Moveset:
Trace's greatest weapon is his speed and range. Trace's moves is fast, swift, got little lag, and the length of his bladed arm can hit more than one opponent at once. He can also jump well, though he can still only jump two times.
Standard Special: Imperialist - The glory, pride, and infamy of Trace. This weapon is easily described as a sniper rifle that shoots a red laser. The Imperalist is a precision weapon that can knock most enemies down on the back, and provides a scope for snipers to use. It's a hitscan, meaning that it will immediately hit whatever the weapon targets. However, the disadvantage is that the Imperalist takes a good amount of time to reload, so Krikens will have to aim carefully if they don't want the target to be alerted. The Imperialist Laser seems to be capable of inflicting critical damage if it hits a weak point. Trace can aim weapon around in any direction he desires. This weapon will use two dice rolls. If the first dice roll wins, the laser will hit, and whoever is hit can perform two dice rolls against the second roll. If neither beats the roll, the victim is critically damaged. This move will only have a knockback if it's a critical hit.
Side Special: Triskelion Lunge - Krikens are capable of transforming into three-legged and quick creatures known as Triskelions. They are capable of ripping their enemies apart with their claws. Krikens uses it's abilities primarily for close combat, though they have been witnessed using them to escape danger. They are capable of lunging, which due to it's added speed is also used by Krikens to get around. When Trace uses his Side Special, he will transform into a Triskelion and immediately lunge in a direction, and then transform back to himself again. The move can knock someone far away, but the move can be dangerous for Trace himself, as it can cause him to leap away from the arena. So unless he is lucky, he can practically get KO'ed if he leaps out of the arena. The Triskelion Lunge can also be used as a better third jump.
Up Special: Kriken Slash - Trace's left arm got a long blade instead of a claw. There may be no other options for Trace's Up Special than slicing upward through the air! Trace uses the blade to slash upward, which gives him a third jump, and "obviously" can damage his opponents if they gets hit by the slash.
Down Special: Cloaking - Trace is better known for using invisibility. Trace uses a cloaking device that previously only worked whenever he uses the Imperalist. However, this device had been upgraded so that Trace don't need the Imperalist anymore to do that. Whenever Trace activates his cloaking device, he will turn invisible almost immediately. If Trace moves, he will disrupt the invisibility. However, he can still aim his Imperalist. Trace can also more easily avoid projectile attacks as it is hard to tell where he is standing, though he can't dodge projectiles automatically, he will still need to do a dice roll against the projectile. Note that Trace isn't 100% invisible, and that a trained eye can spot him easily. A drawback is that when he was drained by Gorea, it seemed to have destroyed his cloaking device a little, and now he can only use the cloaking for two turns after activation. And must wait two other turns before he can use it again.
Up Taunt: Trace holds up his right claw as if it were a imaginative gun and says "Bang Bang! You are dead!"
Side Taunt: Trace begins break dancing for three seconds, and finishes with a somervault, he will say in the middle of the taunt "Ha ha! Take that!"
Down Taunt: Trace throws his Imperalist into the air, and grabs it as it falls down. At the meanwhile he says "Is that really the best that you can do?"
Final Smash:
Kriken Frenzy - Trace loves to attack with the Imperalist, but what he loves even more... Is to shoot endless lasers out as if it were a chaingun! He were previously using a weaker version of something similar against Samus and Noxus back on Arcterra, but this version is even stronger than the normal version.
Upon using the smash ball, Trace will first begin to warm the Imperalist up for a short while... Then it happens! It's a Rapid-Fire Attack!! He will fire many Imperalist shots at his opponent/s, nonstop. Trace can't stop the weapon at all! There will be moments where the weapon stops suddenly... A dice roll will determine whatever it begins shooting again or the final smash ends. In the case it stops... The Imperalist blows up inside and begins shooting smoke! Trace will then be unable to use the Imperalist for four turns.
NOTE: The Final Smash can't critically damage someone.
Weaknesses:
Trace is neither strong or endurable. He is pretty light for a middle class, and taking too much damage will likely get him KO'ed. Although his moves are swift, he is not really that fast on his feet. Trace can't really dish much damage, and got only a few KOing moves. His only projectile takes time before it can be used again, and one of his stronger moves can potentially kill Trace himself. Trace is way too confident in his abilities, and is sometimes reckless.
Personality:
Trace is arrogant, egoistical, and prideful. He believes that he is a strong Kriken, and will likely shoot anyone whom says otherwise. Trace is quick to hate someone, and slow to trust someone. As much as he enjoy doing that, Trace believes it's a waste of time to fight, so he will mostly snipe his enemies instead of fighting. Don't think it's cowardice, as Trace is still willing to fight hand-to-hand with anyone and doesn't let his fear get ahead of him. Though he will still escape if he knows that he can't win. He dislikes being called nicknames, though he will only really snap when someone calls him Tracey. Trace seems to like performing tricks on his hoverboards, and is getting better at it. Trace hates and fears Samus all at once.
Likes:
Sniping, his Imperalist, hoverboards, fighting, beating somebody, being invisible, himself, Krikens, his ship "The Red Sniper", and meat.
Dislikes:
Samus Aran, Sylux, Weavel, Spire, Kanden, Noxus, Galactic Federation, being called nicknames, having his Hoverboards ruined, lava, cold, water, metroids, space pirates, and finding a suitable planet for the Kriken Empire to conquer.
Appearance: (You can't really see it in this picture, but his head floats)
See the red stuff on Trace's right claw? That's the Imperialist, and he can strap it to his back whenever he don't need it currently.
History:
The Kriken is a ruthless insectoid race that is hated and feared throughout the galaxy. The Kriken is near endless because of the fact that each pair breeds about fifteen Kriken Children, which then begins to breed about fifteen more children, and which breeds other fifteen children each, and so on. This is why The Kriken began to conquer planets, so that they would avoid overpopulation. This created The Kriken Empire, and built up the reputation of The Ruthless Kriken.
The Kriken Empire decided that only the Strongest would live. They made a rite of passage where Krikens at the age of fifteen should be exiled to search for new planets for The Kriken Empire to conquer whenever they should require more planets. However, because that the planets must be suitable for the Kriken to live on, it have been recently become very difficult for Kriken exiles to find planets suitable, as most of them have already been captured by The Empire. This is exactly why Trace hates looking for planets, he had been doing that for one year now!
Trace was sent on exile one year ago, and he have yet to find a good suitable planet. As The Kriken is very finicky about what they want, he didn't have much of a easy time. Trace decided to take up bounty hunting to have something to do while going across the galaxy, finding and hunting Criminals so that he could have some credits. However, his life did change a little when he heard somekind of telepathic message, that played back in his head now and then.
"The secret to ultimate power resides in the Alimbic Cluster"
Trace thought that this would be a great way to get respect from the Empire, and get to end his Exile and be a official member of the Empire without having to find a planet, so he took immediately out to the Alimbic Cluster to find clues about this ultimate power. Was it a weapon? What was it? That's what he sent out to find out.
However, he was surprised to discover that the Galactic Federation had sent their best hunter. It wasn't just their best. It was THE best hunter. Samus Aran. However, he would still try to get the ultimate power for the Kriken Empire. What a great opportunity, to get the ultimate power and grant the Empire it, despite Samus' effort. His wish.
Trace began on Arcterra to search for clues. He is still wondering why exactly he started looking on a cold planet of all things! However, he would be searching for clues, until he suddenly came into a conflict with yet other Hunter, Noxus. The two of them immediately began fighting each other, each trying to kill each other. Trace discovered during that time that Noxus apparently follows Justice, and he wouldn't allow the Empire to get the ultimate power. Trace had the upperhand in the battle, as he stood on a platform high above.
Of course, somebody unexpectedly came. Samus herself. Noxus attacked her instead since he couldn't hit Trace more effectively. Since only Samus cared about the fact that there was some evil sniper above the two of them that tried to snipe them, she also shot at Trace occasionally. Trace? He were firing at the both of them, switching from target to target. Eventually, Samus defeated Noxus, and Trace quickly escaped and hides.
Later though, Samus were trying to escape, but Trace stopped her in the attempt to do so. The two of them were fighting for a while, but Samus eventually defeated Trace, forcing him to retreat back to his own ship. Trace then occasionally encountered Samus while she were going around on the planets and space stations,
Later, something appeared in the center of the Alimbic Cluster, which were the oubliette. Trace thought that the ultimate power could be there, so he went there to check it out. He ran into five other hunters, one of whom he knew very well. But grudgingly decided to team up with him. They began shooting at a round object, that they suspected to hold the ultimate power. Of course, they would all obviously begin attacking each other after finding it, attempting to have the power for themselves.
However, what was in the object wasn't the Ultimate Power. It was Gorea. The six hunters were struck with fear as Gorea suddenly shot out tentacles and stabbed the hunters with them, draining them of power, and gaining their weapons at the same time. Trace was also struck in his cloaking device, which damaged it, making him unable to stay invisible forever anymore. Samus was left to deal with the monster, and managed to defeat it.
The hunters however survived and got away before the Oubliette blew up. Trace was disappointed with himself for not having gotten the ultimate power for the Empire... Though when he think about it, it may never have existed at all. Trace decided to go back to bounty hunting, and looked for more planets.
However, deep within, Trace wants to meet the hunters again and defeat them in a fight. In this World, a trophy of Trace was created... But for some reason he doesn't have the knowledge of This World and the fact that he has been a trophy all this time. Trace's reaction when he learns that he is not the real deal and just a trophy will probably be priceless beyond belief.
Anything else?
Trace's Theme
Death Cry: Whenever Trace is KO'ed or is blasted off, he will make the screeching sound that he makes whenever he is killed in MPH.
For those wondering "Why did you give Trace hoverboards? He never uses one in MPH." - Because we don't know much about Trace. Who knows? He may like skateboards, or hoverboards. Plus, Hoverboards rocks your socks.
Stage Entrance: Trace was there all along, invisible. He breaks up his invisibility and makes a screech.
Origin of Final Smash: Those who have played Metroid Prime Hunters will understand this.
When you fight Noxus on Arcterra for the first time, Trace will be standing above, trying to snipe the two of you. However, Trace will sometimes start rapid firing the two of you, blasting Imperialist shots upon Imperialist shots on each other, something that you can't normally do without hacking or something. Note that Noxus were hiding underneath whenever Trace unintentionally annonced with a high screech that he is about to do that.
So, this idea is used with the final smash... Just alot more powerful.
Ship name: I have to give the credits to some guy on Fanfiction for the name "The Red Sniper" ...I just can't remember his name.
The story is a little madeup, but that's because Trace is a underdeveloped character.
