It was another beautiful day in Smash City - birds were chirping, dogs were barking, people were fighting others ignore the last one and a lone boy walks the sidewalks of the streets.
The boy was none other than the little hero who didn't get much respect. He was Kouen, and he was watching out for anyone who was causing mischief around this part of the city. It didn't seem like there was anyone doing anything wrong, but, hey, what does he know?
Kouen came to a crosswalk. He looked both ways, left and right, and crossed the street. He made it to the other side and looked in a couple stores. They were shopping stores, with clothing, jewlery, food, electronics, books, musical instruments, the list goes on. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary...
...However, he did think he was hearing someone scream...

And he thought right. Further down the road, a pair of pink bodies could be seen rushing in his direction, one of them chasing the other one. It was Grogh and Sarge, two of the associates of the mad physicist and former university teacher Professor Wormwinkle. The poor caveworm had been terrified of the robotic apperance of a certain red-coloured alien, and the army worm had set of in a wild chase to stop the savage's untimely escape. The weird pair seemed to be attracting many strange looks from the inhabitants of the city, not really surprising when considering their odd apperances, but they paid the natives no mind at all. "Wait up Caveman!" The armyworm shouted to his primitive ally. "I said wait up!" But to his despair, the caveworm didn't stop. He didn't even slow down. He shouted back to him though, very clearly roughish in voice. "No! Me not go see red machine man again!" he shouted, and started to quicken his pace to get away from the soldier. The two of them was now in line of sight of the brown haired Kouen, would he just turn his gaze towards them, and if he didn't do something the worms would most likely continue on past him.

If it were a regular game of tag, Kouen would just ignore them. But when there was serious shouting going on between them, he felt that he had to help.
Seeing that General Slithers Sarge was after Grogh, who in turned seemed to have been scared silly by something, Kouen decided to attempt to grab the caveworm.

[dice=6] Grogh didn't see the young hero coming, and was easily caught in the middle of his escape. He felt something, or someone, take hold of him, and immediately struggled to try to get free from his capturer. [dice=6] Meanwhile, Sarge was now obviously gaining on the Caveworm, uttermost thankful for the help he got from the young boy. He drew a breath of relief, but still didn't slow down just because of that.[rand=42679711026071764219469722528197547822916537117903136686630359]

Though Grogh struggled break away from Kouen's grip, he held firmly, not letting go of him. He noticed Sarge still continuing to run towards him. Not knowing what to do, Kouen simply stood there.[rand=914139505040489979160511986759515339544734074736690244336445232]

No matter how much Grogh struggled, he just couldn't get loose. Soon, the army worm had managed to catch up with the now caught caveworm, and when he did so he immediately began by trying to catch his breath. "Wow Caveman, you're... *pant* quicker than I remember ya to be! *pant* Thanks for stopping him kid!" Sarge stood up to the kid and grabbed hold of the still struggling caveworm. He shook the worm to snap him out of his fear. "Now listen!" the soldier said to the neanderworm. "There's nothing to be afraid of! That was no robot, but an extra terrestrial! A living being, just like the rest of us, ok?" The caveworm answered with a nod. "Good! Now, what do you say about returning to the others?" This was also answered with a nod. The armyworm flashed a slight smile, and then turned towards the young Kouen. "Now kid, would you mind letting go of my friend? He's calmed down now, I promise!"

Like Grogh, Kouen simply nodded, and let him go, letting him fall down next to Sarge.

Grogh got up on his... ehm... tail? Anyhow, he got up from the ground, and dusted himself off. But as he and Sarge started to walk of towards where they came from, Sarge suddenly stopped in the middle of the road, causing Grogh to bump into him. Grogh immediately went cowering because he thought Sarge would bump his head for it, but Sarge just stood frozen in place. Grogh confusedly raised his arms a bit, watching his military companion, before he suddleny poked him in the back. A loud sigh could be heard from the soldier, and the caveworm reacted to the sargents... well, reaction, by starting cowering again.

Normally, when something he had been doing had finished, Kouen would simply walk away to another par tof the city. But now, after Sarge stopped, Kouen sensed that something was troubling him.
Kouen walked up behind the two worms, and said his first sentence on the RP "Is something wrong?"

With a nod the army worm turned back to the kid, with a pretty much embarassed look on his face. His smile from before had turned into a frown, and even though his eyes weren't visible because of the shades you could clearly see that he was looking away from Grogh. "I..." he began, hesitating to continue. Then, with a loud sigh, he completed his sentence. "I forgot to memorize where we were running, and now I don't know how to get back to the others." Grogh's expression turned from confused to an "Aah!" sort of expression, to then instantly turn worried. He began rubbing the soldier's back, as to comfort him.

Of course, Kouen did not know which direction the duo had come from, except from straight ahead. He didn't know wether he should fly upward with the worms and look for their friends or wish them good luck and continue looking for danger. Either way, he still had work to do.
After a bit of pondering, he decided to go around with them instead of wasting the energy flying.
He walked in front of them, and said "I'll help you." he started walking forward, not waiting for a reply.

Without saying a thing in answer, Grogh followed the young kid down the road. "Thanks for help us Mr... ehm... what your name?" The caveworm proceeded to ask the kid. Hey, he may be primitive, but he still has his manners. Behind the two of them, his mind clouded by thought, Sarge followed. He was still a little bit down in mood for making such a simple mistake as to forget to memorize the route in a foreign location. That was the first and prime rule of the Wormland Reconnaissance-Teams: Never forget the route! And he didn't just forget the route, no! He forgot to take notice of it because he was chasing a scared caveworm around the city. It couldn't have sounded worse than that!

"Kouen." Was all he said. He kept on walking for another little bit, but stopped and turned around when he noticed Sarge wasn't following behind them.
The boy felt sympathy for the worm, realizing that he felt down for losing track of where they came. However, he still only waited for Sarge to follow.

With a nod, the caveworm showed that he had heard the name of the young kid. And when the young Kouen stopped, so did Grogh. He also turned his head around, watching his friend Sarge still not having moved from back there. When Sarge first noticed that the two of them had stopped, he showed a slight smile. He then proceeded to slither up to the two of them, and the two worms would then follow the kid further into town.

Kouen nodded, and continued down the road.
(Time Skip)
After a bit of walking around, Kouen started asking people around the area what direction the two worms came from. Some people had no idea while some pointed in some random direction.
All-in-all, the trio were now even MORE lost.
