Heavenly and calm. It’s almost literally Heaven on Earth, as it is covered in gardens and beautiful waterfalls and pleasant homes. Temples and rivers also are everywhere, along with trees.
History:
Edenia is and always was a fertile world, and it’s inhabitants age MUCH slower than average humans would. It’s been a fountain of knowledge and great source of magic and sorcerors ever since it began. It was merged without Outoworld after being defeated and taken over in Mortal Kombat. King Jerod was the earliest known king of Edenia. His warriors had lost the Mortal Kombat Tournament ten consecutive times to the mighty ruler of Outworld, Shao Kahn. By the power of the Elder Gods, Shao Kahn was granted the power to invade Edenia. Outworld won after the war and Edenia was annexed. To make things legitimate, he forced Queen Sindel to marry him, and adopted her daughter Kitana as his own daughter, and slayed King Jerrod. After Earthrealms Defenders had finally won the Mortal Kombat Tournament 10,000 years later, Edenia had once again reclaimed independence, thanks to Princess Kitana who freed the merger keeping the two nations together. Sindel had been Queen of this place ever since, and true ruler of Edenia.
