Character Stats:
I feel bad for leaving it all out, but...
Residence:
The Phazon Crater
Personal Relationships:
None... absolutely none. Formerly Omega Ridley, but he was saved from the Phazon Curse when Phaaze exploded.
However, she has control over Phazon beings known as Phaazoids, creatures made out of pure Phazon energy, as well as different strings of Phazon Metroids and other Phazon Corrupted beings.
Occupation:
"Samus-related" Bringer of Phazon
Moveset:
Phazon
Phazon is a highly radioactive, extremely mutagenic, semi-sentient and self-reproducing substance, also known for its powerful energy producing properties and incredibly efficient spreadability. It is solely responsible for the near-destruction of several worlds, including the Chozo planet of Tallon IV and the Luminoth planet Aether, which both suffered devastating effects when the Phazon arrived to the planets.
Phazon spreads through the use of Leviathans, living meteors of Phazon. Leviathans travels from Phaaze and out into the universe, spreading the corruption of Phazon and strengthening its grip on the universe. The impact from a Leviathan can cause different kinds of reactions on the targeted planets. Examples are: Tallon IV, which got its entire ecosystem poisoned and devastated by Phazon Poisoning, and Aether, which was divided into two different dimensions by the impact of the meteor.
Long time exposure to Phazon may have lethal effects on a creature. Most beings are exterminated by the radiation, but some go through both bodily and mental mutations, leading to several different types of poisoning. However, they always suffer a great risk to get a mental breakdown known as Phazon Madness, which will be further described below.
There are several types of Phazon, even though only two types will be seen in this RP: Blue and Orange Phazon.
Blue Phazon is the weaker kind, and also the most regular. This is the kind that is seen infecting fungus, stones, creatures, and so on. This is the usual mutagenic substance for Phazon Mutants.
Orange Phazon is much more potent than the blue kind, and will almost only appear in the Chamber of the Leviathan. It's mutagenic abilities are far exceeding that of Blue Phazon, and its several times more radioactive.
Phazon appears in two forms: Ore and Liquid. Phazon Ore appears as veins of glowing, blue or orange semisolid substance, with crystal-like sacs of the same colour appearing every now and then. Phazon Liquid appears as a gel-like substance, much more darker in colour. The darker colour signifies the purity of the Phazon, being more pure the darker the colour. And it all sparks as well.
Phazon in SSB RP
In this RP, standing in an area of Phazon will not cause any kind of mutation to the Smashers. However, it will hurt them greatly, as well as instantly trophytize them if they stay in the Phazon for too long.
Phazon Poisoning
Phazon Poisoning is the common name for all types of Phazon effects. Such effects include Phazon Mutation and Phazon Madness.
Phazon Mutation
Phazon Mutation is when a being is mutated by the exposure to Phazon. Such mutations are highly variable, but the most common changes are:
Phazon Madness
A mental illness, caused by exposure to Phazon radiation. This condition drives the subject closer and closer to a mental breakdown, and the victim also shows signs of increased aggression, memory loss, madness, and a constant hunger for more Phazon. Sentient beings will also lose more and more of their ability for cognitive thought.
Phazon Effect
Below you will see something called the "Phazon Effect". This is an effect I added due to Dark Samus' power over Phazon, and it means that every second HP that the victim loses during three rounds after it is hit by a Phazon Effect is sent to Dark Samus, refilling her own HP.
Special Moves:
Dark Samus' arsenal is made out of really strong attacks, most of them adding the Phazon Effect when they hit a target.
Standard Attack - Phazon Shards (P)
Dark Samus aims her Arm Cannon at her opponent, and fires. Out from it emerges shards of pure Phazon, a highly radioactive substance which have until now believed to be eradicated. If a shard hits a target, the target gets the Phazon Effect added to them for three rounds. However, if the shard hits an object a layer of Phazon will spread from it in a 1 meter diameter area. The Phazon damages all non-phazon beings which stands in them for 1 HP/2 Rounds and heals all phazon beings for 1 HP/2 Rounds.
Dice: 6 VS 6 + Phazon Effect
Upward Attack - Dive Bomb (R)
Dark Samus launches herself into the air, and then dives right down into the ground at high speed. This move is highly destructive, taking away 2 HP per hit, and it has a great range, but if it doesn't hit a target it means Dark Samus loses one HP due to the heavy impact. When she hits the ground, an area of with a 1 meter radius around her will be covered by Phazon.
Dice: 7 VS 6, 2 HP Damage or 1 HP Loss
Downward Attack - Boost Ball
Dark Samus enters Morph Ball mode, and starts charging a Boost attack. Every charge adds one to her Attack Dice, expressing the gain of speed she gets with each charge. It has three charge levels, including uncharged.
Dice: Uncharged = 6 VS 6; Charge 1 = 7 VS 6; Charge 2 = 8 VS 6
Side Attack - Phazon Missile (P)
Dark Samus launches a Phazon powered Super Missile. It's much stronger than a normal Super Missile, and if it hits a target it adds the Phazon Effect for three rounds. However, it always flies in a straight line, and thus can't maneuverer out of the way of an obstacle or to follow an enemy. If it hits an object, a two meter radius area of Phazon will spread from the site of impact.
Dice: 6 VS 6 + Phazon Effect
Regular Attacks:
Basically, Dark Samus attacks with a barrage of punches and kicks.
(A) Standard Attack - Punch, Punch, Whack
She makes a double punch with her left fist, and then whacks her opponent on the head with her Arm Cannon.
(A)Upward Attack - Energy Twist (P)
She induces Phazon Energy into her hand and swipes above her, striking any enemy who may be there. She can continue this three times due to the damage from the radiation.
(A) Downward Attack - Spinning Swipe
She drops and spin kicks to take her opponent down.
(A) Side Attack - Cannon Jab
She jabs her Arm Cannon into an opponent.
(A) Running Attack - Cross Tackle (P)
She crosses her arms in front of her and thunders straight into her victim while Phazon Energized. This attack adds the Phazon Effect to a hit victim.
Aerials: (Optional)
Yet more kicks and punches.
Standard Aerial - Air Whack
Dark Samus whacks her opponent on the head with her Arm Cannon.
Upward Aerial - Discharge (P)
Dark Samus charges her hand with Phazon, holds it up above her, and discharges it. This damages her opponent as well as adding the Phazon Effect.
Downward Aerial - Second Discharge (P)
She once again charges her hand with Phazon energy, but points it downwards. She then discharge her hand and damages any opponent below her, as well as giving them the Phazon Effect.
Forward Aerial - Collar Kick (M)
She spins, now facing the ground, and kicks her opponent in the collar with a powerful kick. This attack send the enemy flying into the ground quickly.
Backward Aerial - Kick Behind
She kicks an opponent behind her, causing damage and falling.
Smash Attacks:
Dark Samus uses the powers she gained when absorbing Rundas, Ghor and Gandrayda.
Upward Smash - Phazon Jab (P)
She energizes her Arm Cannon with Phazon, and jabs her opponent with it. This adds the Phazon Effect to the hit victim, as well as sending them flying.
Downward Smash - Dark Swipe (P)
Her left hand is charged with Phazon energy, and she then swipes low with it. This attack also gives her enemy the Phazon Effect.
Side Smash - Energy Blast (P)
Her Arm Cannon is once again energized, but now she points it towards her target and makes it blow in a shower of Blue sparks. This adds the Phazon Effect to a target.
Grabs:
She grabs using a Phazon charged Grapple Beam.
Grab 1 - Phazon Grapple Beam (P)
She shoots out the Grapple beam, and if it hits an opponent she will pull it towards her. She can then attack by sending pulses of Phazon energy into her enemy, or send the bastard flying with a powerful Phazon Discharge.
Taunts:
Upward Taunt - Stance
She raises her left hand, which will start to spark with blue Phazon energy.
Downward Taunt - Waiting
Her suit will start pulsating Phazon Blue for a while, before calming down and finally stopping, returning to its original state.
Side Taunt - Taunting
She will hit the screeching-stance, and let out a primal Metroid screech.
Final Smash - Phazon Discharge
Dark Samus floats into the air, while blue energy sparks around her. It gets more and more intense, until suddenly it explodes from her in a firework of Phazon energy. Everyone hit by it will be damaged 1 HP and Phazon Corrupted for three rounds, and after that they'll fall under the Phazon Effect for three more rounds. The Phazon Corruption is a more powerful variant of the Phazon Effect, transfering EVERY HP the victim loses to Dark Samus instead of just every second, refilling her own HP.
Weaknesses:
Like all Metroids, Dark Samus too has a heavy weakness against cold and ice. Beyond that, she is to sure of her own powers, underestimating of her opponents,
Personality:
She's evil, self-righteous, underestimating, self-confident, corruptive, manipulating, and everything else that makes a typical bad-guy. She greets strangers with disinterest, she greets friends with hostility, and she greets enemies with hostility. But other than that she is pretty much simple-minded, not caring bout much other than spreading her power through the universe. There is however one thing she enjoys: Defeating her enemies.

History:
Metroid Prime
Dark Samus was born after Samus' adventures in Metroid Prime. After destroying the outer shell of Metroid Prime and defeating its core form, Samus saw as the metroid transformed into an odd Blob-looking shape. Tentacles will come out of it, reaching for Samus and all sources of Phazon in the cavern. It grabs her, and removes all traces of her Phazon Suit and all other sources of Phazon in a general vicinity and explodes, in an effort to collapse the cavern and crush Samus with it. However, she made it out in time, and it seemed that the phazon crazed Metroid Prime was finally dead. However, that wasn't the case at all. Due to the massive amount of highly mutagenic phazon, the remains of the Metroid fused with the DNA of Samus that still remained in the absorbed Phazon Suit, using it as a new outer shell, and created the Phazon being Dark Samus. She was now stronger, faster, and able of Space Flight, generally more powerful than she was while being Metroid Prime - and she still remembered the miserable defeat she faced at the hands of Samus Aran, and was hungry for revenge.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
In her new Chozo-based shell, overall more menacing than her current, she left Tallon IV out of instincts commanding her to absorb and spread Phazon throughout the galaxy. Eventually she discovered the planet Aether, which 50 years prior had been hit with a Phaaze Leviathan which split it in two dimensions, one light and one dark. She landed on the planet and started absorbing any Phazon she could find.
Prior to her arrival, Space Pirates had established a base on the Planet. She didn't give them no mind, but she still interfered with their plans by attacking their research bases in order to absorb all Phazon within, and freeing all the trapped Metroids within the facilities. This utterly confused the Space Pirates, seeing as Samus usually would destroy both them and the Metroids, instead of mostly ignoring them and liberating all of the Metroids. However, due to her forceful nature they started calling her the Dark Hunter.
Eventually, Samus was sent to Aether by the Galactic Federation, to investigate what had happened to a team of Marines that had landed on the planet while pursuing a Space Pirate frigate. She and Dark Samus faced each other in the Marine Base on Aether, the first time Samus ever encountered her dark counterpart. Dark Samus left through a Dark Portal, into the poisonous world of Dark Aether, and Samus followed suit. There, our dark villainess fired at the Light Crystal the Luminoth put there as protection from the dark atmosphere, exposing her to not only the poisonous air but also the brutal Ing that was watching the two of them. They stole her equipment and sent her fleeing back to Aether, leaving Dark Samus to do her work in peace.
The second time they met occurred some time later, within a Space Pirate base in the Agon Wastes. This was also the first time Samus engaged her dark replica, and ultimately bested her in battle. Dark Samus collapsed, disintegrated into Phazon particles, and disappeared. Was this the defeat of her?
Not at all! The Phazon particles that Dark Samus had earlier transformed into made its way to Torvus Bog. Dark Samus regained her Phazon-suit form in front of her nemesis, laughed at her, and disappeared. She reappeared again outside of the Sanctuary Fortress, destroying the bridge leading to it and then disappearing yet again. This forced Samus to find another way to cross the chasm.
Next time the two Hunters would meet, Dark Samus was facing of with a platoon of Dark Pirate Troopers, confirming that she didn't stand on good terms with the Ing. The troopers were destroyed, and Dark Samus proceeded to absorb Phazon from nearby canisters. The two female warriors battled yet again, and Dark Samus faced yet another embarrassing defeat. She fell off the top of the elevator they battled on and disintegrated.
Their last fight in Dark Aether was after Samus' battle with the Emperor Ing, while she was on her way back to Aether after having absorbed the last of Aether's stolen planet energy. Samus fled Sky Temple and moved towards the exit, but was cut off from it by Dark Samus, who forced the Hunter to battle her once again. All the Phazon Dark Samus had absorbed had started deteriorating, revealing her energy-based organs and three eyed face, reveling her origin from Metroid Prime.
They faced off in their greatest battle as of yet, with Dark Samus even going as far as launching pure Phazon at her nemesis, just to find it absorbed and returned to her, penetrating her Phazon Shield and causing her to destabilize, the same method that Samus used against Metroid Prime. In a final attempt to defeat the hero, Dark Samus reached out to absorb Samus' Light Suit, but our dark villainess disintegrated just before she touched it. Samus had once again won, and Dark Aether imploded upon itself, destroying the dimension as a whole, and presumed that her dark counterpart disappeared in the process. She would soon find out how wrong she was. Even though Dark Samus lacked physical form, she still existed, and would soon return to haunt the galaxy once again.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Soon after the incident at Aether, before the events of "Metroid Prime 3: Corruption", the Space Pirates returned to Aether to collect the last pieces of Phazon that remained, before the Galactic Federation took the rest of it. In their haste they accidentally collected the particles of Dark Samus, who with the use of the Phazon regained her physical form, her current appearance. She wiped out a third of the ship's Space Pirate crew, and the rest of them were brainwashed into accepting her as their leader.
Soon after, she left them. For several months she was missing, with the pirates awaiting their leader's return. When she finally returned, she had brought along with her a Leviathan, from her homeworld Phaaze. She and her pirates soon set off, on a mission to spread Phazon throughout the universe.
Her first command for them was to board the GFS Valhalla, and steal it's main computer, the organic supercomputer Aurora Unit, 313. She corrupted it with Phazon, and installed it in Phaaze, giving her control over the planet and all of its assets, including the Leviathans. The first one she sent out was aimed for the Space Pirate homeworld, bringing the remaining Space Pirates under her control as well. She then proceeded to launch three more Leviathans for three important GF worlds: Norion, with its military base; Bryyo, the Federation's main source of Fuel Gel; and Elysia, a planet with an important research facility.
While the Bryyo and Elysia Leviathans successfully impacted on the planets, she faced resistance on Norion, in the form of Samus Aran and her fellow Bounty Hunters Rundas, Ghor, and Gandrayda. However, she confronted them before they managed to fire their cannon to destroy the Leviathan, and after a brief battle she corrupted the four of them with Phazon. Believing the four Bounty Hunters to be defeated she leaves the planet, not knowing that Samus manages to fire the canon as her last action before fainting.
Most of the coming time she waits for the Marks of Corruption to take effect, forcing the four of them to succumb to the will of Phazon. Whilst Rundas, Ghor and Gandrayda all falls to Phazon, Samus remains in control of herself, and is forced to destroy her comrades. However, when one of them is destroyed, an apparition of Dark Samus appear from the body and absorbs the body, before finally leaving. This is Dark Samus absorbing the three of them, gaining their powers and abilities. She doesn't seem to use them much in battle however.
Then, when Samus finally arrives in the depths of Phaaze, Dark Samus finally reveals herself. They begin their battle, their last battle, which comes to be their greatest battle ever. After a number of hits, Dark Samus realizes that she can't defeat Samus using her powers alone, and merges with the Aurora Unit to power up a notch. However, she is still defeated, and ultimately destroyed, leading the the destruction of Phaaze as well. After that, every trace of Phazon in existence was said to be erased. Was that true?
Post Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - Non-canon
Several years have passed since that battle, and a lone Leviathan still remains in the outer rims of Space. However, with the destruction of Tabuu, and with him Subspace, a chain reaction occurs, causing Dark Samus' rebirth. The stray Leviathan was miraculously saved from the destruction of Phazon by unknown means. Dark Samus gets a rally call, and an unknown voice telling her to respawn and travel to This World, to restart the spreading of Phazon from there. She follows the new voice, and emerges within the Leviathan. She drives it forward, heading to the planet like she was earlier told. She crashes down on the planet with the Leviathan, creating the Phazon Caverns, the new home of Phazon.

Moveset:
- Dark Samus' moveset is mostly based on her power over Phazon. Some of her attacks add a Phazon Effect to the target, which is a great advantage, I admit. However, Dark Samus has only got a total of 8 HP in order to balance that disadvantage, and it is explained with Phazon Radiation.
- She has also got the ability to create Phazon, an ability she gained by absorbing the Leviathan Core while she was still Metroid Prime.
- Her second ability other than her attacks is to absorb Phazon to restore her own HP. However, if she is attacked before absorbing the Phazon fully she will not gain the HP, and the Phazon will still disappear.
- She can summon Dark Echoes from large patches of Phazon. This is her third ability.
- Her fourth ability is to fuse with machinery. She gained this ability when she absorbed Ghor after his defeat in Sky Town.
- She may have a fifth ability as well, but it is to remain and see if this is actually true. As she gained the ability to merge with machine from Ghor, she suspects that she may have got the ability to transform herself from Gandrayda, and thus be able to use her enemies' moves against themselves. She still has to find out how to use this ability however, if she even is able to.
- Another ability yet to be seen is Rundas' ability to manipulate and generate ice. As previously mentioned, she gained Ghor's main abilities, so she would only find it logical if she could also use Rundas' main ability.

Phazon is a highly radioactive, extremely mutagenic, semi-sentient and self-reproducing substance, also known for its powerful energy producing properties and incredibly efficient spreadability.
- Vast increase in mass of the subject.
- Extreme increase in hostility and strength.
- Increased predatory activity in wild bioforms, and increased aggression in sentient bioforms.
- Hightened senses and reflexes.
- Both New and Lost Abilities
- Etc...
