Name:
Shelly Stiles
Game of Origin:
Mushroom Kingdom RP None, but "hails" from the Mario universe
Nicknames:
Shelly, Shell, Shells
Age:
23
Species:
Koopa
Gender:
Female
Alignment:
Neutral
Type:
Lightweight
Residence:
Smash City
Occupation:
Cosmetologist
Moveset:
N/A - Doesn't fight
Final Smash:
N/A - Doesn't fight
Weaknesses:
Unless you consider a pair of sissors a weapon, she knows absolutely no fighting techniques. Although very rare, she can be pretty scarry if you manage to tick her off. Can be a little a little ditzy at times.
Personality:
Shelly is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves her job. A lot. She views her work like it's an art: each person is a masterpiece, and she has the honor of being their artist. Best of all, unlike normal art, she gets the award of knowing that her "artwork" is enjoying it as well. She's very social and kind, being able to to start up a conversation with just about anyone, no matter how shy. She's also a bit of an unintentional salesperson: she tends to try and convince people who only come for a trim to stick around for more so she can keep practicing her art form.
One important thing to note, however, is that, despite her occupation (and love of it), Shelly is not shallow or image-obsessed. In fact, assuming this about her is one of the few things that will tick her off. She knows that it's what inside that truely matters, and she does what she does for the art of it and the joy her clients have, not becasue she believes they're "ugly" and need help. She's even been known to kick people out of her chair if they only wanted her to help them "become popular." In her own words, "in my job, it's about the journey, not the destination."
Likes:
Her job, makeovers, her clients' reactions to her work, getting pampered herself, the color pink
Dislikes:
Shallow people, people who think she's shallow, the color black ("It's depressing!"), emos
Appearance:
Looks like your average female koopa. She normally keeps her strawberry-blonde hair tied up in a simple ponytail. However, she has been known to "try something different" herself once in a while, trying different hairstyles and colors... even different shell colors.
History:
Shelly wanted to be a hairdresser from the start. She spend most of her young life playing with those "styling head" dolls, before moving on to virtual makeover software when she was older. This continued until she reached middle school, where she quickly hit a "conflict of interest"... Her friends were interested in her love of makeovers, but only for their own means. In other words, so they could become "popular." This left Shelly confused: she only did it becasue it was fun... Not becasue she was shallow! This left her discouraged for a long while, causing her to lose interest in the whole thing.
She couldn't ignore something she loved so much, though. As he got older, she developed a more mature view of the matter. It's what's inside that counts, but that doesn't mean one couldn't have fun being pampered. And who said that someone couldn't want a makeover just for the fun of it? With renewed vigor, she went to Beauty School and graduated validictorian of her class. She now works at a salon in the heart of Smash City, doing the job she loves with a perfectly clear conscience.
Anything else? (Optional)
Why would the Master Hand create a trophy of, and then bring life to, a fancharacter created for an entirely different RP?
