Name:
Rock Light
Nicknames:
Mega Man/Rockman
Age:
18, but looks 10-13
Species:
Android (Robot Master class)
Gender:
Male
Alignment:
Good
Type:
Middle Class
Stats:
HP- 95
PP- 6
LP- 7
Residence:
Monsteropolis, a massive city. Most of Mega Man's battles take place on the city streets, making getting hit by cars a very real possibility.
Personal Relationships:
Proto Man: Being Brothers, the two of them make a dangerous team, and can predict each other's moves, mirroring each other almost perfectly.
Bass: While these two ARE eternal rivals, when forced, they will work together. Their knowledge of each other's tactics, although dangerous to each other, can thus be DEVASTATING to an opponent.
Mega Man can even be teamed up with BOTH of the other two "Bombers", creating a truly unstoppable fighting force. They become less a group of robots, and more a force of nature.
Team Smash(es):
Proto Man-Light Buster- Mega Man copies Proto Man's Buster, and begins charging both simultaneously, until both arms are glowing so brightly it's almost blinding, before he unleashes their combined power, in the form of two intertwined beams of red and blue light, on his opponent, the beam most likely, if it doesn't outright trophitize the target, blowing them off the stage.
Bass-Power Overwhelming- Mega Man Copies Bass' buster, and starts rapid-fire juggling his target, while "overcharging" his normal Buster. When it's charged enough, he then finished the job with a volley of three fully charged blasts.
Mega Man, Proto Man, and Bass-Trinity Cannon- Mega Man levels his Buster at the target, while Proto Man and Bass both aim at a spot just in front of the Blue Bomber's barrel, all of them charging up their respecting Busters. Then all three fire simultaneously, creating a beam of prismatic energy that's truly EPIC in scope, leaving his target the only option of bracing himself, because running is out of the question.
Occupation:
Robot Crime Fighter
Moveset: (R) means can be used as a recovery move.
(R)Upward Move: Rush Coil- Mega Man summons Rush, his faithful robot dog, to his side, and can then jump on his back ONCE, using a spring to launch himself skyward. He then freefalls, unable to use any recovery moves if he messed up. When used in the air, Rush appears beneath him, launching him instantly.
Standard Move: Mega Buster- Functions similarly to the Super Scope, with the following exceptions. First, the weak, rapid shots do not pass through targets. Second, charging takes longer, but can still be performed while moving, and has three levels, the second level being the same size as a Super Scope charged shot, and the third being about the size of Samus' fully charged Beam shot. And the last, Mega Man can only have five normal shots in the air at a given time, with the exception of a charge shot, which doesn't count.
(R)Side Move: Rush Jet- Mega Man makes a short hop into the air, calling Rush under him in the form of a flying board, which he then ROCKETS forward on, hopping off after a short distance (slightly farther than a Fox or Falco Illusion, but not nearly as fast). When used in midair, Rush is just summoned under him.
Down Move: Slide- Mega Man drops to the ground, and slides foreward at high speed, allowing him to go UNDER some attacks that would otherwise hit him as he moved foreward. The range of this attack is about half as far as the Falcon Kick, it's closest equivalent, but it hits with equal power, and moves faster. He also cannot use this attack in midair... for obvious reasons.
Mega Man is a really good jumper, and can jump almost three times his own height with a normal jump. His aerial jump, however, is less than HALF that height, making aerial recoveries difficult for the little robot if he's out of range of his Rush moves.
Final Smash:
Rush! Super Adapter! - Mega Man summons Rush, who transforms into a large, backpack like module. This module attaches to Mega Man, who turns red and gray, with a jet pack, and noticeably larger forearms. In this form, Mega Man can fly quickly, and his attacks are punches equal in power to a full strength Smash Attack (which he can direct any direction). This Final Smash lasts three turns.
Weaknesses:
Both of Mega Man's Rush-related moves rely on him having a clear line of sight from the sky, straight down to himself, otherwise Rush'll end up on a platform above him. Also, Rush IS vulnerable in Coil mode, so attacking HIM before Mega Man can use him will make him disappear.
Lightning. It is BAAAAAAAD. Horrifically so. Rock, when sturck by lightning attacks, will be paralyzed for one turn, as well as take extra damage.
For some bizarre reason, Mega Man also takes extra damage, in fact almost fatal amounts, from "stage hazards" such as lava, spikes, etc...
Personality:
Mega Man is a hero at heart, and is always willing to help others, and protect them. He's rarely willing to harm a human, although unlike most robots, he's fully capable of doing so.
A theme that seems to be apparent in Mega Man's character is that much like Pinocchio, he is very similar to a real boy and constantly developing into one. However, unlike Pinocchio, he does not aspire to be "real." Although Mega Man has rarely or possibly never admitted that he is in fact not a human, but rather a robot designed to look and act like a human, he may often consider himself more human than machine.
Likes:
Rush; helping people; things being peaceful; his "father", Dr. Thomas Light; Hanging out with Protoman.
Dislikes:
Having to fight; watching people get hurt, with him unable to help; having to run away from a fight once he's IN it; failing to stop Dr. Wily.
Appearance:

Super Adapter
History:
Mega Man, or Rockman, came into existence due to the following timeline of events. In futuristic year of 200X master designer Dr. Thomas Light worked to create a humanoid robot. This robot would demonstrate an advanced artificial intelligence program that would allow it to make decisions based on vague commands and directions. He called the robot project "Robot Master", because the resulting robot would be able to supervise the work of other, less intelligent machines.
Before Dr. Light ever constructed what would eventually become Mega Man, he first designed the Robot Master known as Blues, code-named Proto Man, which similar to his name was designed as a prototype of his future creations. Proto Man had the ability to lead a small squad of other robots in military applications. However, before testing of his AI, or his complete system was finished, the robot escaped and was thought to have been destroyed.
Because of the disappearance of Proto Man, Light decided to create another robot. Dr. Light, fearing that the disappearance of Proto Man was due to the fact that he didn't have a peer, he created two other robots at around the same time to work as a pair. These robots were called "Rock" and "Roll". Rock was created as Dr. Light's lab assistant. His purpose was a general-purpose tool user. Simply by studying how a tool was used, he could mimic its use using a Variable Tool System, thus making him the ideal lab assistant. His "sister" (though not actually a sister, but a robot partner), Roll, was designed for housekeeping.
With the success of these two test-type robots, Light designed and built six production-type robots, mainly to be used in the construction and maintenance of public works. These robots were Cut Man, a timber felling robot; Guts Man, a construction and excavation robot; Ice Man, a robot designed for exploration in extreme freezing temperatures; Bomb Man, a land reclamation robot; Fire Man, designed for waste management; Elec Man, designed to oversee and control atomic energy power plants; Time Man, designed to research time travel with his ability to slow down time; and Oil Man, designed for maintenance by generating oil for machinery and firing it through his arm cannon. Each of these robots had full use of the Robot Master's intelligence and reasoning potential. However, little did Dr. Light know that all of these robots including the missing Proto man would later serve as the key to unlocking Rock's destiny.
The time finally came for Dr. Light to be recognized by the world for his brilliant contributions to science. Dr. Albert W. Wily, a colleague at that time and future rival, grew jealous when his unique research, which he studied with Dr. Light, was utterly overshadowed by his partner. He stumbled upon Proto Man one day, who was dying when his energy system was malfunctioning. He repaired him, using his specifications to create the police robot, Sniper Joe. He discovered while analyzing Proto Man that he had found a way to reprogram Light's robots. He decided that he could use these new robots to exact revenge. When Dr. Wily arrived at near Dr. Light's laboratory soon after announcing his plans for world domination, he failed to realize Rock and Roll's potential, so he went to the lab without them, claiming that helper robots are as good as scrap metal to him. He took and reprogrammed the eight construction robots so they became misled and forced under his rule. With his new followers, Wily seized control of the city and demanded recognition. This string of events, set in motion, what would later become the purpose for Mega Man's existence.
Realizing that it would be very difficult for the armies to stop Wily without harming the city, Dr. Light knew something had to be done. Due to his programmed sense of right and wrong, Rock volunteered to be converted from his current state as a lab assistant into a fighting robot. Thus, from that day forth, he became known as Mega Man, although he was sometimes referred to as "Rockman".
From that day forward Mega Man volunteered himself for action against crime and serving to support and protect mankind's existence and coexistence with robots within society. Mega Man along with help from his friends, thwarted the evil plans of Dr. Wily and other such villains numerous times, while saving lives and inspiring justice in the hearts of others. In Mega Man II, due to an accident with a duplicator, he became a living machine, (i.e. he was a living thing with a mechanical body, and he developed similar to that of a normal boy, experiencing human emotions, psychological growth, and other such human characteristics, while searching for a true nature of his own.). Throughout his many adventures, Mega Man has encountered several enemies that have appeared to be too powerful for him to overcome on his own, yet in typical heroic fashion Mega Man's pure intentions and strong will tend to be the determining factor in his steadfast battle for everlasting peace.
Anything else? (Optional)
Megaman looks like a ten year old boy wearing some kind of armor, but acts older. ... Yeah, this'll be surprising. XD
Entrance: Teleports into the arena in a blue streak of light.
