Sami didn't expect this powerful counter attack, when she was slung around in the air she felt like she was flying. Which was cut short when she met the wall. "Gah!" She gasped while sliding down on the ground. "Ngh..." She felt her side, but noticed Bass firing at Roll. "Leave her alone..." She mumbled.

Being at the sight of his mighty weapon, Roll's fear made her drop the Shining Laser capsule. "H-How do you know Rock? How come I never met you before?"

Bass paused, trying to figure out IF he'd ever seen this girl before, but in his entire memory, he'd never met anyone looking like her...

Although she did kinda look like the blueberry's sister.

Could Light've given her some kinda upgrade? ... No, then she'd recognize him.

"I should be asking YOU that, meatbag! I've never seen you with the blueberry before, so how the heck're you on a first name basis with the twerp?"

As Sami looked up at Bass from the ground, she thought he was a titan from where she was standing. But she decided to take her chance. The girl jumped up and kneed at Bass' head. "Don't you DARE forget me!" She cried out while slamming her kneecap at the Robot Master.

But at the same time, the robot monkey, Data, leaped out of nowhere to clamp on Bass's face and claw him. "KEE KEEE!!!"

"DATA!!" But no matter, for Roll dived away while those two advanced on Bass. She wanted to use the Shining Laser, but it'll destroy the ship with them with it...and her Grandpa was probably in his room.

Unfortunately for both of Bass' attackers, Bass' reflexes were tuned perfectly for a war machine. He demonstrated this to great effectiveness by catching Data in midair, and throwing him at SAMI'S face, even as he stepped out of the way of her knee attack.

Feeling that those two were dealt with, he then made a grab for Roll as she dashed for the door.

Thankfully Sami saw Data coming just in side to side step him, then proceeded to run after Bass to stop him with a punch. "Enough! Fight me for a change!" She called out after him.

With a malicious grin, Bass, seeing Sami coming, moved the girl in his grip into the path of the oncoming punch. If Sami didn't stop, she'd be hurting the person she was trying to help.

Unfortunately, this meant Roll, either way, was face to face with the black robot.

"Sorry, girly, but I'm not done with this one yet. And I've got more reason to kill her than you." With that, the teen(-looking) robot glared at Roll, right in the eyes.

Sami gasped when Bass put Roll in the path of the punch, she couldn't stop, but she slowed the impact enough so that it wasn't as powerful as her normal punches. But still her knuckles impacted with Roll's back, causing Sami to step back in shock. "...I'm sorry." She put her head down and then back up glaring at Bass. "Damn coward!" Roll cringed against the pain on her back. Course the pain she felt, and fear she had over the dangerous robot made her feel dizzy. She couldn't figure out what to do, except feel her end. It wasn't that tears came down from her eyes because she was going to die, it was because she'll never save Rock, or even see him again.

"R-Roll....Roll Caskett, and..."

The monkey just got up from the impact of the windshield. He would've gone back to save Roll, but then...he saw some kind of flaming comet hurtling straight for them.

"KEEEE!!!!!!"


With all the will she could muster, she glanced back to see what was wrong with Data. She too saw that comet. "AND THERE'S A COMET HEADING FOR...!!"

Bass just blinked as she said her name, finding it odd that there was apparently a HUMAN named Roll, too.

Seemed he has bad luck with any Roll he met.

Then she mentioned the comet.

"Say WHAT!? Treble! Confirm!"

From the deck, Treble was staring up at the incoming comet, his robotic ears laying flat against his head, letting out a mechanical whine.

"... Figures."

[Mage]

"Comet?!" She looked outside of the ship, but also took this small and brief window of opportunity to save Roll one last time. Sami knew it might harm them both, but she ran to the side facing both of them, then did a mad dash at Bass and Roll doing a full body tackle. "Forgive me! Argh!!!"

Bass was narrowly caught off guard by the tackle, and rolled backwards with the movement, tossing BOTH females out the door into the wall behind him. Fortunately, for Roll at least, Sami would be between her and the wall.

Roll was thankful that she was free from Bass' grip, but she was tackled by the solider. But she quickly gathered herself and stopped them from crashing on the wall.

Roll then took the comet in consideration. It was coming right for them, but Sami thankfully pushed them right in the living room where the side door was.

Roll grabbed Sami and jumped through the door, tumbling down the cityscape.


And Data skippered after them.



Though if anyone were to look closely, they would find that this comet wasn't a comet at all. But in fact, it was a house with rockets on the bottom corners.
