Dracula smiled as he saw the woman walk off, "Excellent," He lifted his cloak over his face, "Reveal yourself. I can always tell when you're hiding."
The figure emerged and seemed to be that of Death, "Once again, you can see through my actions...Mr. Tepes."
He turned his head toward the creature, "And what of the two intruders?"
"The woman...I put her in one of the magic protected cells."
"Splendid. And what of the man?"
"He is defeated."
The man smiled and lowered his head, "Dead?"
"No."
"..." The man grew a dark shadow over his face. "Excuse me? But didn't I lay the responsibility of destroying the Belmont?"
"There is no Belmont."
"..." He gave a blank stare, blinkly slightly. "Go on."
"He is not of the Belmont lineage...when I came to him on the battlefield, I peered into his very soul and was about to take it."
"...and you didn't
because?"
"Because he is not a Belmont. His name is Arthur."
"...Arthur. Hm, well, I suppose he is no threat to me. No mere human has ever been able to defeat me, only those with that accursed whip..." Dracula rose an eyebrow, "Though I don't understand...why didn't you reap him anyhow? It's not like you to take pity..."
The creature stared blankly at the man, "It was not his time...though his time will come."
"Hm, well, fair enough." He walked toward the creature within a few step's range and rested his hand on Death's shoulder. "I have one more favor to ask of you yet on this dark night my friend."
"Anything you wish...Mr. Tepes."
"Search around the castle for any more intruders. I have a feeling...someone I know within the village has leaked information out about me, and there may be an uprisal that I was unaware of."
"As you wish...Lord Dracula." Death vanished into mid-air, teleporting elsewhere.
Dracula sighed alone in the room, "I can only hope these were the only intruders."
