ayumi said, rolling her eyes.

"I'll give it to you half-price!"


"SOLD!"
After the exchange, Ayumi towards her companions while looking at the bag.. "I paid 7 Smash smash coins for this?! I could have got it for free from the lake!"

[Native One]

Link finally managed to get the boots off of his hands, and now they were wrapped in bandages.

"Thanks for the help, guys." He said to he friends in a sarcastic tone. He looked over the menu. "Ham... burger...?" Link said a loud.

"Yep." The Toad said, "What, you never ahd one before?"

"Yeah. I'm from Hyrule, too." Link told the Toad.

"Ah, I see. Well, you want one?"

"Yeah, sure, and some water, too, please." Link said, not forgeting his manners.

The Toad nodded and made one. Link took it and began eating. Soon, he was crying tears of joy, "Wow... This thing's awesome..."

The pirate queen, on the other hand, wasn't as open as Link as she calmly chewed her burger. "Eh...it's not bad."
