Serenus Forest: Old friend, new mission

Arthur was quit for a moment, then spokee, rather quietly.

"Of course... there shalt be evil in all places. I was sent here by a demon, but... could I hath been brought here to fight the evil that resideth here?"

With a nod, the night rested his hand on his sword.

"I shall help in yonder wolf's quest, until I shalt find a way to return to my homeland."

[Mage]

"I had a feeling you two weren't from around here, but I'm glad you aren't evil in any way." He smiled, of course they weren't evil. Arthur was an Honorable knight with a will to battle the forces of evil, while Ammy was a goddess for Pete's sake.

After thinking a while, Ike realized that this might make his mission in hiding obsolete. The portals were opening everywhere in the public eye, now its almost impossible to hide his mission. With a sigh, he turned to Ranulf for advice. "So, what now?"

"Well for now, your mission from Princess Elincia has been called off. Theres something greater at hand right now." Ranulf had to bring up more important things, its about a certain uprising...

Ammy, no longer being talked to, found it might be a perfect opportunity to catch a couple of winks, and curled up for a small nap. At least, until someone talked to her again...well, at least laying down after all that traveling was nice.

Arthur was also silent. He wasn't sure what he would need to do in order to help these two, or the wolf, but he would do it without hesitation.

[Mage]

"Something greater?" The mercenary asked his old friend, with worry behind his words.

The Laguz replied: "You see an army has just attacked Gallia."

"What?! Is it Subspace?!" He yelled with a shocked look.

"Settle down Ike, no its not Subspace...we should be thankful for it too." He told his friend.

With a sigh of relief, Ike asked once more. "Then who is it?"

"Well Its the Pig-Mask army, lead by Porky. Ruler of New Pork City."

Ike knew about the city, he had fought there a few times during the tournament. He didn't know the ruler of the place was hostile though. "Porky huh? Not very intimidating compared to Tabuu..."

With a snicker, Ranulf agreed with a nod. "Ha ha, I guess you got a point there." Then he got serious again. "But don't let the names or looks fool you Ike, they're surprisingly dangerous."

Ammy payed some attention to the conversation the others were having as she lay there. So there was an evil army known as Pig-Masks, trying to take over...not on Ammy's watch.

Arthur shared Amaterasu's sentiment. The idea of a dictator rising up and trying to force his rule on others NEVER sat well with the knight, whether they be human or otherwise.

If Ike and Ranulf asked, they would have his blade at their side.

[Mage]

"...So what now?" He asked Ranulf.

"Well first we leave for Smash city, thats where the enemy has attacked...but even between you and me, we may have a hard time taking on an army..." He told Ike, but then his attention flowed to the two newcomers. Arthur the knight, and Ammy the goddess. He smiled at those two, with they're help this would be simple! Thought the cat man.

Ike had the very same thought when he remembered Arthur and Ammy. "Its a good idea Ranulf...but its solely up to them."

"Oh, I know. We can't force you two to fight, but I believe your help would be greatly needed. It is an army and we are shorthanded." He told them both.

"Of course, Ammy's up to it!" issun was bouncing up and down on her nose while Ammy stood up. "She's faced a whole legion of demons, by herself! No army of porkers can stop Furball!"

[Vize Viper]

"It doth seem I and thou hath much in common, Lady Amaterasu. I too hath fought many demons, and I also shall assist in this endeavor." Arthur then drew his sword, and held it out in both hands towards Ike and Ranulf as he dropped to one knee.

"Until this dictator hath been dealt with, and I hath found a way to my home, I doth pledge my sword to thy service."

[Mage]

With a smile and a few claps, Ranulf said. "Wonderful! We have our counter force!" He looked at the group. "Lets split for Smash city, the sooner we get there the better!" He lead the way.

The swordsman nodded. "Right, and thanks for your help guys." He nodded to Arthur and Ammy, while following Ranulf.

Ammy barked in reply and followed the other two, flowers and grass growing around her as she walked, honoring the wolven sun goddess' presence. Ammy would have smiled then, if she could. Once again, the goddess was out doing what she does best: kicking evil's butt.

As for Arthur, he simply stood, and sheathed his sword at his side, before following the others, his armor clanking loudly.

It was obvious subtlety wasn't Arthur's strong point.
