Final Smash – Viking Rock
The Lost Vikings pull out their greatest combo weapon: Their Rock. With Erik on Guitar, Baleog on Bass, Olaf on Drums, Scorch on Keyboard and Fang on the Microphone they start rocking out the house! The shockwaves from their instruments damages upon impact, just like Donkey Kong’s Final Smash. They play their music for three rounds, and the Vikings are all immortal while they’re playing.
Appearance:
These are the Vikings! In order from the left they are: Baleog, Erik, Fang, Scorch and Olaf. The Vikings are of the same heights as any normal humans would be, with Erik being the shortest in 5'8", Baleog about 6 feet long and Olaf being 6'2".
History:
Baleog, Olaf and Erik, the Lost Vikings, have since their lives began been hunters in their home village in the cold north of Earth. They lived with their own wives and children, hunting from sunrise to sundown to put food on their families’ tables. However, one night they were kidnapped by an unknown flying contraption they would later on get to know as Tomator’s ship. Tomator was a Croutonian Emperor who kidnapped them to “collect unique life forms to display in his gallery” as his other prisoners put it. During their journey to meet this Tomator, and ultimately defeat him, they ventured to many times and places. This includes the Prehistoric Age, Ancient Egypt, Candy World, and of course Tomator’s Spaceship.
In the end they managed to get to him, and with their skills and courage they launched Tomator out of an airlock and (unintentionally) set the ship to self-destruct. They made their way home, and were re-united with their loved ones. All was good, and life was peaceful once again.
However, it wouldn’t last long. After a couple of years life was back to normal, but Tomator was out for revenge. He kidnapped our heroes while they were out fishing, and transported them to his arena, where they were to face one of his henchmen. However, due to malfunctions (which was caused due to him striking his control-panel in joy of catching these pesky buggers) the lights went out, and during this time the Vikings got their new tools and thinga-majings from Tomator’s robotic henchman.
However, the teleportation device failed, and sent them on another crazy chase through time. This second journey took them to Transylvania, The Dark Ages, Pirate World, The Amazon Jungle, and a War Torn Future as if taken from a bad Sci-Fi movie. They also stumbled upon their new friends Fang the Werewolf and Scorch the Dragon in Transylvania and the Dark Ages respectively, and together the five of them saved themselves from Tomator and his time bending wrath. They were teleported back to their ship, and all seemed to be good.
However, once again something failed on their way home. Instead of being transported back to earth, as they should’ve been, both they and their ship are now here in This World, currently crossing the oceans to the north of the continent.
Anything else?
Quotes:
Erik: “If I bash one more wall right now my head will explode!”
Baleog: “I got dibs on his helmet!”
Olaf: “Okay, but I get his boots!”
Erik: “It’s great to have such good friends.”
Erik: “Do you guys have the feeling that we are being watched?”
Olaf: “Yeah, almost like someone is controlling our every move.”
Baleog: “You two are just paranoid.
Olaf: “Oh yeah, well who is that person staring at us right now?”
Baleog: “He’s right! Let’s get out of here!”
Erik: “Can’t you guys walk any faster?”
Olaf: “I’d like to see you lug this shield around for a while.”
Baleog: “Yeah, or a broadsword and a lifetime supply of arrows.”
Olaf: “We’ll see how fast you walk.”
Erik: “Uh oh. I think I hit a nerve. You guys just take your time.”
Olaf: “That’s better.”
Erik: “Mosters! Traps! Is any reward worth this?”
Baleog: “If we make it back, maybe they’ll make us into a Saturday morning cartoon.”
Olaf: “Wow! I wonder how I’d look on TV…

Personal Relationships:
Each other? They’re newcomers to This World, you know...
Occupation:
Vikings, Time Travellers, Alien Battlers
Moveset - Erik:
Erik don’t only use his bodily speed, but also cybernetics and technology of Alien origin. Also, he can breathe under water due to implants in his helmet.
Special Moves:
Erik’s special moves are based on his moves from the games.
Standard Attack – Hand of Thor
Due to circumstances unknown, even though most likely because of either Cybernetic Implants or Divine Intervention, Erik can load an electric charge in his hands. This he can shoot towards his enemies, damaging and possibly stunning them for two rounds, or until they’re attacked. It’s got 3 Charge Levels, every charge increasing the chance of stunning by one.
Charge: Level 0 = Damage, No Stun; Level 1 = Damage, 1/4 Stun (1-3 = Not Stunned, 4 = Stunned); Level 2 = Damage + 1/3 Stun (1-2 = Not Stunned, 3 = Stunned); Level 3 = Damage + 1/2 Stun (1 = Not Stunned, 2 = Stunned);
Dice: 6 VS 6 + Roll Die (4/3/2 Sided)
Upward Attack – Rocket Boots (R)
Erik wears a pair of Rocket Boots, which he can use to gain extra altitude. It’s similar to Fox’ “Fire Fox” in both appearance and functionality, and it really packs some strength. The jets from the boots are blue in colour however, and only appear below him from his shoes. Those are two of the most visible differences between the two attacks.
Dice: 6 VS 6
Downward Attack (One-on-One Brawls) – Viking Switch
In official Brawl Matches where the battlers face each other one-on-one, all of the Vikings' Down Specials are to switch in between them. Erik is changed for Baleog, Baleog is switched out for Olaf, Olaf is replaced with Fang, Fang change places with Scorch, and Scorch is returned for Erik.
Downward Attack (Team Brawls) – Combo Attack (Erik and Scorch) – Dragon Meteor
This attack is performed with Erik launching himself into the air, towards Scorch. He grabs the dragon, and then launches him downwards towards an enemy. At the last moment the dragon unfold his wings and starts to glide, attempting to grab an opponent in flight should he succeed with the dice roll. The dragon then folds his wings again and pushes the opponent into the ground, dragging him along until they finally come to a stop.
Dice: 6 VS. 6
Side Attack – Helmet Charge
One of his most standard attacks from his time aboard Tomator’s Ship is to charge into an enemy or a wall and thus damage and/or destroy it. This move is also in use in This World, a simple yet inhumanly strong one way rush of Brute Viking Force. It can make an impact on everything from poor Jigglypuff to the plate in Wormwinkle’s Shuttle. Since it’s normally used to break walls it is easy to sidestep, but if it hits it takes a crazy amount of 2 HP from the hit target.
Dice: 6 VS 8
Regular Attacks:
Erik battles using his fists and feet.
(A) Standard Attack – Kickin’ Combo
Erik attacks his opponent with a barrage of kicks.
(A) Upward Attack – Satellite Punch
Erik attacks his opponent with a punch skywards. It’s not as strong as his Smash attack, but it’s still enough.
(A) Downward Attack – Breaking Kick
Erik falls down in a break-dance move, aims low and kicks his opponent.
(A) Side Attack – Power Kick
Erik deals a powerful kick to his opponent's abdomen.
(A) Running Attack – Bull Rush
It’s basically a weaker form of his Helmet Charge, but still a strong move.
Aerials:
Airborne kicks and punches.
Standard Aerial - Kick
Erik delivers a basic kick. Nothing fancy here, it ain't.
Upward Aerial - Flying Jab
Erik jabs his fist upwards, trying to strike his opponent from below.
Downward Aerial - Giant Cracker (M)
Erik balls his hands together into a fist and slams his opponent. This can send his opponent rocketing towards and hopefully into the ground if done correctly.
Side Aerial - Spinning Kick
Erik kicks twice, once forward and once backward, all while spinning.
Smash Attacks:
Erik’s smash attacks are basically strong attacks.
Upward Smash – Chin Kick
Erik takes a high aim, and kicks his opponent in the chin.
Downward Smash – Stomp
Erik stomps the ground, quickly drags his foot backwards and then kicks behind him.
Side Smash – Soccer Ace
Erik attacks his opponent with a devastating kick which would make any soccer professional proud, hence the name. This move can send the opponent rocketing skywards if done properly.
Grabs:
Grab 1
Erik grabs his opponent by the shoulders. He can then proceed to either give a headbutt to the face, or just throw his opponent away like a rag.
Taunts:
Upward Taunt - Stance
Erik runs on the spot, and then stops to take a breather.
Downward Taunt - Waiting
Erik removes his helmet and scratches his hair. Then he puts the helmet back on.
Side Taunt - Taunt
Erik nonchalantly plays a tune on his guitar.
Weaknesses:
Mental
He has problems trusting non-humans to be anything but hostile. Those who aren’t even capable of proper human speech he’s not even willing to give the benefit of a doubt.
Also, he believes himself to be quiet the ladies man, and thus can easily get unfocused when facing a lady, especially a flirty one.
He usually don’t think things through before busting in, wanting to get things done as quick as possible.
Physical
Erik may be strong, but he’s not heavy. He’s the easiest of the three to send flying, although he’s got a fairly good jump.
Personality:
Erik may have problems trusting non-humans, but even though that he’s probably the most diplomatic of the three. His patience may not be the greatest, and he may be quite a bastard when he gets angry, but once he’s gotten past all that he is able to give humans the benefit of a doubt. However, all of that disappears when he’s facing the right kind of lady. If she compliments his beard, tells him he’s powerful, and that he’s better than Olaf and Baleog and he’ll be hers until she insult him.
Also, he’s not one to think things through. He usually tells someone what is on his mind when it is on his mind, to later on not think more about that and proceed to the next task at hand. Same goes for situations in which action is needed, such as taking down a bad guy, saving a lady, or something the like.

Dislikes:

Moveset - Baleog:
Baleog mainly use his strength and his energy sword, but he too has cybernetic implants of alien origin which he can use in battle.
Special Moves:
Baleog’s special moves are taken from the games directly.
Standard Attack – Burning Arrows
Before their adventures Baleog was a great hunter, using a bow to quickly put down his prey. During their travels he’s found a way to magically enhance his arrows with fire, enabling him to shoot Flaming Arrows from his bow. They don’t do damage to neither himself nor the bow, even though burning.
Dice: 6 VS 6
Upward Attack – Robotic Arm (R)
Baleog has a cybernetic arm, with a hand which he can eject from its socket due to them being connected by a chain. He can use this to grab items, levers and enemies from afar, and then pull them to him in order to attack. He can also use it to grab hold of ledges far away, and thus pull himself towards it and save himself from falling to his demise. If an enemy is hit, this acts as an instant grab move should Baleog wish to do so.
Dice: 6 VS 6 + If hit the enemy is instantly grabbed
Downward Attack (One-on-One Brawls) – Viking Switch
In official Brawl Matches where the battlers face each other one-on-one, all of the Vikings' Down Specials are to switch in between them. Erik is changed for Baleog, Baleog is switched out for Olaf, Olaf is replaced with Fang, Fang change places with Scorch, and Scorch is returned for Erik.
Downward Attack (Team Brawls) – Combo Attack (Baelog & Olaf) – Rolling Viking
Baleog uses his immense strength to pick up Olaf and then throw him towards their enemy in a bowling motion. Olaf rolls together into a ball and will then start rolling towards the enemy until he ultimately hits it, after which he will rise to his feet again and continue with the battle.
Dice: 6 VS 6
Side Attack – Sliding Swipe
Baleog attacks an enemy by throwing himself towards him and slashing with his sword. It can also be used midair, but now he throws himself downwards instead of towards an enemy.
Dice: 6 VS 6
Regular Attacks:
Baleog do battle mainly by using his sword.
(A) Standard Attack – Slash
Baleog cuts his enemy with his sword.
(A) Upward Attack – Vertical Cut
Baleog swing his sword upwards, slashing his opponent up into the air.
(A) Downward Attack – Windmill
Baleog changes to a vertical grip and starts spinning it like a mill. It can make one or more cuts with a low aim, pushing the enemy back would it need to.
(A) Side Attack – Stab
Baleog takes a long aim and stabs his opponent from afar.
Aerials:
Sword and Feet are used while airborne. It can’t get any simpler.
Standard Aerial – Kicker
Baleog delivers a kick to his enemy.

Baleog makes an up-going slash with his sword, attempting to strike an enemy above him.
Downward Aerial – Piercing Stab

Smash Attacks:
Swords are mainly used in his smash attacks, even though a kick is used as well. And he uses his stretchable arm once too.
Upward Smash – Kick and Thrust
Baleog kicks his opponent into the air, and then proceeds to cut him through.
Downward Smash – Whirling Cut
Baleog starts spinning with his sword stretched out. This enables cutting a lot of enemies, or at least cutting one enemy several times.
Side Smash – Distance Punch
Baleog stretches his robotic arm with a fist and punches his opponent. This is an attack with high reach, and even though that good damage.
Grabs:
Grab 1 – Neckgrab
Baleog grabs an enemy by the neck and proceeds to cut him with the sword.
Grab 2 – Stretched Grab
Baleog grabs his opponent with his robotic, stretchable arm. He now pulls the enemy to him and proceeds to attack him.
Taunts:
Upward Taunt - Stance
Baleog flexes his muscles. First his left biceps, then both arms above his head, then both arms below his head, and lastly his right biceps.
Downward Taunt - Waiting
He glances towards the fourth wall, snorts, and then focuses on his opponent again.
Side Taunt - Taunting
Baleog plays a tune on his bass, before returning it to hammerspace.
Weaknesses:
Mental
Due to a lack of hair-growth on his chin, he doesn't have a beard. This makes him very protective of his mustache and his hair, leading him to going to no ends to protect it from any kind of damage. Also he’s got one heck of a temper, and may even go to the length of punching someone’s face in just for looking strangely at him.
Physical
He’s got the second worst jumpability and speed of the group. Also, even though he is very strong he's got very low stamina, and gets tired easily.
Personality:
Baleog is basically a short temper in disguise. He’s very easy to anger, can't take a joke, and once he gets angry he’ll bash your head in until you don’t anger him anymore. The only ones to whom his patience goes as far as to not bash their heads in are his brothers, Olaf and Erik, and their friends Fang and Scorch.
Baleog tends to be blunt about things, and not because he wants to get things done with, but because he just doesn’t care about whether he insults someone or not. He couldn’t care less about the feelings of others, his brothers included.
Likes:
Meat, Arguing, Fighting, Adventuring, His Mustache and Hair, Treasures
Dislikes:
Bastards, Jokes, Annoying People, Irritating People, Whiny People, People in General
Moveset - Olaf:
Olaf’s strength is in his weight and steadiness, but he also uses his shield for some of the attacks. And due to alien implants and machinery he can also teleport short distances and shrink to miniature size. And his jumping is always followed by him using his shield as a hang glider.
Special Moves:
Olaf’s special attacks are inspired from what he can do in the games, but not limited to that. He has also got a move which I’ve created for him myself.
Standard Attack – Shield
Olaf uses his shield to block attacks and projectiles aimed for him. The strength of the attack is then collected inside the shield, and later used to power up his Shield Boomerang attack.
Upward Attack – Teleport and Glide (R)
As mentioned, Olaf has the ability to teleport short distances. He both can and will use this to teleport himself up into the air, and while up there he uses his shield for a hang-glider. This move doesn't do any damage to anyone while used, but it can damage anyone who is trapped beneath Olaf when he decides to stop gliding and start descending upon them like an anvil.
Downward Attack (Team Brawls) - Combo Attack (Olaf and Erik) - Viking Rocket
Olaf lets Erik jump onto his shield, and then uses it to launch Erik sideways. This sends him flying like a rocket, with enough strength to take away 2 HP from the opponent he hits. The speed of this attack makes it very hard to avoid, but the attack also makes Erik lose on of his own HP when he hits the enemy.
7 VS 6
Side Attack – Round Boomerang
Olaf sends his shield flying like a boomerang. The shield adds one side on the dice for each hit it has taken, to a maximum of +3. Once the attack is made the Bonus Count falls to zero again.
Dice: 6+ VS 6
Regular Attacks:
Olaf uses his hands and his shield to battle.
(A) Standard Attack – Punch Combo
A simple punch combo. He starts with a double left, followed by a strike with the shield on his right.
(A) Upward Attack – Upper Left

(A) Running Attack – Shield Rush

Aerials:
Attacks by using his shield and hands. He also use his feet while airborne.

Upward Aerial – Chin-slam
Olaf slams his shield into the chin of his opponent.
Downward Aerial – In-Between
Olaf swings his shield in between his legs and into the head of an opponent below him.
Forward Aerial – Slam-dunk (M)
Olaf slams his shield into the head of his opponent. This can make an opponent grounded as fast as he got himself airborne.
Backward Aerial – All-Around
Olaf spins and slams his shield into the side of his opponent.
Smash Attacks:
Shield attacks. Very strong shield attacks.
Upward Smash – Shovel Slam
Olaf grips his shield like a shovel and launches his opponent into the air. Then he slams his shield into said opponent to send him flying further.
Downward Smash – Body slam
Olaf throws himself to the ground shield first, attempting to flatten his opponent beneath his shield.
Side Smash – Shield Swing
Olaf swings his shield like a baseball bat in order to send his opponent rocketing skywards.
Grabs:
Grab 1 – By the collar
He grabs his opponent by the collar, and can from here proceed either by sending him flying with a well aimed strike from his shied, or simply bash his head in with said shield.
Taunts:
Upward Taunt - Stance
Olaf reveals a pair of drumsticks. He juggle these, before putting them back into his pocket.
Downward Taunt - Waiting
Olaf decides to pick his nose. He watches the booger he pulls out, and then flicks it away.
Side Taunt - Taunting
Olaf turns 2d and starts dancing. Like the image above, but only once.
Weaknesses:
Mental
He thinks very highly of his shield, and believes himself to be invincible behind it. Sure, the shield itself is invincible, but that doesn’t save him if someone gets past it.
Possibly won’t battle someone without a reason for it. Valid reasons may include “They’re bad guys”, “They’ve kidnapped us/him/her”, “They’ve stolen your food”, or just the fact that they’re attacking them.
Also, he’s a bit of a glutton. He tends to eat something at every time possible, and when he’s out of food he just sets out to find more.
He believes fully in the judgment of his brothers, and if they say it’s a good thing to rush into things he simply says “If you say so” and run along with them.
Physical
Olaf might be the slowest of the group in speed and jumpability. He does, however, balance this with his awesome strength, being able to withstand the weight of a big block of concrete, as well as the weight of both of his Viking brothers.
Personality:
Olaf might probably be the least aggressive of the quintet , but that doesn’t make him any less dangerous. He’s still as strong and deadly as the other four, it’s just that he prefers not to use it in other than defensive means.
Olaf is also the most intelligent of the five, so to speak. He prefers thinking things through before blasting in, but since he believes in his brothers he usually follows them instead of making his own mind heard.
Likes:
Food, Music, Dance, Philosophy, Adventures, His Brothers, His Shield
Dislikes:
Tomator, Using Weapons, Offensive Battling
Moveset - Fang:
Fang is a werewolf, and thus battles using a wolf's strength and speed in combination with a human's intelligence. He has got claws and fangs to use, as well as the ability to scale walls should he want to.
Special Moves:
Fang uses his wolf traits to attack his enemy.
Standard Attack – Ravage Claws
Fang slashes his opponent with a powerful storm of claws. This is a really strong attack, and with it he can probably slash almost anything apart.
Dice: 7 VS. 6
Upward Attack – Wall Climber (R)
Fang throws himself upwards with his claws drawn. If he lands on a wall he will attach himself to it, and from here launch himself further upwards against the walls. If he "lands" on an enemy he'll add more speed by launching himself from the enemy's shoulders, and can then proceed with the attack should another enemy emerge in his path.
Dice: 6 VS. 6
Downward Attack (Team Brawls) – Combo Attack (Fang and Baleog) – Launched Blade
Baleog stretches his arm out towards Fang, and Fang grabs it. Baleog then jumps into the air as Fang starts to spin him above his head three times. During these three revolves Baleog can slash any opponent that is close enough, even though his dice is reduced to 5 instead of 6. Afterwards Fang lets go of Baleog, throwing him at an opponent and dealing damage.
Dice: 5 VS. 6 / Attack + 6 VS. 6
Side Attack – Wolf Fangs
Fang launches himself like a wolf, and bites his opponent's shoulder. This is a grab move, which is further described in the grab section.

Side Smash – Backhand Swipe
As the name says, Fang makes a backhand swipe with his claws, attacking the enemy in front of him.
Grabs:
Grab 1 – Shoulder Grip
Fang grabs the enemy by the shoulder and proceeds to slash him with the claws.
Grab 2 - Wolf Tackle
While grabbing in Wolf Tackle, Fang simply stands on his enemy and bites him. The "throw" would be him pushing the opponent into the ground whilst launching himself away.
Taunts:
Upward Taunt - Stance
Fang drops to all four and lets out a wolfish howl.
Downward Taunt - Waiting
Fang again drops to all four, this time to scratch himself behind the ear with his back right paw.
Side Taunt - Taunting
Fang growls at the enemies while glaring at them.
Weaknesses:
Mental
His cockiness and flashiness makes him a vulnerable target for flattery and such. If someone "Whoo!"s him, so to speak, he gets over-confident in himself and starts doing mistakes.
Physical
Also, while attempting to do everything as flashy as humanly possible, its easy to make mistakes even without being over-confident. Also, he's got both long hair and long fur... did someone else hear the word "fireball" or was it just me imagining things?
Personality:
To put it simple, Fang is cocky. He uses lots of sarcasm, is pretty self-centered, does everything as flashy as he possibly can, and makes sure that as many people as possible is there to watch him do it. Also, he has a generally taunting attitude, always trying to get people on the edge. He finds it especially fun to mock Baleog and Erik.
Likes:
Keepin' it flashy, Sarcasm, Irony, Taunting Erik about his Flirty ways, Taunting Baleog in general, Meat
Dislikes:
Fruit, Lack of Attention, Lack of Flashiness, No Reaction from his taunting.
Moveset - Scorch:
As a dragon, scorch uses his fire and flight to his advantage. Other than that he is also very agile and quick, probably the second quickest of the group after Erik. He can jump up to six times using his wings, and after that he can glide through the air like Pit and Meta Knight.
Special Moves:
His special moves uses mostly fire and other dragon like qualities. These are more improvised than the rest of the Lost Vikings'.
Standard Attack – Dragon Fire
Scorch breaths fire, resulting in a fireball flying towards the enemy. He may launch up to three fireballs towards his enemies per post.
Dice: 6 VS. 6
Upward Attack – Hot Air Boost
With his fiery attacks, he heats up the air beneath his wings and gains altitude by that. He can from there continue flying like usually. The only way for him to damage someone with this attack is to hit someone while rising, but then he looses his focus and stops his move.
Dice: 6 VS. 6
Downward Attack (Team Brawls) – Combo Attack (Scorch and Fang) – Wolf Drop
Scorch starts swooping and grabs Fang by the shoulders. He then lets the werewolf go above an enemy, sending Fang into the enemy to deal damage. This move in itself deals damage only when Fang lands on an enemy.
Dice: 6 VS. 6
Side Attack – Scale Sling
Scorch pulls back his wings and then, as he whips them in front of him, launches razor-blade sharp dragon scales at his enemies. Up to five Dragon Scales may be launched per post.
Dice: 6 VS. 6
Regular Attacks:
Using his claws, wings and tail, Scorch attacks his enemies.
(A) Standard Attack – Triple Claw
With his front paws, Scorch slashes the air in front of him three times.
(A) Upward Attack – Wing Clap
Scorch slaps his wings above his head.
(A) Downward Attack – Tail Hook
The dragon attacks his opponent with his tail.
(A) Side Attack – Punch

Weaknesses:
Mental
One weakness is that he always stands by his word, whether its to friend or enemy doesn't matter. He can't break a promise to anyone, no matter how much he wants to.
He reacts bad to panic, often forgetting how to do things that he usually would find simple. One such example is when he fell of a steep cliff with pointy rocks below, and in the following panic forgot how to fly.
Physical
As mentioned above, in panic he could forget how he does simple things such as flying, breathing fire, and firing dragon scales.
His stomach is his weak spot. Were he to be hit here he would feel the pain even more, possible loosing the ability to act due to the pain and shock.
Personality:
Scorch has two main characteristics which his friends connect with him: Loyalty and Honor. He's a man that always stands by his word, and could never betray his friends no matter how much he wished to do so. Also, he tends to be quiet a lot, usually not using the ways of small talk to entertain himself.
