Dr. Light's Lab: PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER (Mega)MAN!

Dr. Light just... stared for a moment at his son's condition, and actually didn't notice Nell's question for a moment. Once he did, however, he turned towards his home.

"Please, bring him this way." Thomas motioned the soldiers to follow him into his lab. This amount of damage... without Roll, HIS Roll here, he would have to use the repair capsule, which took up one corner of the room. Directing the men to put the boy robot into the machine, he closed it, and activated it, the glass cover turning opaque as the capsule began to hum.

Rush just whined quietly, sitting next to Mario, and looking up at the plumber.

The met just mreeped happily, and waddled up to Krystal, smiling up at her.

Mario watched as the soldiers carried Mega Man into the lab. With a sad sigh, the plumber began to gently pet Rush on the head, his unstableness finally passing.

"I promised I'd protect him..." he quietly mumbled to himself.

The young teen mindlessly walked in the room, staring at nothing but Mega Man in the status chamber like she was in a trance. Roll just couldn't sink to the fact that her childhood hero was here, in person ... and he knew her name. But how? HOW? Roll's head was throbbing in pain at this quizzical riddle.

But wait! Dr. Light said he had a son named Rock who was known as Mega Man. His name...was his name Rock? Please, she hoped, that he didn't knew someone named Roll too.

Now that Roll was standing close to the chamber ... Mega Man ... looked like a younger version of Rock ... HER Rock.

This was just a frightening coincidence. She just had to talk to Dr. Light about this.


While that, Data hopped on the chamber, taking a front row view of Mega Man. Something about the robot the monkey sensed was peculiar, and scanning the robot's data ... his data was too familiar.

The Master's ... Trigger Code?

When the soldiers carried Rock off, Krystal felt her duty was done for now. All she could do was wait. Then she saw Met, and picked him up smiling. "Met, im glad you came with us you cute little one." The vixen started to pet his helmet.

When Nell saw Mario down, she came up and bent down to him a little smiling. "It's an honor to meet you in person, the legendary Super Mario." The Orange Star leading lady wanted to cheer Mario up as best as she can, she can boost the morale of her soldiers, so picking up a downed plumber shouldn't be that bad.

The good doctor stood watch over the capsule, although he did cast a glance towards Roll and Data, confused by the robotic monkey's behavior. He would have to get the robot off the capsule before he reopened it.

Stepping next to Roll, he placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, his expression concerned.

"Roll, are you all right?"

Meanwhile, Rush was leaned against Mario, watching the lab.

And the Met? Very much enjoying getting petted.

Mario turned to Nell and smiled weakly.

"Heh... Thanks..." Mario mumbled, "But I'm-a not that-a legendary... I couldn't even keep-a Rock safe..."

The girl gasped when Dr. Light's hand cut her from her trance. She found herself hesitant to answer, as she just recovered from her fright. But after everything that happened ... well, she wasn't sure if Dr. Light can take anymore surprises, and especially coming from her. This one may seem a little too farfetched. But...

"Well ... well him. He just ... knew my name."

[Mage]

The fox went inside with Met in her arms, to check up on Rock.

"Ah, well you managed to bring him here right? Don't be so hard on yourself." She put her hand on his shoulder smiling. "You are quite the hero, but that doesn't mean you're invincible. Even legends can make mistakes, all the more reason we admire you."

The doctor blinked, then smiled reassuringly. "He may have mistaken you for his sister. She... looks a bit like you, actually." Thomas glanced at the capsule, his expression concerned again.

"He... took a lot of damage, it wouldn't surprise me if he had made that mistake."

"Mree!" The met chirped to itself as it was carried, seeming to enjoy it.

Mario didn't sound particularly convinced by Nell's words of comfort, but he didn't object to them either. With a shrug, Mario began to walk towards the lab, leaving the army woman and the robot dog behind.

"I should go-a see how Rock's-a doing..." he muttered to no one in particular.

"....I see..."

Yet it concerned her. This Mega Man had a sister named Roll? This was just ... too much of a coincidence. She knew, not only that she and the people of Terra were artificially created from the beginning by the Master, but also that the term Mega Man from Elysium was actually from the Mega Man she thought was just a cartoon. But even though Data gave her lost information of Terra's history, there was still barely any data about this Mega Man. How could he have been named Rock and have a sister named Roll?

Turning to a direction, like something called him, Data then bounced off the capsule, skipping out of the room.

When Nell saw Mario go inside without a word, this caused her to frown a bit. "I hope he gets better soon." She went over to Rush, petting him. "Although knowing Mario, he'll bounce back eventually."

The fox girl walked inside with Met in her arms, she looked over at Light and Roll. "How is Rock doing?" She asked, hoping for a good answer.

The doctor looked over at Krystal as she came in, again caught slightly by surprise at her appearance, but suspecting even stranger things lived elsewhere in This World.

"He'll... be alright once the capsule is finished. What happened to him?"

The met just looked around the lab as it was carried in, and let out an approving beep.

Rush just leaned into Nell's petting, letting out a quiet whine. He wasn't allowed in the lab while Rock was getting repaired.

At this time, Mario entered the lab. Upon seeing Mega Man in the repair capsule, he simply quietly shook his head.

"... ... ..."

Yeah... Mario wouldn't have been in the mood to talk, even if he had come in early enough to hear Dr. Light's inqury.

Outside, just near the Flutter where a bunch of Orange Star crew were scattering around, Professor Theo was wielding wires together, from radio systems set on a tray trolley. The radio kept broadcasting loud static with brief voices, which caught Theo's interest as he tried to clear up its receptions.

"Hm...I wonder if I'm getting a baseball signal. Oh pleeeease give me one."


But then Data, bouncing on Theo's head, landed on the systems. "Kee-kee-kee-kee!"


"Oww..." the old man moaned, rubbing his head. "You want the radio, chimp? I'm working on it, hold on."


"Kee-kee!" Data shook his head. Jumping behind the radio system, sparks flew from behind.
