Name of Location:
Diamond City
Game of Origin:
Wario Ware Inc.: Mega Mirco Game$
Neighboring Locations:
Mushroom Kingdom, though its an island
Bestiary:
Wario. There aren't really any monsters that live around here. Most of the inhabitants of Diamond City are human or other animal species (dogs and cats most commonly), though weird things like aliens and spirits have been known to be hanging around there too. Perhaps the worst thing to watch out for are disgruntled residents, cars... and Ashley?
Appearence:
History:
Diamond City is an urbanized island that Wario calls his own. He claims to have made it into a "sparkling gem of a metropolis". Though its original purpose seems to have been simply for leisure and as a getaway for Wario and his friends, it has grown to be a very populated and residential area for anyone to move into and live (most likely as a get rich scheme). It even contains its own urban culture (dance clubs, tv/radio channels, its own orchestra) among other things, which differ greatly from its neighbor Mushroom Kingdom.
The island itself seems to have its own rich, ancient culture, as it is home to the mysterious Temple of Form and the creatures who protect it known as Splunks.
Events:
Like the Mushroom Kingdom and Ilse Delfino locations, Diamond City is a traveling stage in which its background constantly changes and affects the battle. The players scroll across the city by moving down streets, of course avoiding any passing cars or trucks along the way. Players stop and stay to battle at these locations, for 4 turns each before being forced to move to the next one:
*Club Sugar- A steady catchy beat can be heard from outside the club. Cats that pass by or are just dancing outside can be taken and used as items (like Mr. Saturn).
*Diamond Elementary- When the players arrive, the school bell rings. This releases a stampede of small children into the field to distract and/or crush players instead of vehicles.
*Mona Pizza- Unlike the other stops, this one has various foods (pizza..maybe) for players to eat up and recover damage. Watch out for passing cars here.
*Tomorrow Hill- A shady, creepy place that is infamous for the strange events that are rumored to take place. Aliens can appear and abduct players, resulting in damage or even instant KOs if they take you with them. They might leave items or just stay to watch the fight.
*Wario's House- Another spot where strange occurances take place. Various items can be found outside along with Splunks who cause michief such as getting in your way or taking items. Watch out for passing cars here, too.
Anything Else:
"Don't get smashed by the crazy cars!"
