Occupation:
Former student, now a master swordsman.
Moveset:
Lloyd is a special type of warrior, he uses his two swords and Exsphere in combat to battle his opponents. Unlike other fighters, he gets stronger during combat. The more he uses his skills, the faster they evolve onto other moves to use in battle.
Neutral Special: Demon Fang
Demon Fang is Lloyd's basic move, its a mid range sword wave like Mario's fireballs. Lloyd can also damage the foe twice if they come within range of his sword swing. Each wave rolls 6.
Neutral Special(upgraded): Double Demon Fang
After 3 turns of using Demon Fang, it evolves to Double Demon Fang. It's a two for one special when he unleashes twin shockwaves at once. Both with a roll of 6.
Side Special: Tempest(R)
Lloyd swings his swords around like a helicopter blade flying forward, he flys afew feet forward shredding anyone in his path. It counts as a recovery move too, so after its used hes open in the air. 6 dice.
Side Special(upgraded): Omega Tempest(R)
After 3 turns of using Tempest, it evolves to Omega Tempest. Now Lloyd can fly alot farther, raising in the air more. Hes still open in the air though. 8 dice.
Up Special: Rising Falcon(R)
Lloyd leaps into the air high and flys down diagonally pointing his swords down like a beak as wind pressure around him spirals around. This is also his main recovery move, its alittle risky if you dive off the platforms though. 7 dice.
Up Special(upgraded): Rising Phoenix(R)
After 3 turns of using Rising Falcon, it evolves to Rising Phoenix. Not much has changed, except now it becomes a fire elemental move like Fire Fox. 7 dice, but gains a fire element.
Down Special: Sword Rain
Lloyd thrusts his sword at his enemies at light speed, then finishes it with a deep thrust of the other sword. Its good for linking combos. 5 dice, but can be used rapidly.
Down Special(upgraded): Sword Rain: Alpha
After 3 turns of using Sword Rain, it evolves to Sword Rain: Alpha. When this happens, Lloyd can use Sword Rain longer, and ends with a slash upward instead. This is a perfect opportunity to use Rising Falcon/Phoenix in the air. 7 dice per attack
Final Smash: Divine Justice
Lloyd's ultimate attack, Falcon's Crest. Also known as: Divine Justice! He takes his twin swords and unites them into one large energy blade, then he leaps into the air and dives down with a single powerful slash that can even part the mighty earth below. It's just a single attack, but the max roll is a whooping 50 die!
Weaknesses:
Only a few Grade points short of 2nd play through bonuses, Lloyd isn't exactly the sharpest nail in the toolbox. Hes pretty slow in the head, and a little too bold for his own good jumping right into the fray heroically, and sometimes his flashy attacks and overconfident swings can leave him open for attacks. It also doesn't help that hes bordering a little on the lightweight side and could possibly be sent back with a powerful blow. Plus he seems to lose interest in little things around him very quickly.
Personality:
You won't find anyone stronger of body and soul then him. A true hero to a fault, Lloyd is bold, brave, reliable and surprisingly clever at times. Hes also a fun guy to hang around with, since hes pretty social around friends and acquaintances. The boy can also be thick headed, he has a hard time in school, comprehending advanced plots, and just trying to figure out a math quiz. He even gets excited for something one moment, and then lose interest in it the next altogether. But this doesn't mean hes entirely stupid, hes pretty good with puzzles, just like a certain warrior in green. And he excels in carpentry, smithing, and art work. He's also a fierce fighter, one of the best of his time. You'll have a hard time finding a better ally then Lloyd.
Likes:
His friends and former traveling partners, his father Dirk, food, swordsmanship, strong warriors, arts and crafts, physical workouts, a fun time, his dog Noishe(yep its a dog XD).
Dislikes:
Yggdrasil's ideals, people who attack his friends, Kratos(when they first met, not so much now though), meaningless deaths, how Exspheres are made, when hes called stupid(doesn't bug him that much though), Dwarven Vow number 7...
Appearance:
History: (BEWARE OF SPOILERS!!!!)
Long ago in the world of mana known as Sylvarant, Lloyd Irving was found and raised by a Dwarven Blacksmith named Dirk, and went to school in a nearby town called Iselia. Hes made friends with Colette Brunel, Genis Sage and his older sister Raine Sage, hes lived life happy for the next couple of years. When it came time for Colette to go on her journey of Regeneration, Lloyd had to tag along with her more then anything, he joined along side Genis, Raine and a red haired swordsman named Kratos. On the way they faced the terrorist group called Desians, met a ninja/summoner girl who's mission was to kill Colette and end her journey, and even suffered a few hardships here and there. But despite all the chaos they managed to make amends with the assassin known as Sheena, and they all advanced to the Tower of Salvation. Once they got in, Colette's soul was sealed within her body by the angels and none other then Kratos, he betrayed the group to get Colette as Martel's vessel. After a grueling battle, it looked like Lloyd and his friends weren't going to make it. But they got help from Botta, Yuin and they're secret organization, the Renegades. Lloyd and the others found out about the leader Yggdrasil's true motives and decided they had to save Colette before they take any action, they're journey lead them to Tethe'alla, a world that lives along side Sylvarant.
In the new world they were able to change Colette back to normal with the help of Zelos the new member, and decided to find answers within Tethe'alla. They met two other member Regal and Presea, and eventually uncovered the truth behind the two worlds. In the end Lloyd and his party went to the Tower of Salvation to defeat Yggdrasil, and save the Great Seed. With the help of Martel and the Eternal Sword, Lloyd was able to bring the Great Seed back to life, and make the tree of mana grow once again. In honer of the fallen hero, they named the tree Yggdrasil. After his journey Lloyd took a long journey to find Exspheres to make sure they're never used for evil again.
