Moveset:
Special Moves: (Mandatory)
Standard Attack - (Inazuma Cannon)- Rai simply fires a dark orb of electricity.
Upward Attack - (R) (Inazuma Upper) A triple combo uppercut. The first roll is important, for if the foe dodges it, the last two rolls are negated. The last hit would blast the opponent away.
Downward Attack - (Bakurai Hurricane)- Rai spins around like a electric twister. This move can mostly be used as recovery.
Side Attack - (Inazuma Crash)- Rai flies at the foe with his fist. This has some great knockback power. This can also be used in the air, also for recovery.
Regular Attacks: (Optional)
(A) Standard Attack - (Renzoku Punch) Standard punch combos.
(A) Upward Attack - (Renzoku Upper) A standard, yet fierce uppercut.
(A) Downward Attack - (Rolling Knuckle) Rolling on the ground, Rai then shoot his fist up.
(A) Side Attack - (Power punch) A forced punch that delivers a cracking blow.
Aerials: (Optional)
Upward Aerial: (Leap Upper) An aerial uppercut.
Downward Aerial: (Nouten Kick) This attack almost like Sonic's falling kick, only Rai shoot straight down instead in a angle.
Smash Attacks: (Optional)
Upward Smash: (Hi Inazama Upper) The charged power gives too much weight for Rai to rise high, but his fist would make even an elephant fly.
Downward Smash: (Hammerfist Smash) Rai hammers his fist, creating a shuddering electric blast around him.
Side Smash: (Hi Inazama Cannon) While this has hardly any distance, the sheer power of the blast would blow the opponent away.
Grabs: (Optional)
Grab 1 - (Headbutt Powerpunch) From the front, when Rai grabs you, he headbutts you just enough to deliver an exploding punch.
Grab 2 - (Helicopter Spin) Much like Mario, Rai swings the foe around before tossing them away.
Final Smash:
Gourai Tempest: Slamming his fist on the ground, Rai unleashes tall pillars of electricity, which reaches above many stories. But this attack has no vertical range.
Weaknesses:
Like many 'main heroes', his weakness is his own stubbornness and lack of alertness. Rai would leap before he looks, which is how he get into many bicycle accidents, and Rai won't listen to reason when an adventure is involved.
Also, many of his attack are mostly punching attacks. While he does use some kicks, kicking moves aren't much in his department. Solike Balrog from Street Fighter he's mostly vulnerable in the legs.
Personality:
Rai is extremely stubborn yet cheerful...sometimes at the same time. Although he often rushes into things and makes mistakes, his courage in the face of outstanding odds cannot be denied. No matter how dire the situation, he always believes that he and those with him can somehow make it through.
He thirst for adventure can never be satisfied, for he always have to keep himself occupied with excitement. Being bored is like torture to him.
Likes:
ADVENTURES!!! Street fighting, ye ol rice balls, BMX riding
Dislikes:
Being picked on by Arina, being bored, veggies
Appearance:
History:
As a young boy, he was fascinated by being a hero, and having wonderful adventures...just like on TV! To live his fantasies as best as he could, Rai would explore forests, climb on mountains, or ride his bike as recklessly as possible.
But in middle school, there was a girl...a really tough and mean girl, Arina, who picked on him without reason. And fighting back was difficult for she was exceptionally skilled in fighting. Their last bout humiliated Rai to no end, that he desperately ran off to the woods from all the laughing. Running deeper and deeper until he found himself in a small lone house. There lived an old man...who was a martial arts master.
For the rest of the summer, Rai visited his old man, learning his style and fining his fighting skill. But the master always told Rai not to learn for the intention for revenge. And so Rai did, though he was able to fend off Arina's attacks with ease now. This enraged her, possibly making Arina hate him even more.
Then came the legend of the Waku Waku balls. Gathering all seven will grant you a wish(Yes, I know...). Rai used that as a catalyst for adventure, as he battled many fighters who held a Waku Waku ball, until he defeated Arina for the last ball. Using all seven, he freed the Waku Waku Fairy from her statue prison, but he also freed a strange giant ball-shaped monster known as Fernandez.
The fairy turned Rai huge to match the monster's height, and he was able to vanquish the beast for good. As a reward, the fairy would grant him a wish, but Rai was disappointed that the adventure was all over. He didn't care about a wish, he just wanted more adventure. Frankly, the fairy took that as a wish and granted him more adventure.
And the best place to have infinite adventure...This World!
