Name:
Sprout, as far as I know. I haven't completed Phantom Brave, so I may add more to this as I go along.
Game of Origin:
Phantom Brave, which was recently ported to the Wii.
Nicknames:
None that I know of, except maybe Blasphemer, the title one needs to obtain the Dark Eboreus. Best way to get it is to go kill all your friends.
Age:
Somewhere in the 70-80 range. He's old, but the Dark Power in him keeps his body fit and insanely strong.
Species:
Human, but nearly a demon from all the Dark Power flowing through his body.
Gender:
Male. Very male.
Alignment:
Neutral, honestly, as he uses evil powers, but only against evil beings...or anyone that gets in his way when he's having one of his 'episodes'.
Type:
PLEASE CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Heavyweight-
Residence:
Iviore, part of the Disgaea realm.
Personal Relationships: (optional)
Raphael (leader of the largest army on Iviore and one of the strongest fighters on the planet)- Student. (Sprout taught him everything he needed to know)
Sulpher (Demon so powerful he's practically a dark god)- ENEMY.
Occupation:
Avenger- he's out to slaughter the demons that murdered his entire family, and kinda going crazy along the way.
Moveset:
Slash- a slash of his Demon Blade, which can be in front of him, overhead, or in a circle around his body. High damage, high knockback, but fairly slow.
Lunge- Sprout charges forward with his blade in front of him, running quickly to close the distance between him and you, blocking attacks with his blade until you're in striking range. Then he plants in through your chest.
Dark Shot- Sprout points his sword at his foe and fires an orb of Dark Power at them after a moment's charging. The orb moves fast, but it's pretty obvious what he's doing, so you have time to try to run.
Punt- In case a small enemy gets too close for Sprout to get a decent hit on them with his sword, such as Kirby or Pikachu, he can slam his armored boot into them and get them away from himself and back in striking range. Plenty of knockback, fairly good damage.
Dark Step- Sprout's recovery move. Does no damage, but gets him back on the stage (or across it, or behind you) with a quick teleport.
HP:

LP:
Final Smash:
Dark Eboreus- Anyone with dark power or an Evil alignment is absorbed into Sprouts sword in a dark flash. Think of it like Tabuu's insta-kill waves. If he manages to absorb anyone, his attacks are stronger, and he's faster. However, for fairness' sake the Master Hand has made it so that other smashers are 'spit back out' after a while, considerably weakened, while Sprout keeps most of the power boost.
Weaknesses:
Physical- Sprout is a tank. This means he's slow, and terrible at jumping. His moveset is focused on defeating single opponents with overwhelming power, so taking him down usually involves several people fighting him. He's slow, and only has one ranged attack, so long-ranged fighting is best. Do your best to stay away and he won't be able to do much unless he Dark Steps to you.
Mental- Sprout is out for revenge against a specific demon. That is his entire life. Get him angry, remind him of Sulpher, or otherwise infuriate him, and his attacks will be much worse, but he'll leave gaping holes in his defenses. Use this to your advantage, if his assault doesn't tear you apart.
Personality:
Sprout is a deep, quiet man on his good days, an inward soul that misses his murdered loved ones. On his much more common bad days, he's a killing machine, and you are in his way. Sprout rarely stops to think about the past, too busy analyzing and tearing through the nearly constant battles he fights. You won't see much of Sprout's personality, as that would require he drop his guard. He's usually gruff, rude, and tends to ignore people, busy with he quest for vengeance.
Likes:
Killing demons. Finding leads on Sulpher.
Dislikes:
You. And anything else that gets in his way.
Appearance:
Sprout is, size-wise, head and shoulders over Ike and Ganondorf. He's huge. His sword has a lot of reach, enough to strike someone two platforms above him, but he's still very, very slow. Consider yourself lucky, and hope he doesn't use his Dark Eboreus. He gets a LOT faster if he's just absorbed some Dark Power.
History:
Sprout was one of the nine greatest warriors on the oceanic world Iviore, the greatest of these nine 'swords' in fact, and he taught the current leader everything young Raphael knows. He's not one of the nine now because he's forsaken his duties as one of the Nine Swords of Iviore, and he wields a demonic blade instead of his holy sword. What brought such a glorious man to such a drastic change? The demon Sulpher. Sulpher and his minions destroyed Sprouts family, every last one of them, and Sprout's been out for revenge ever since. Eventually, after many years of questing, he found the demon king on Evil Island and challenged him, but over his quest the Dark Eboreus he used to gain power drove him to madness, and a Chroma by the name of Marona and her phantom friends were forced to defeat him in order to have a shot at sending Sulpher back to the realm of demons. They succeeded, and as far as they knew Sprout died, but in reality he was, like his enemy, sent to that warped realm between all worlds, and a strange, twitching hand twice Sprout's size healed him and set him on a new world, the Smash World, and he's damn sure that Sulpher's hiding somewhere in this world...
Anything else? (Optional)
"Blasphemy incarnate, DARK EBOREUS!"
I'll assign buttons to the moves and whatnot another time, probably once I feel I know more about Sprout.
