A vast bridge leading from lookout post to look out post. There’s a giant square platform in the middle, and down at the bottom of it all is a bunch of pointy and deadly spikes.
History
The Pit is a deadly arena that was created to make Shang Tsung’s fortress as difficult to get into as possible. It is here where Liu Kang faced off with Scorpion in the original Mortal Kombat tournament and won. Upon winning, a combatant that was not expected stepped in to stop Liu Kang, his name was Reptile. Reptile was a ferocious opponent indeed but failed at stopping Liu Kang. The creature had believed to be dead, but had indeed survived the fall down, and returned later on in the following Mortal Kombat tournament. Blaze and Hornbuckle also engaged in Mortal Kombat here during the 3rd Mortal Kombat tournament.
Events:
- The stage is VERY easy to fall off.
- Sharp spikes at the bottom hurt…a lot.
- Meteor’s fall at the Meteor Storm part of the stage.
