Pumped Up!: Duke pops some steroids which allow his muscles to tense up violently and his veins to bulge. He then throws his hands into the ground, and then forcibly shakes the stage right and left. Lasts for 3 turns, players must roll to see if they fly off or not. Rolls below three mean that they are off. Rolling above three means that they stay on.

A hero and a horn dog all in one. Duke Nukem likes kicking ass and chasing some girls on the side. He takes pride in his pick up and smack down abilities. In times of an alien attack he’s fully equipped with night vision goggles, guns, shrink/freeze rays, bombs, a jetpack, and his latest books written by him, just in case he wants to read the aliens a good bedtime story before he puts them to sleep. He always said and always will say, “It’s time to kick ass or chew bubble gum…and I’m all out of gum.” Sadly, he never seems to have bubble gum on him…Either way, Duke strives to be a hero at all times, not only for the safety of the world, but also so he can make use of the stories when picking up chicks.

History:
The year 1997. Dr. Proton was a madman, determined to take over the world with his army of Techbots. Duke Nukem, the eponymous hero, was hired by the CIA to stop him. The first episode takes place in the devastated city of Los Angeles. In the second episode, Duke follows Dr. Proton to his secret moonbase. In the third episode, Dr. Proton escapes into the future, and Duke pursues him through time, to put a permanent end to his mad schemes.
Duken Nukem was on the TV, being interviewed on his new book “Why I’m So Great”, when he was called yet again to “Kick Ass”. Dr. Proton rose again to take over the world, forcing his own ideals on everyone, attempting to make their brains nothing but mush. Duke was too strong for the mad man though, and saved the day in the name of the USA and hot women. Duke then went absent for some time…
Duke Nukem is now in “the early 21st century" in a broken and morally corrupt Los Angeles. An alien transgenic species has infiltrated Earth in Duke's absence. Upon crash landing back to Earth, Duke finds most humans to be absent, with a few attractive women remaining as diversions for the aliens. American civilization has been reduced to a virtual wasteland whilepornography the attractive female figure has become the sole source of entertainment. As well as killing aliens to free Earth, Duke must also solve puzzles to progress through the invasion. Duke ends up saving the day once again, scoring all the hot women he saved.
Duke’s next journey opens with him riding his motorbike towards the Bootylicious Club in downtown Los Angeles, only to find aliens known as "Pig Cops" teleporting in to disrupt his fun, turning his motorcycle into a pink child's bicycle. Duke takes out the Pig Cops and the mission begins. If not for the world, if not for the babes…for his d**n bicycle. Duke Nukem repeatedly destroys mutant after alien after mutant, trying to save the world. He ends up successful in the end when he sent the aliens back home.
Duke is later called into action via the Government, aliens have once again landed and were wreaking havoc. Duke pummels the alien menace through the streets of New York with the help of some marines, and eventually to the Statue of Liberty. Here, Duke discovered the aliens true plan, to go back in time, mess with historic events so Earth now wouldn't be what it is, they could easily take over. However, Duke in his fight, was teleported to the future, where the aliens have won and the humans were near extinction. In this time zone, Duke battled through horrors of new alien breeds in the future, and the zombified corpses of those who didn't survive the fallout. Duke eventually met up with the small band of resistance fighters in the old headquarters of the U.S. army in New York. There, they told him that the aliens are indeed screwing with history, so much that this future is just one, if Duke wants the old one back he'd have to fight for it. The humans have developed their own time machine in order to send a soldier back to re-write history, and destroy the aliens. Duke is sent back to the Old West, where aliens have messed with the American West in an effort to mine out Earth for its resources.
In the Old West, due to technical difficulties, Duke made do with period weaponry with the exception of a few of his weapons which his allies can send back. The aliens have begun creating super-soldiers in order to combat Nukem and the humans of the future. After blowing up a ship containing the super-soldiers, Duke made his way through the rough in order to get to his destination, Roswell. At Roswell, he stopped the mining project before the aliens could succeed, and he defeats the alien general in charge who just happened to be of the captain custard type who is in charge of the operation. Duke then was informed, that it's not just America's past that is being altered, the aliens have also been sent to the Victorian Era of London.
In the Victorian Era, Duke was set upon by the biological weaponry the aliens have been manufacturing. Zombies littered the streets, and Brains floated in the air. Duke fought himself toward the castle, which the aliens have taken over (not before blowing up a Zeppelin). In the castle, Duke faced the worst of the horrors the aliens have created, and finally confronted the alien general in charge of it all, a giant brain. After demolishing the castle, and eliminating the alien threat in time, Duke was ready for some R'n'R, unfortunately, the aliens weren't. All of the meddling with time has caused a rift in the space-time continuum, and now more aliens from all of history were pouring into New York in a desperate attempt to destroy humanity.
Once again fighting through the city streets, Duke entered the alien mothership. He fought through wave after wave of aliens in order to confront the monster behind all this madness, Zero. Duke used the impressive alien technology from the mother ship and battled Zero on the rooftops of the city. After felling the beast, Duke finally set things right. Duke cleaned up Manhattan from the alien menace, and gets ready to relax with his "reward"…the usual.
Duke Nukem was hired by the CIA to join in on the Manhattan Project, which was a specific operation made in order to take out Mech Morphix, a mad scientist who was using a radioactive slime dubbed G.L.O.P.P. (Gluon Liquid Omega-Phased Plasma) to mutate creatures into deadly monsters in order to take over Manhattan island, New York City. These enemies included mutated alligators, giant cockroaches, and even the Pig cops. Duke also faced a few enemies who were not mutants, such as Fem-Mechs and lethal whip-wielding gynoids. Duke whipped his ass as fast as he could, saving the day again.
Set mostly in a dystopian future, Duke’s next mission began in modern day Los Angeles, when Duke was interrupted at a lady club by the sudden teleportation of women and pig-cops. After a gun battle, Duke used the teleportation device to travel forwards through time, where he was greeted by a woman - a member of the Unified Babe Resistance - who explains that in the future aliens have invaded earth, killed all men and enslaved all women. The Unified Babe Resistance has avoided the aliens thus far, and have sent for Duke to fight off the aliens. Duke willingly hopped on board (hoping to get a chance to hop on something else) in order to help the human race. Duke goes up against the head of the aliens and defeated the creature, and hoped on this being the last time that aliens would attack. After claiming his “going away present”, Duke regretfully left the Planet of the Babes and head back home to LA.
While heading to the “Gila Monster” club, Duke saw a flashing light. In this light he could see a new world, but more importantly, a hot blond babe taking her armored suit off to reveal a skin tight blue body suit. He decided to go investigate, and by investigate; I mean try to get her phone number. He ended up falling through the portal instead, ending up in some far off place known as This World.
