An old mine that was used to dig up diamonds, cystals and other jewels, but the mine began to be unsafe, and thus it was abandoned, not even a creature lives there. The last this mine was used, was during a test for the 'Metal Box' on Mario, in a one-on-one battle with other smashers. The test proved succesful, and the mine hasn't been used since.
Events:
Back during the test with Metal Mario, Master Hand made a protection so the mine wouldn't collaspe or any harms can come, but since the test is over, the protection is gone, thus the cave will tend to have diamonds fall, runaway mine carts, platforms that can fall apart and other dangers and disastors. The main arena consist of an old wooden platform on a bunch of diamonds, and a grid patttern above it.8
