Name of Location:
Flatzone
Neighboring Locations:
Flatzone 2 *the only other known location in it's dimension*
Bestiary:
Various pixelated animals. Dogs, cats, octopuses, fish, etc.
Appearence:
History
This location is known as "Flatzone" and it's in a whole nother pixelated dimension. This particular part of Flatzone is the first sector of the dimension, and it has a small village of where the Game & Watches reside. The house seen onthe right of the screen, is the rightful home of THE Mr. Game & Watch.
Events:
- Oil Panic: One of three stage hazards, this one causes a small oil spill in the middle of the fighting arena, right underneath the right platform. A Game & Watch man will come out of one of the two doors on the bottom level and spill a barrel of oil on the ground. The oil doesn't hurt you, but it makes the ground slippery and causes you to skid.
Tools: It's raining tools as screwdrivers, buckets, pliers, and wrenches fall from the sky. They are not stopped by the platforms, so don't try to hide underneath one once the tools start to fall. Simply evade, block, or deflect them (an uppercut move will do the job) or you will suffer 10% damage.
Platform Switch: The platforms on this stage will switch between a two-platform setup, a three-platform setup, and a four-platform setup. There are a number of variations for each one. Once the platform combination switches, watch for a Game & Watch character hanging from one of the platforms. He indicates which platform moves around. Only the platform he is hanging from will switch positions (until it's time for the entire stage to switch to a new setup).
Anything Else:
This is the Flatzone stage from Super Smash Bros. Melee. I made it a little different, but the differences are barely even noticeable. I pretty much just gave it a history in correlation to the Mr. Game & Watch app.
