Name: Knuckle Joe
Origin: Kirby's Super Star
Nick: N/A
Age: 14
Species: Despite the crazy things in Dream Land, Joe is humanoid.
Gender: Male
Alignment: Good
Type: Lightweight
Residence: Green Greens
Occupation: Joe has no job per say, but he does compete in every fighting event possible.
Likes: Joe likes few things, but those things he cares about deeply. He cares about his grandfather, who raised him in martial arts, what happened to cause his father to disappear, which to this day is unknown, and Kirby, his best friend.
Dislikes: Joe's dislikes are simple: Dark Matter--who his father was last seen fighting--Meta Knight--who forced him to fight Kirby the first time--and Dedede--who kidnapped him into his army.
Moveset: B) Vulcan Jab--Joe unleashes Hell in the form of an endless storm of bullet-like punches.
B-Up) Rising Break--Joe's strongest air based move, the Rising Break is an uppercut so powerful, it propells Joe himself into the air. (CAN BE USED AS RECOVERY)
B-Side) Smash Punch--This is the tiny fighter's calling card. Joe summons as much strength as possible and swings downward, creating a punch-projectile which can cause great damage depending on how far it goes before hitting. (CAN BE CHARGED)
B-Down) Earth Breaker--Joe raises his fist and slams it down, creating a small shockwave about him the bounches foes into the air, stunning them for 2 seconds.
Final Smash: Fighter's Fury--Joe becomes temporarily invincible. His attack strength, speed, and agility are doubled. In other words, a beefed-up Joe. However, there is a down side. Everytime he misses an attack, he gets damaged.
Appearance:
Weaknesses: Joe is weak to two main things. One is water. It weighs down his suit, making it hard to fight, and he's not a graceful swimmer. He also becomes enraged when his father or mother is mentioned. (A VERY difficult thing for Joe to have to relive is his mother's death.)
Personality: Joe is a well-hardened fighter. Not to say he doesn't have a sense of humor, he just doesn't use it often. Joe can become either enraged or pleased when challenged, depending on who. When he says he'll do something, Joe sticks with it until he sees his mission accomplished.
History: When Joe was still an toddler, his father went to fight the coming threat of Dark Matter. His mother, who had been terribly ill, was hospitalized. Thus, Joe was raised for a time by his grandparents. His mother died within 2 months, on Joe's third birthday. His father, however, never returned.
The heartbroken boy stayed within his home for 2 weeks, and didn't leave. However, he soon found a way to cope. His grandfather, who formerly had been a champion fighter, decided to help Joe by training him to be a fighter as well.
When Joe was 10, King Dedede took over Dream Land. By that time, he had won 4 junior fighting tourneys. This information, however, did not escape King Dedede. When Joe was 12, he was captured and taken to be a part of DDD's army. However, Joe would soon meet his better: Kirby. Joe encountered him in his base by the sea. Regardless of his abilities, Kirby promptly dealt with him. Joe was stunned. Here he was, Dream Land's champ, and Kirby simply tossed him aside.
Joe quickly got a chance for payback. Once King Dedede was defeated, The Smash Punch Challenge was opened. Joe's strength quickly led him to the top, all that was left was to wait. When Kirby arrived, they competed in three rounds which resulted in a tie. Humbled, the boy accepted Kirby as his equal.
Currently, Joe is once again Dream Land's champ, as Kirby hasn't entered the Dream Land Tourney for a while. However, the two still duke it out occassionally, and have become good friends. However, now that Joe has heard of the Smash Bros Tourney, he is determined to enter. Little does he know his friend, Kirby, is in it as well...
It seems a storm may be brewing...
