There was no response from the other end for a long moment, until a loud, gruff, and rather menacing voice answered.
"What is it, Junior? I'm a little busy. A Goomba knocked a Fire Flower into the Bob-ombs' barracks!"

 While still struggling, Jay looked over at Junior, then shuddered at the gruff voice. 'Ok...that's either a big scary guy or Junior here has a pet dragon...' Either way, Jay kept struggling, she even bit the rope a few times, but bugged out when she gagged on it. "ACK! Goo's in my mouth!" She coughed a few times. "What's this stuff made of anyway..." |

"... Well, I appreciate the effort, Junior." That gruff voice answered. "And she's bound to be valuable to SOMEbody in This World so... good job. I'll be there in a few minutes."
Then the communicator clicked off.

Even though Jay was on the losing side of this situation, she couldn't help but blush at Junior and smile. 'So cute...he's just...!' Then back to reality once again with a glare. "It's Jay, and why're you trying to kidnap me? What help could I possibly be to you guys?! I'm just a teenage girl." |

As promised, it would be several minutes before what sounded like a helicopter was coming towards them, and another minute before the source became visible. It was... well, it looked like a BIG cup, with a clown face drawn on the front in a perpetual smile, and a propeller attached to the underside. And seated in this comedic vehicle...  Was the biggest, spikeyest turtle on the planet... Bowser. King of the Koopas. |

Jay stopped struggling after hearing the helicopter blades and looked up to see the fearsome Koopa King fly over, and her eyes went wide. 'He's...he's HUGE!' More sweat started to form on Jay's face, she was even shaking a bit. The poor girl was trembling in fear. "T.That's your dad?" It looks like Jay won't be seeing that castle anytime soon. |

Soon, the Clown Car was hovering low enough to the ground to allow Bowser to hop down out of it, where he loomed over Junior, and the girl he'd caught. "Ok, Junior, let's see what you've got here." The Koopa King rumbled, stepping over, and examining Jay, letting out a smokey snort. He didn't look any smaller up close. |
