[dice=6] Once again, Data is the master of annoyance. Like with a jump rope, Data flipped over Mario's hand and neatly landed back on his belly. The monkey dance shall not be stopped! It is invincible! Except by good news from the TV. "Kee?" Hearing the excited voice from the reporter, Data bounced over to the computer console. "KEE! KEE!!" The robot monkey bounced up and down with joy, trying to get everyone's attention. [rand=92671993991982128734418330065027823479900073759808947840748695846]

The doctor, his attention caught by Data's sudden interest in the television, came over to see what was going on.

The newscast showed the red-haired anchorwoman, again, on a helicopter. Outside the copter, gold streaks zipped over the city of Station Square, like a tangled yarn. "This is Scarlet Garcia with breaking Station Square news. As you can see behind me, the threat of the hostile army of insectoid robots has passed!"A small window above her appeared, showing the heroes like Mega Man Classic and Trigger, Andy and Sami, and such. They all seemed to be looking at the sky, probably in awe. Rock Volnutt sure is. "With the help of these brave heroes, they have thwarted the main menace. But this reporter is proud to say, that our own local hero, Sonic the Hedgehog, is right now sweeping away the remainder of the moth robots as his super-powered alter ego that all us locals know and love, Super Sonic."

The news on the TV finally gave Nell relief as she smiled brightly. "Thank the hands, the battle has stopped..." Then her radio activated. "Commander Nell, mission accomplished. We finally cleared out those scum!" Said the red headed girl. "Nice work, all of you. Sami, Andy, I would like you both to stay there and wait for me." "What for?" With a small giggle, she answered: "It's a secret, Andy." With that, she switched over lines, and said: "I need a Transport Copter ready." Now that the battle is over, Krystal smiled at the TV set. Then looked over at Mario. "I'm glad it ended before he woke up. Mario's been working himself too hard."

"Kee keeeee!!!!" with a cheerful joy, Data bounced across the lab, hopping outside. "Yoooo! Chinese delivery!!!" suddenly, a person in obvious fast-food uniform waited by the large door, with a wagon of bags. They emitted a delectable scent that easily filled the lab.

Data had failed to awaken Mario, despite his constant dancing. The TV's loud broadcast didn't even make him flinch. At this rate, what could possibly wake up the tired plumber? "Zzz... Zz--- Humph... Mmm... Pasta?" Why, food, of course. After a moment of subconciously sniffing the air and taking in the aroma of the take-out, Mario's eyes fluttered open, followed by him slowly sitting up on the sofa. "Ugh... Mamma-Mia... How-a long was I-a out? And... Is that-a food?"

At the sound of the doorbell, Dr. Light headed to answer it. Once he got to the door and opened, it, he smiled at the delivery boy. "Thanks for coming so quickly."

When the food came, Nell looked over at the delivery boy. "..." She then looked back at the radio. "No hurry, of course..." Then the commander left to tell Roll and the pervy doc. When Mario woke up, the vixen came over and hugged him happily. "Mario, Sonic and the others have done it, Station Square is safe." She normally wouldn't hug just anyone, but a major victory always calls for celebration.

"Chaaa! No prob, brotha!" Of course, if the doctor were to notice, the delivery boy was a turtle...a Koopa, to be precise. Anyways, the Koopa checked the long receipt paper. "Okay, dude, that's this you ordered and that...it comes off to 20.50, brotha! Chaaaa! And the rest of this grub is on the house, dude!" "No..." The girl, meanwhile outside, kept banging on the radio system, hanging her head it sheer worry and pity. Ever since she tried to put in the Shining Laser, the system went fried. Desperately she tried to fix, as she wondered if Rock was alright. But nothing she tried was working. "Easy there, kiddo!" the old man cried, with his head and hands in the radio. He too tried to help fix the machine. "You nearly caved my head in." "Sorry..." It just felt so hopeless that Roll just couldn't bare anymore of this. Ever since she came to This World, nothing went right. Nothing! "Kee!!!" on the floor, the little robot monkey bounced around, trying to get Roll's attention. "Go away, Data..." Roll dropped her head on the radio and buried it under her arms. "KEEE!!!"

"!!!" Mario was speechless for a moment as he tried to register the fact that he was currently being hugged by Krystal. Afterwards, he quickly turned to look at the TV broadcast, watching as Super Sonic took out all the remaining troublemakers. Wasn't the last time he saw him way back during their Brawl together? That hedgehog sure liked to show up in the most random of places. No wonder they always compare him to the wind... "They-a saved the city?" Mario replied, "That's-a great! I guess... They didn't-a need me after all..." Mario seemed to sound a bit down as he said this. While he was glad that they were able to take care of it themselves while he recovered, it also made him feel... well... a bit useless. But then again, it was kinda hard to be able to do all the heroics when there were so many champions from different worlds in one place, a far cry from the Mushroom Kingdom where he was called upon for nigh every trouble. He always hoped that he'd learn to lighten his burden after spending all this time in This World, but old habits die hard... Either way, Mario quickly shook it off and turned his attention back to the second most important thing on his mind: food. "So... What's-a for lunch?"

Staring in confusion at the Koopa, the doctor finally shrugged, then payed the delivery boy, even giving him a hefty ten dollar tip. "Chinese, actually."

"Thank you very much for the meal, Dr Light." She gave a slight bow to him, showing gratitude. Then looked over at Mario. "Once we're done, what should we do? Wait for Rock or join them in Station Square?" ------------------ "There's no need to worry." spokee the blond, as she climbed aboard the ship with a large smile on her face. "The battle is over. We won, sweetheart!" She was of course talking to Roll, not Theo.

"Wha...?" A sting of hope was pounding through her worries, staring at Nell to see if she was kidding or not. "R-Really?" The robot monkey happily hopped. If Data was bouncing in delight by this news, then... Gasping in between sobs, "Oh god!!" Roll threw herself on Nell and cried on her shoulder.

Ooo... Chinese was good. Not as good as Itallian, of course, but still good. Making his way over to the food, Mario began shifting through the bags to see what caught his interest. "Hmm..." the plumber responded to Krystal's inquary as he pulled out a handful of fortune cookies, "I suppose we could-a drop-a by. If I-a couldn't help with the fight, I might as well help-a with the cleanup." Mario, his stomach quickly taking command of the rest of his body, promptly turned his attention back to the food... Oh! Chow Mein! Score!

With a nod, she agreed with Mario. The city will probably be in desperate need of help, and every little bit helps. Krystal then came to the food and sat down, silently making her choices in cuisine. ------------------- When Roll suddenly threw herself on Nell, she was slightly surprised in her mind. Of course she didn't show it at all on the outside. 'Poor thing, she's been through a lot...' Nell then returned the happiness with a hug and rub on her back, while smiling. "It's alright, everyone's alright..."
