Morrigan Aensland
Game of Origin:

Age:
Born 1678... you do the math.
Species:
Succubus (Aensland clan)
Gender:
Female
Alignment:
Neutral
Residence:
Aensland Castle, Scotland (Makai Realm equivalent)
Personal Relationships: (optional)
When Morrigan was born, her adopted father Belial separated her soul thriceways so as to protect her and all round her from her dormant S-class powers as a darkstalker. He left one part with Morrigan and kept another within himself. The third part was sealed away in a sealed realm, never to be discovered until after Belial's death and Jedah's rise to power within his own family. Unsealing the third part of Morrigan's soul, Jedah discovered that it had a will of its own and a desire to return to Morrigan's body more than anything in the world.
Jedah gave this soul fragment a temporary body; the soul desired to look like Morrigan so Jedah created a succubus body similar to that of its original vessel and gave the soul the name Lilith. With Lilith doing Jedah's work of finding Morrigan and completing her soul, Jedah then intended to kill Morrigan and absorb it, making him far stronger.
When Morrigan and Lilith encountered one another, Lilith's ever-weakening body could not be compensated for by her desperation to return to her original body, nor Lilith's reckless embrace of her succubus powers. Beaten and broken on the floor, Lilith realised Jedah's double-crossing her and prepared herself for an oblivion which never came. In her narcissism, Morrigan took pity on this fragment of herself and brought it back lovingly into her own body.
Finally reunited with her original body, Lilith and Morrigan are now one entity, though still not as powerful as they could have been had the third part of Morrigan's soul not died with Belial. Lilith now attempts to guide Morrigan's actions away from her responsibilities as a Makai noble, and happily helps her out whenever the succubus is called to battle or brought to a choice that involves giving into her instincts as a succubus.
A fellow member of Makai nobility and a contender to the Makai throne in Belial's death, the vampire Demitri is an A-class darkstalker and head of the Maximoff family which has rivalled the Aensland family for countless ages. Though she sees him as an enemy and a threat to the position granted to her by her adopted father, Morrigan has strong desires for Demitri both sweet and bitter. Her love and hatred and mixed together into something dark and twisted as befits a darkstalker.
Occupation:
Noble (Ruler of the Makai Realm)
Moveset:
Aside from her special moves, Morrigan also has a unique move called the "Vernier Dash" which transforms the bat wings on Morrigan's back into a mini-jetpack and rockets her horizontally or vertically in an air dash. This increases her aerial maneuverability and makes her a tough combatant in the air. This also gives her an effective recovery move.
Special Moves: (Mandatory)
Standard Attack - Soul Fist
Morrigan sends out a projectile shaped like a bat surrounded with soul energy. Can also be performed in the air, where it comes down at a steep angle, pushing her upwards slightly so that multiple projectiles can be thrown while suspended in the air.
Upward Attack - (R) Shadow Blade
One of Morrigan's back-wings transforms into a curved blade and she soars into the air leaving a trail of silhouettes, performing a fast uppercut move. Can also be done in the air, catching the opponent with an anti-air attack.
Side Attack - (R) Valkyrie Turn: Morrigan's back-wings change into jet thrusters and she speeds quickly past the opponent before transforming her wings into a sharp drill-like shape and soaring backwards, colliding into whoever is in her path. Can be cancelled in mid-flight on the forward trajectory so that she simply boosts herself forwards past the opponent instead.
Downward Attack - Darkness Illusion
Morrigan counters an attack made by the enemy by firing her jet thrusters and slamming herself into them to stun them temporarily, and then follows up by creating a doppleganger copy of herself on the other side of them. Together, they deal a fast flurry of attacks to the opponent before the doppleganger fades away.
Grabs: (Optional)
Grab 1 - Vector Drain: Morrigan grabs the opponent, and rockets into the air while holding them in an embrace, before smashing them head-first into the ground. Can also be performed in the air to catch airbourne opponents.
Grab 2 - Cryptic Needle: Morrigan extends her arm, and one of her back-wings coils about it into a long appendage which stabs into the foe and sends a spark of soul power into them.
Final Smash - Soul Eraser
Morrigan's bats fly close to their mistress and shape themselves collectively into a massive laser cannon complete with sniping scopes, revolving guns and two orbiting satellites. Giving Morrigan a moment to take aim, this otherworldly weapon shoots a massive beam horizontally. Anyone caught in the beam's path suffers incredible amounts of damage.

Side Taunt - Morrigan's wings transform into a swarm of bats which carry her into the air where she sits suspended in a floating cross-legged pose while looking down at the opponent with amusement.
Weaknesses:
Morrigan is both extremely vain and overly confident in her abilities (which have been somewhat "balanced out" in This World). She lives for little more than the excitement of battle, and finds it difficult to fully accept her responsibility as the inherited ruler of the Makai realm.
The succubus race are known for absorbing the spirit of the opposite sex and uses it as their own energy source, but the succubi that live in the Aensland family have different means of sustenance. They create a special secretion liquid in their body when they are either physically or mentally stimulated. They use this liquid to maintain their life. If one were to be trapped inside a small secluded area, she would die within two days due to the lack of stimulus.
Personality:
As a creature that survives on stimulation, Morrigan lives for the pleasures of the moment. She strove to experience every feeling and emotion that the human world could offer her, now that she has been brought to This World, Morrigan's doubling her efforts.
Confident, selfish, vain, occasionally cruel and always darkly seductive, Morrigan may be called many things given that she is a darkstalker, but she is not evil. She's just always out to satisfy her own hunger, shirking her responsibilities as mistress of the Aensland family and ruler of the Makai Realm. While her soul was separated into three, Morrigan struggled with her duties and often snuck out into the human realm to escape away from the drudgery of Makai courtly life. When Belial died, and Morrigan learned that it was essentially her fault that it had occurred, she became adamant that she would become the ruler she was expected to be but as Lilith - an immature, irrational and dangerous part of Morrigan's soul reunited with her, her lust for life was reinvigorated and once again she has accepted life as a hedonistic pleasure-seeker, embracing this opportunity to escape from the Makai Realm, her fun undisurbed for the rest of her dark days.
Likes:
Herself, Physical and mental stimulation, Passion, Tasty dreams, Demitri Maximoff (powerful and easily-angered - her kind of guy)
Dislikes:
Boredom, Responsibility, Commitment, Conformity, Ugliness, Prudishness
Appearance:
Morrigan appears as a beautiful, seductive woman with long, light green hair, green eyes (occasionally turning gold) and a swarm of otherworldly bats surrounding her like an aura. It is said that these bats are, in fact, the souls of men she has consumed over three centuries. Morrigan commonly reshapes these bats into bat-like wings on her back and crowning her own head, as well as jet-thrusters, spikes and blades when attacking her enemies, as well as using them to shield herself from enemy attacks.
History:
Morrigan Aensland, adoptive daughter of the Makai King Belial Aensland and successor to the Throne of Makai when Belial passed away. Morrigan was born with great powers as an S-class Darkstalker, but her body was far too young to contain them and she would have eventually exploded, taking the entire Makai universe with her. Belial was aware of this, and split Morrigan's soul into three parts; one part he kept within himself, one sealed away in a hidden land of Makai and the rest kept inside Morrigan. Belial took Morrigan as his daughter, as he had no heir to the throne. It came to light that the part of Morrigan's soul gradually weakened Belial and eventually killed him, making Morrigan the new ruler of the Aensland clan.
Also, shortly after, the Vampire Savior, Jedah Dohma, resurrected himself from his death 100 years ago after being tricked by his servant Ozomu into absorbing many more souls than he was able to digest at one time, and exploding. What Ozomu didn't know was that Jedah was immortal and able to piece himself back together in 100 years. Jedah, being a bigger backstabber than Ozomu and planning to get his revenge in his century long slumber, tricked Ozomu into thinking that Jedah misunderstood Ozomu and felt pity. Ozomu, drowning in his own guilt was unaware Jedah held his scythe right above his head. Jedah also had a hatred for Belial, because he didn't agree on his way of ruling the universe. Jedah was forced to obey him, since Belial was the only one capable of killing Jedah permanently. Hearing of Belial's death Jedah hoped to rule over Makai, but with Morrigan in his way it would not be as easy as he expected. Jedah studied Morrigan, and learned of the power she possessed as a newborn and what happened to it. Jedah, being the cunning creature he was, no longer looked at Morrigan as an obstacle, but as food for his own sustenance. Unsealing the part of Morrigan's soul Belial hid away, Jedah was surprised to see this part of Morrigan had a will of it's own, and desired to return to Morrigan's body more than anything.
Jedah gave the part of the soul a temporary body; the soul desired to look like Morrigan so Jedah created a succubus body and gave the soul the name Lilith. With Lilith doing Jedah's work of finding Morrigan and completing her soul, Jedah then intended to kill Morrigan and absorb her soul, making him far stronger.
As Morrigan and Lilith encountered one another they fought viciously until Lilith collapsed in exhaustion, her physical form fading and weakening over time without the strength of her original body, Morrigan's body, to maintain her existence. Picking up Lilith's limp, almost lifeless form, she sensed Lilith desperate need for her and Morrigan took pity on this fragment of her own soul, welcoming it back into her body.
Newly invigorated with power and a generally brighter, more energetic outlook on life, Morrigan's thoughts towards the Makai throne all but evaporate with Lilith's childish succubus essence merging with her soul. After a night of revelry, Morrigan lays herself down to sleep and awakens in another world...
