Alucard
Age:
Immortal
Species:
Dhumpire

Male
Alignment:
Good
Type:
Middle Class
Character Stats:
81 HP; 7 PP; 6 LP
Residence:
Castlevania
Personal Relationships: (optional)
Well, nobody's playing a Belmont, are they? Or Maria? I saw Turk has got Dracula, but I'm not sure we'd have any team moves...whaddaya say, pa, truce or do we hate each other still?
Occupation:
Monster Hunter
Moveset:
He's a highly skilled weapon expert, and despite his shield, is more more used to dodging and evading attacks, rather then standing toe to toe. He's all about faking the opponent out, using his cape and speed to his advantage, feinting and intentionally throwing dummy attacks to miss, only to land his true intention, later on. He uses a lot of magic and trickery, and in team battles, the man is sure to use his allies much to his advantage. Being fast, he's ALSO acrobatic, capable of leaping incredibly high, rebounding off walls with the greatest of ease, and seeming to do it all without messing up his cape, or NOT looking cool...
Special Moves: (Mandatory)
All "B" attacks are the "Special Moves" the characters can use. (Example: Bowser's Fire Breath.)
Standard Attack - Hellfire (Alucard takes hold of his cape, and charges. When Alucard is ready, he releases the attack, sending three fireballs out toward the foe. If he hasn't charged at all, they are fast'n'weak, if he has been charging, they are strong, but a bit slower. Not so slow that it's useless, but your more agile fighters could jump over them quickly, sure.)
Upward Attack - Bat (Will transform into a Bat, enabling him to fly around at ease, and giving him the ability to shoot weak fireballs quickly and at will. This form can be maintained for a little while, but it's not recommended for any long distance traveling. It should be noted that if there are any other bats in the area, they will flock toward Alucard as the 'alpha' and will attack his enemies. They will leave once he turns back into his 'human' form. He is vulnerable when turning back into his normal self. If he is in the air when he reverts, he'll be unable to jump again until landing on solid ground.) (R)
Downward Attack - Teleportation (Not as fast as his father's, but he has the ability to come back with a charging Hellfire, waiting to attack a foe.)
Side Attack - Poison Mist (Alucard becomes a yellow cloud of poison mist, passing through attacks and danger, and if he glides over a foe, he deals damage, which grows severe the more damaged a foe is. And, if a person is badly injured, this REALLY messes them up. The only problem is, he can't hold it long at all, and any attempt to "spam" the attack would just cause it to be shorter and shorter. Another disadvantage, is he's quite vulnerable when changing back to normal...)
Regular Attacks: (Optional)
All "A" attacks are the normal attacks used by pressing the A button in Smash Bros. These usually consist of punches and kicks.
(A) Standard Attack - Fist of Tulkas (using these gauntlets, Alucard delivers a standard boxing combo, letting loose a heavy flurry to the opponent's face. If they are too small to hit normally, he will land a more awkward combo, aiming downward.)
(A) Upward Attack - Throwing Axe (chucking a small throwing axe in an upward arc, it comes down IMMEDIATELY in front of him, but a good distance above him, a weak attack, but good for anti-air assaults.)
(A) Downward Attack - Combat Knife (taking a small knife from his boot, and while crouched, lands a flurry of weak jabs to an opponent's legs, or what have you.)
(A) Side Attack - Distracting Swipes (Alucard will swing his sword at you, at odd angles to throw you off balance, and perhaps tag you a few times.)
Aerials: (Optional)
These are the (A) attacks used in the air.
Standard Aerial: Singing Slashes (lands a number of fierce attacks with his sword, mercilessly tearing into his opponents. Can land quite a number of these before landing.)
Upward Aerial: Savage Swipe (Lets out a war cry and wildly swings his sword up, to catch a foe offguard.)
Downward Aerial: Kick (beneath him, Alucard will attempt an improptu soccer kick toward the opponent.)
Side Aerial: Skull Cracker (spinning in mid-air, Alucard will put all his weight behind driving his shield into an opponent, and if it lands, this counts as a smash, hopefully sending the opponent flying.
Smash Attacks: (Optional)
All "Smash" attacks are the specialized and more powerful attacks used by pressing the A button in correlation to a directional button with some force in Smash Bros. These usually consist of devastating punches, kicks, and weaponry attacks.
Upward Smash: Son of the Dragon (Leaps up a bit and lands a vicious upward samurai-like sword-slash, launching foes into the air.)
Downward Smash: Crawl (drops down and goes for a slash to the legs, in essence, a 'sweep' attack.)
Side Smash: Claymore Thrust (slides forward and attempts to impale the foe on a large Claymore, two-handed sword.)
Grabs: (Optional)
Grab 1 - Speak up! (grabbing the opponent, he'll shove them back weakly, and jumping in a spin, he'll land a spinning back heel kick, with his left foot, to their ear and temple area, of course knocking them senseless...if it's someone little, he'll adjust accordingly, throwing them up. Or course, if it's a larger opponent he'll leap higher, etc etc.)
Grab 2 - Spirit of the Wolf (for some reason this is the only time he'll take wolf form, getting in close to maul the opponent until they are on the ground, at which time he'll change back into his normal form. As always, he is vulnerable when changing back...)
Taunts:
Upward Taunt - Wrapping his cape around him, to make him look mysterious and suave. This can be held indefinitely, until it is time to attack or move.
Downward Taunt - If there is a chair, he will sit down in it. This also can be held indefinitely, and he will fall asleep if nothing happens....though it isn't clear whether this is intentional or if it's simply to taunt the opponent.
Final Smash:
The sky turns black with red lightning, and Alucard turns into a large, morphed Bat-Demon thing, and starts launching black fireballs at people, and can teleport around, blasting at people. Just like dear old pa! However, this only lasts 2 turns.
Weaknesses:
The big one, is that, for an immortal half-Vampire hardcore son of Dracula, he's got somewhat of a glass jaw, and really, does NOT like pain. He will go flying from hits, that aren't really that strong. Though he recovers quickly, if someone kept the heat up on him they COULD tear him down. (going by every single time I accidentally brushed against ANYTHING playing Symphony of the Night. Jesus, Alucard, want a band-aid? Should we call a time out? How about you grow a pair and start killing some medusa heads? Christ.)
Being a vampire, even if a partial vamp, he DOES have a thirst, and must feed. This can be animals, if he's healthy, but if he's really injured, he might not be able to help, lunging for a human...
And as an immortal, he's slow around technology. He still thinks muskets are cutting edge.
Personality:
To Alucard, a good time means reading the works of controversial French writers and enjoying the triumphant sounds of Wagner. He has no real desire for the company of others, at least, that's what he thinks, yet at the same time he is quite nice toward others, if not cold. Knowledge of his immortality makes him naturally a bit detatched from the world, but he doesn't hold mankind in contempt like his father. He also has a real gallow's sense of humor, something that might not translate well, talking with others.
However, when it comes to darkness and the minds and hearts of evil men, Alucard is dead serious. He'd like it very much if he could crucify all the evil in the world, and it isn't lost on him, how similar he is to his father, in that regard. Alucard has always walked a razor's edge between two worlds. He just prays he can keep his balance.
Likes:
Candles, French literature, technical swordsmanship, goodness, black leather, German composers.
Dislikes:
His own unholy thirst, his father's dark rule and bloody history, fire, being rolled not 5 minutes inside his father's castle, "electric music".
Appearance:
History:
Warning: I wiki'd this thing. Since I haven't really played a game with him past Symphony of the Night, I'm cutting off at that ending. If this is a problem, please let me know.)
Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse
In 1476 when Trevor Belmont was on his own quest to hunt out the Count Dracula who had controlled his son to become evil, Alucard would be waiting for Trevor Belmont to come by. Alucard acted like a boss (not a real boss) at this point, testing the skills of the hero. Alucard was suprised by Trevor's strength when he was defeated and freed from evil by the young vampire hunter and asked if he could join Trevor on his quest.
With Trevor accepting the vampire's offer, he then becomes a serious ally in the battle against Vlad the Impaler.
After helping to destroy Dracula, and despite his good intentions, Alucard couldn't help but feel guilty for patricide. To ease his pain, he put himself to rest, submerging his powers.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
In 1797, due to an unexpected lack of a Belmont, Alucard had no choice but to awaken from his slumber to investigate the matter and infiltrate Castlevania. He was able to find out that Richter Belmont had been seduced by evil and was controlling the castle.
With the help of Richter's sister-in-law, Maria Renard, they were able to find out the truth: The dark priest Shaft was controlling Richter and wanted to raise Dracula from his dark slumber. After releasing Richter from Shaft's control, Alucard entered an upside-down version of Castlevania, with more powerful enemies, and confronted Shaft.
Having defeated Shaft, Alucard discovered that his efforts were in vain, as Shaft's plan had come to fruition regardless. He solely defeated his father in combat once more, and sent him back to the grave, though Dracula did show a spark of humanity after Alucard told him Lisa's last words: that mankind should be left in peace, and that she would always love him. He then planned to put himself back at rest but Maria, who had developed a strong attraction to him, eventually set out to convince him to stay.
(Also, if I should add anything, to make him more Smash Brothersy, ALSO let me know. Please. )
Anything else? (Optional)
His shield has the same ability to stop small projectiles that Link's shield possesses.
