Dr. Light's Lab: PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER (Mega)MAN!

Zero blinked at the spot Protoman had been standing in. That urge to cover his face was coming on stronger than ever.

"...We are on an alien planet. How could I have known they also use satellite technology similar to our own?" He groused to himself.

With a sigh, he turned back to those gathered. "My apologies, there is no time for introductions. I will be back soon if all goes well, and we can talk then."

And with that, he became a beam of light and vanished.

"Zzz... Don't forget to pick up cold cuts while you're out... Zzz..."

[Mage]

When the two robots came in and out through teleportation, it made the woman jump a little. "Wow, technology sure has leaped in bounds..." Then her radio turned on, the pulled it out quickly. "This is Nell, over...huh, it's ready? Excellent! Over." She smiled. "Pull out immediately then. Over." She hung up. "The Stormbringer is fully repaired, now it'll bring in some heavy artillery."

Krystal's stomach started to growl a bit, when Mario mentioned food again. Causing her to blush in embarrassment. "I haven't eaten all day..." Her last meal was in the Great Fox, before she went to the arena. She never did get her snack from Snack Guy.

"I'd offer you something, but I'm afraid all I have are water and military rations...you probably don't want any of that." Nell never did like the rations they have, but it was the only type of food that wouldn't spoil for the longest time and it does it's job right...sadly, it's no cuisine for a nice dinner.

"Then perhaps something could be arranged for everyone hear." The doctor said, hearing the last snippet of conversation, before casting a confused look around the room.

"Where's Rock?" Thomas asked quietly, almost to himself, until he saw the footage still on the TV screen. His expression shifted then from confusion to understanding.

"Oh... I think I understand. He's gone to help the people in that... Station Square, then?"

So has Ikki and Metabee, I bet. She solemnly thought, trying to push away those worries. Those two boys always get into trouble like that and somehow manage to come out alive.

"Dr. Light I presume?" Nae held out a hand. "I"m Nae Akihabara, granddaughter of Dr. Aki of Medabot Corporation in Space Colony Navi."

[Mage]

The commander smiled at Light. "Ah, Dr Light. I see your sons turned out alright." She was very pleased at this.

The fox just looked at Light and this Nae talk, trying to keep her stomach from growling even more. "..."

[Vize Viper]

The doctor took the proffered hand, and smiled. "I really must thank your grandfather for allowing me the use of his satellites."

He then turned towards Nell, and gave a small nod. "I... only hope they return in the same condition."

The doctor then chuckled as he glanced at Krystal. "I imagine all of you are hungry... I know I am. Perhaps I should order some take-out."

While food sounds good and all, Nae was still sickly worried about Ikki's well-being. Plus, she wasn't sure that boy will come back here. For all she knows, Select Corps will pick him up. "Thank you, doctor, but I think I should get going. I only came to get Ikki, which...uh..."


Back outside, by the Flutter, Roll desperately fiddled with every knob on her radio systems. The receiver just gives nothing but static; she couldn't lock onto Rock's frequency. "Come on, please..."

"Perhaps the systems aren't tuned to this world's satellite systems."

"AAH!!!" she jumped when that Prof. Theo just came out of nowhere. Startled, yes, but also cautious around him; he didn't make a good first impression when she and Sami dragged him away from Bass. But... "Well, this equipment does connect to satellite readings, but I wonder how Data picked up the Servbots?"

The old man grinned, moving up to the radio. "That monkey did something I never seen, but whatever he did must had worn out. I still haven't adjusted the radio's satellite programing. Let me see..."

[Mage]

She smiled at Light. "Take out sounds fantastic." Then she turned to Nae. "Oh no need to leave so soon, you could stay and chat if you want." She then walked out of the house. "I'd better check is Roll and Theo are hungry."

The vixen watched the commander leave the house, and blinked. "There she goes, she sure is carefree."

[Vize Viper]

The doctor simply shrugged, and found one of the many phones he had placed throughout his home, dialing the number for a Chinese place in Monsteropolis.

"Perhaps, but I suspect she's far more worried than she lets on." Then the phone connected.

"Ah, yes, this is Thomas Light... I'd like to make a... rather large order. Could you wait a moment?"

[AnT]

"Well, again, thank you, but I need to head back to the station." With that, Nae walked out toward the exit doors with her hovering Medabot. "So long, doctor. And do feel free to ever visit the colony. I'm sure Dr. Aki would love to share robotic knowledge and get some info about the teleportion data of yours."

[Mage]

The commander came inside the Flutter, and looked around. "Roll, Professor Theo? Would you two like some take out?" She wanted to see if they were hungry, after a hard day's work probably yes.

The female fox sat down on a chair, looking over at Mario. "I hope he wakes up in time for lunch."

Roll's attention was too distracted to the radio, she shook her hand at Nell in a 'hold on' fashion. "Mega Man?? MEGA MAN???"


As if what was happening didn't matter, Prof. Theo zipped over to Nell, with a huge grin. "Well, me dear, I haven't had take out in such a while. Do they still have Chinese?"

[Mage]

"Oh yes, I believe that's what the good doctor is ordering." She then walked past Theo and to Roll with her hands on her hips. "Come on, young lady. I know you're hungry, and overworking yourself isn't going to help you."

[AnT]

"Alright! Sweet chicken sticks, here I go!!!" in a dash that could rival Sonic, Theo blasted off for the lab doors.

Again, Roll ignored as a beaming smile plastered on her face; her eyes began to water. "ROCK!!! Thank goodness!!!....What?" Wearing a headphone, Roll adjusted the mouth-piece. "Hang on, Mega Man! I was able to develop a small transporter adjusted to switch the parts of your suit. Hold on!!!"

With a giggle mixed with sobs, Roll gave the headphones to Nell and knelt down to a bag. She searched the insides of the bag, pulling out and placing weapon parts on the floor.
