Dhalsim uses special abilities in battle, such as Fire, Transvection and Teleportation.
Standard Attack - Yoga Flame
A Fire Breathing attack. Dhalsim sprays his opponent with fire, and can continue to do so for three rounds. After the third round it will slowly disappear, only using a 3-sided die for the fourth round should he still be doing it.
Upward Attack - Yoga Float
Dhalsim jumps into the air, crosses his legs in Lotus position, and starts to float using Transvection. He can't attack while floating, but he can stop floating and attack at any moment he wish.
Downward Attack - Yoga Teleport
Dhalsim enters a Yoga stance, and disappears. He would later reappear at a nearby location of his choice, mostly right by his opponent, ready to deal a powerful strike.
Side Attack - Yoga Fire
Dhalsim will launch Fireballs at his opponents. He can launch a maximum of three Fireballs/post.
Regular Attacks: (Optional)

Standard Aerial - Kick
He delivers a simple kick in front of him.
Upward Aerial - Stretched Kick
Dhalsim kicks vertically while stretching his leg. This gives him great range,
Downward Aerial - Drill Kick

Backward Aerial - Jumping Heavy Kick
Also while airborne, he sends a heavy kick back downwards, towards a point on the ground behind him.

Downward Smash - Yoga Roundhouse

Grabs
Grab 1 - Yoga Catch
Dhalsim stretches his arms and attempts to grab his opponent. If he catches someone he pulls them to him and can throw him away either by slamming his opponent's head into the ground behind him, beneath him, in front of him or by kicking him into the air.
Grab 2 - Yoga Grab (R)
While airborne and outside of a cliff or something, Dhalsim can stretch his arm and attempt to grab a ledge or the like. This only works while airborne.
Taunts:
Upward Taunt - Stance
He stands in the Vrksāsana pose, or Tree Pose in English. He then stands in normal position again.
Downward Taunt - Waiting
Dhalsim enters lotus position and starts floating in midair. He soon lands on his feet again however.
Side Taunt - Taunting
He smiles at his opponent, while flames are licking the edges of his grin.
Final Smash - Yoga Inferno
Dhalsim draws a huge breath, and sprays an enormous amount of flames and fire around himself, torching any opponent hit by it. Due to intense focus of mind, he wont feel the harm of any attack landing on him during this attack. It lasts for three rounds, and uses two 8-sided dice/round and attacker.
Other Abilities:
Besides the ability to stretch his limbs, breath fire, teleport and float, he can also read minds, sense evil, and alter his weight from light as a feather to 100 kg, twice his normal weight of 50 kg.
Weaknesses:
Even though being able to stretch, increasing his range a lot, he's neither quick nor sturdy. If you can just get past his attacks he is an easy pray for any hunter.
As a strongly believing pacifist, he'd do about anything in his power to stay out of fighting if possible, and even if he would have to fight he'd try to end it as quick as he could. If someone were to point this fact out he would probably easily get careless, and do a stupid mistake or two.
Personality:
Even though battling in several of the World Warrior Tournaments, Dhalsim is actually a pacifist. He doesn't believe in combat as a good use of ones body, something that could be found odd in this world, and fights for the sole reason of helping his village with the prize money and defeating evil, even though he knows that it contradicts his heavy pacifist believes. This makes conflicts rage within his mind as he ponders if he really should use the peaceful techniques of Yoga in battle, seeing as Yoga is to help people find inner peace and not scars and bruises. He knows that his strength in battle may one day turn him evil himself if he isn't careful with it, and thus he prefers to avoid battle if possible. But even though his inner conflicts, he never questions the track that fate puts him on, which is the reason for the many tournaments he finds himself in.
In his home village he is known for several features: Skill, Selflessness, Helpfulness and Generosity. And they wouldn't say so if it weren't true. He's always seeking ways to help other people, those in need of assistance or a helping hand.

Appearance:
Dhalsim stands at a height of 5'10", about average human height. His head is completely bald, and he is often depicted having pupil-less eyes. His build is that of a normal man who exercises and regularly trains with weights, except for his abdomen and waist which appear much out of proportion and emaciated. He wears torn saffron shorts as his only clothing attire as well as saffron wristbands and anklebands, and a turban which he removes before every battle. He has three colored stripes adorning his head, and the skulls he wears around his neck are those of village children that died during a plague, for which he prays their spirit will taken good care of.
History:
Dhalsim is a hindu priest, living in a secluded village in the jungles of Kerala, India. He takes care of this village, helping and protecting them in times of danger, and sees to it that the gods don't let their wrath fall upon the villagers. He entered the World Warrior Tournament for two reasons: First of all to win money for his village to buy food and medicine with, amongst other products of need. Secondly he fights to face M. Bison, or Vega as he's also known, the Evil leader of the Shadaloo organization, to ultimately put an end to his evil plans.
After the defeat of M. Bison in the World Warrior Tournament, Dhalsim withdrew from battle, permanently he believed. He left his safe home for a journey of self forgiveness, to help people in need to purify his soul from his sins. However, he soon enough finds himself invite to yet another tournament, the World Warrior EX Tournament. He saw this as fate leading him on the way it had chosen for him, and decided to accepted it. He arrived to the Sign In Booth as a late entry though, and nearly was left out of it because of that. He battled, lost to one of the other fighters, and left to wait for the coming tournament.
As he knew he would be, he were invited to the next tournament as well. Here he is arranged to fight a fearsome fighter from Brazil, Blanka. When Dhalsim sees Blanka for the first time, he is surprised to find a child-like wonder in the eyes of what otherwise appears to be a gruesome beast. Dhalsim holds back a bit of his power and invites Blanka to hone his skill in combat against Dhalsim. At the end of the fight, Blanka is surprised to receive Dhalsim's hand in congratulations for a wonderful fight. At that point, Blanka gains instant admiration for a fighter who didn't dismiss him on the basis of his looks. After that fight he continues with the rest of the tournament, ending up in fourth place all in all.
On the arrival of the invitation to the third battle, Dhalsim is horrified to find it a Tag Team Tournament. Wondering who he could choose for a partner, not really knowing anyone in his village who could stand up to the powers of the World Warriors, he is suddenly pounced by the green beast he knows as Blanka, a friend from Brazil. When asking how Blanka, a primitively living fighter from Brazil, had managed to get to the jungles of India he got a quite amusing answer: Blanka had lifted with an airplane by hanging on to the tail of it, only to ask Dhalsim to fight together with him in the Tag Tournament, as his partner. Dhalsim happily accepts, and the two of them manages to finish second place.
After a great celebration in Dhalsim's village, the two friends part ways once again, Blanka returning to his jungle in Brazil. Night falls, and the village goes to sleep. They wake up, and another day sprouts.
However, this time something stood out of the usual. One of the Snake-Skin Hunters had been bitten by a highly toxic snake, and was in dire need of healing. Dhalsim rushes to the place, as he is the village healer, but to his defeat finds that the poison has gone to far, and that their friend won't survive. To the entire village's surprise, instead of giving in to the final sleep, the hunter is enveloped in a bright light, and transformed into what appears to be a trophy. In full fright, the village panics, everyone returning to their homes and afraid to leave... everyone except Dhalsim that is. He stays behind with the hunter, examining the trophy in every single way, and manages to revive him by accidentally nudging the base of the trophy with his elbow. The warrior awakes, in horrible pain, but is otherwise as healthy as he had been earlier.
Knowing something was horribly wrong, Dhalsim told his villagers that he would investigate the strange occurrences, and ran into the jungle following the small dirt road. Much to his expectations, the road suddenly ends, and the part of the jungle that lies beyond it is completely different from the one around his village. He realized something: They were not in Kerala anymore.
Anything else?
Entrance:
He enters a stage by teleporting in, before removing his turban by ripping it off and throwing it in a pile by the edge of the scene of combat.
