Special Moveset-
Atmey is a pretty well balanced character, he has an above average endurance combined with decent power and luck; he mostly relies on his logic and knowledge more than anything. His participation in a Boxing Club during his college years suggests he may have some hidden strength. He moves cautiously but swiftly. His moveset is composed of varying attacks to help get ahead of any foe. Being one step ahead is very important to Atmey...
Standard Attack: Zvarri!- Atmey takes a huge step forward to take a better look at you. He uses his magnifying glass to do so, which doubles in size while this attack is being executed. This is what deals damage. Once again the truth has been elegantly revealed to him!
Upward Attack: (R) Satchel- Atmey attacks with a large brown satchel. It hurts more than it sounds, who knows what treasures are inside...? He swings it horizontally in the air and on the ground. It has poor vertical recovery.
Downward Attack: Third Eye- After shielding himself from an attack, Atmey counters with a blow to the face. Because he's only protected by his own forearms (crossed in front of his face and upper chest), damaged isn't totally repealed but is greatly reduced.
Side Attack: Atmey Style- Atmey tosses a powerful punch at a nearby foe. It is quick but hard hitting. If done at the right time, it could deal a one hit KO if not high damage (like Luigi's Super Jump Punch).
Final Smash: Mask*DeMasque- Atmey puts on his own Mask*DeMasque costume and goes to town! His moveset remains the same, but his power is maxed out. Each attack deals insane amounts of damage if it doesn't KO the victim. He is also much lighter and aerodynamic; He can remain airborne by preforming midair attacks. After 4 turns his attire and character stats return to their original state.
Weaknesses:
Atmey is a pretty able bodied man, whose weakness mostly lies in his head. He is described as "one sandwich short of a picnic" (or something along those lines...). He has a habit of overestimating himself and pushing himself too far/much.. which is never good. His extreme egotism makes him a difficult person to get along with or like. Frankly, he's very annoying.
Personality:
Luke Atmey's prominent aspect of his personality is his hubris. He is over confident and never admits his faults, sometimes just denying them all together. He can be very shady and sinister, making him creepy to other characters. He doesn't have much of a sense of justice, most often solving cases and crimes for the fame and glory instead of administering justice. While he believes in chivalry and practicing proper manners, he doesn't seem to have problems with being dishonest or stealing from others.. as long as he benefits from it.
His first instinct when meeting new people is to use flattery. While he tries to make himself amiable and good-natured around others and make friends, his true persona always happens to seep out. He's fake, slick, but sophisticated. While he doesn't mind the company of others (it gives him the chance to talk about how awesome he is), he most often prefers to be by himself and one can call him somewhat of a recluse. He calls himself "Lone Wolf Luke". His biggest goal in life to make himself extremely famous and be known forever in history. Despite his goals of rising to fame, he doesn't seem to be too concerned with money and one can say he is prodigal. He tries to accomplish this goal by working in subjects such as chemistry and medical science along with the criminal field to make a name for himself. Needless to say, he is VERY ambitious and hardworking.
Likes: Positive attention, his red jewel, beautiful things/ treasures, fine art, luxury, being the best, to be adored, talking about himself, looking at things through his magnifying glass, classical music, reading, boxing, Godot, being right, lying, researching, being by himself, running his own agency, his job
Dislikes: Ron Delite/Mask*DeMasque, Desirée Delite, Kane Bullard, Phoenix Wright, Maya Fey, when his plans are foiled, people who are smarter/more clever than he is, being ignored, negative attention, making mistakes, being blackmailed (unlike Ron ;o)

History:
As Phoenix Wright guessed during the "The Stolen Turnabout" trial, Luke's report card as a child always had the same comment, "Is always causing mischief to bring attention to himself!".
Walking home one night the detective had stumbled into the scene of a crime, the valuable Tear of Emanon had been stolen. Taking the case and investigating it, Atmey soon and easily found out that Mask*DeMasque was the culprit; He had discovered his costume neatly hidden in a garbage can near the scene. He deducted that the thief's true identity was Ron DeLite, a security guard who was conveniently and suspiciously on the scene too. Later Atmey mailed a blackmail letter. He threatened to reveal Ron's alter ego if he didn't give the Tear of Emanon to him. After receiving the gem about 5-6 business, he sent the guard a generous allowance. Atmey had returned the Tear of Emanon and received a precious red gem as a reward and the title of Ace Detective. This is the same gem he wears as a ring on his middle finger. Atmey continued to send more and more letters to DeLite. Inside each envelope were plans for new heists, instructions on how to do so, and even training tips to get Ronny ready.
While DeLite and Atmey seemed to have been benefiting mutually, the praise for recovering the stolen items in exchange for money, DeLite's old boss, Kane Bullard, discovered Atmey's secret. He blackmailed the Ace Detective and demanded he pay him in cash for keeping his secret, if not he would reveal the secret to the press. Fearing that the world would know he was a fake and only solving his own carefully thought out crimes, Atmey murdered Bullard. Days before he had sent Ron the same blackmail letter he had received from Bullard, so Mask*DeMasque would appear at the crime scene too. Once he arrived, Atmey knocked him out cold with a blow to the forehead. With the thief and victim in the same room, he intended on having Ron framed for the murder. He also pushed the alarm for security to rush to the scene and find them there, but no one ever came.
To secure an alibi for himself, Atmey laid out evidence that would lead to his accusation of stealing a Sacred Urn from an exhibit the same night of the murder. Though Ron turned himself in as Mask*DeMasque, the fake evidence and Ron's awkward disposition lead everyone to believe otherwise. Atmey had fooled everyone into believing he had made an archenemy from himself and that he was Mask*DeMasque all along.
However, during his trial of being Mask*DeMasque, Atmey was summoned into DeLite's subsequent murder trial. Ron's disbelieving attorney, Phoenix Wright, had suspicions of the detective from the very beginning and was now determined to prove his true persona before it was too late. Because Atmey would be convicted as the thief, under the law of double jeopardy, it was impossible for him to be charged for the murder too. Thus, he wouldn't serve as long or harshly as he would for the murder if he was ever caught. Testimonies from Atmey had given Wright the additional evidence he needed, proving that Atmey had made plans for the murder and the theft long before their execution. Careful picking of the testimony proved that Atmey had stolen the Sacred Urn possibly weeks before it was realized to be missing, and using the Mask*DeMasque costume he had found before had taken a picture of himself as the thief stealing the artifact. He also stated Ron was dressed as Mask*DeMasque while he arrived to the murder scene, a tiny tidbit only mentioned at Ron's trial which Atmey wasn't present. Atmey knowing Ron was dressed as Mask*DeMasque showed he was at the murder and in fact the murderer.
He was given the death penalty for the seriousness of his crime and now awaits in jail for his impending verdict.
Anything else?
Luke Atmey is a pun off of "look at me". His Japanese name comes from the phrase "ai ga hoshii dake", which means "I just want love".
"SHHHH! SILENCE! ......ZVARRI!!"
