This isn't directed at anyone, this is just to solidify a new rule we have to keep better track off. Some players haven't quite been seeing eye to eye at times, leading to some unnecessary arguments. But I want everyone to know that this is a board for FUN, not a war between player against player. When one player isn't having fun, it defeats the purpose of the rp.
What I mean by respect is, you don't have to be in love with your fellow player, just meet them half way and respect their wishes. If they put up a rule saying "Please ask before joining X Thread" and they turn you down, DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY. It's not because they hate you or anything, they may feel it clashes with the already in progress plot. If this happens, simply get together with another player and plan your own project. Preparation and keeping in touch with the players is key, teamwork will only make everything all the better.
On that subject, I would also like to state that the majority of the players operate on AIM,. It's not mandatory, but I feel it's easier to get in contact with other players this way. We're a good bunch, so friendships aren't difficult to find around here.
