Being a different era from the Links and Zeldas in This World, the only one Vaati knows will be Ganondorf (Though it's unknown if the King of Evil knows him, or is aware of the Wind Mage due to the timeline) and because of the way Vaati was used as a pawn, he sees himself as Ganon's rival, though it's mostly one sided.
Because Too Link and Zelda look so much alike to Vaati's Link and Zelda, he probably have the strongest dislike against them.

Standard Attack - Wind Blade: Slices a sword with a wind following in
Upward Attack - Aerial Jump; Leaps in the air in a barrier of wind swirling around him
Downward Attack - Wind Path- Strikes the ground and erupts a pile of dust before him towards a foe or anything
Side Attack - Twister Strike: Vaati, with his sword stretch out, spins around in a twister around the stage slicing with the wind and his blade
Final Smash:
Vaati's Wrath- Transform into his one demon form and cause a major tornado on the stage, cause many parts of the stage to rise and swirl around.
Weaknesses:
he's touchy about him really being a picori, and dislike being reminded about his former size. Also being trapped in the Four Swords so long made him claustrophobic

He's a bit of a douche, and thinks highly of himself. Not wanting to believe he was Ganon's pawn on his latest evil plot, and thinks of himself as the Great King of Evil's rival,.

The origin tale of Vaati is told in the adventures that Link faced with the Minish Cap. Originally of the Minish race, Vaati was fascinated by the evil that could come from the heart of man. When his master, Ezlo, fashioned a powerful magical cap as a gift for the humans, one that could make one's wishes come true. Vaati stole the cap, transformed into a sorcerer and cursed his master into the shape of a living cap, so that he would not stop him. Then, taking human form, Vaati set out to find the means to allow him to become the greatest sorcerer the world had ever seen.
He found that means in the legends of the Light Force, a mystical magic said to bestow upon the wielder the powers of godhood. Over the course of the game, Vaati continuously sought its location, finding it in the end in the most unlikely of places, within Princess Zelda. Vaati managed to extract some of the Light Force from Zelda and transformed into a tall sorcerer form known as Vaati Reborn. Link defeated the form with the power of the Four Sword, and Vaati transformed into a demonic one-eyed black orb known as Vaati Transfigured, but was vanquished again. In his anger, Vaati transformed yet again, into a larger, more powerful version of this form known as Vaati's Wrath, but even this could not defeat Link, who sealed Vaati within the Four Sword. Zelda then proceeded to use the magical cap to restore what Vaati had done, destroying the cap in the process.

After, centuries later, the seal on the Four Swords has weaken, and when a new Princess Zelda was about to power the seal, Vaati brook free and kidnap her. Her best friend Link, had to grab the sword and split into four parts and trek to the Wind Palace and save her and seal Vaati back in the four swords.
But the tale didn't end there....
Months have passed, and a great evil was rising, Zelda and the six maidens were at the temple to power the seal once again, but an evil creature known as Shadow Link appeared and kidnap the maidens, and trick Link into freeing the evil Vaati.
All through out the adventure, the Links at first thought Vaati was the evil behind everything somehow, but it was all really Ganon who used the evil Vaati and created Dark Link from the Dark Mirror.
In the end, all three evils were defeated.
During the Subspace Emissary, there was talk among the villains and who should be recruited. Vaati was one of the candidates, but Ganondorf blew him up because he was a douche www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/428847
