Name:
Ranulf
Game of Origin:
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Nicknames:
...Stupid cat(by Ike once)
Age:
Unknown, he looks around 20 but could be in his 50s at the most.
Species:
Beast Laguz: Wildcat type
Gender:
Male
Alignment:
Good
Type:
Lightweight
Residence:
Kingdom of Gallia
Occupation:
Right hand man to the king of Gallia, Elite Gallian Soldier
Moveset:
Ranulf is a wild man indeed, his speed is around Fox's speed, his attacks are pretty moderate, and his jumps aren't too shabby either. He can fight in and out of his beast form, but he really excels as a beast. His human form doesn't have a moveset besides transform.
Human:All of Ranulf's Specials are Transform, his true Moveset comes with his beast form.
Neutral B: Wildcat Roar
Ranulf does a short range roaring noise that stuns the enemy when used right.
Side B: Rending Claws
The Wildcat lunges at his enemies rending his claws at them swiftly
Up B: Pounce
Ranulf plays alittle game with the enemy, he leaps up in the air high for a third jump, and attacks with enemy with his paws.
Down B: Transform
Ranulf turns back to human form to rest his beast form.
Ranulf's beast form has a time limit, after a while he'll become tired, during this moment his attacks grow weaker, he gets slower and hes open to stronger attacks. He can fix this by fighting in his human form for a while, letting his beast form rest.
Final Smash: Rend
Like Ike's Great Aether, he sends his enemies up using his tail, and hits them with a barrage of claw swipes. The differences is his attacks are weaker but last longer, he doesn't use the fire element, and he finishes by pouncing off of his enemies sending them sideways off screen. If his first attack misses, then none of the above effects happen.
Weaknesses:
Like many Laguz, Ranulf cannot fight effectively in battle without the help of his beast form. And after a while, he will begin to grow tired, and will have to switch to human form. And as stated before, lightweights are not good for defensive tactics.
Personality:
Much like his beast form, Ranulf is playful and happy-go-lucky. He enjoys lightening the mood, even during serious moments. But don't think hes all about happy times, he can be quick to deem enemies if his friends, family or Laguzkind are threatened. But even during battle, hes calm, cool and collected. Unless hes losing of course.
Likes:
Ike, Mist, His king, his kind, fruit, a thrill, peace.
Dislikes:
People who threaten his kind, meaningless battles, bad fruit, being pushed around(explained in FE9).
Appearance:
History:
Ranulf has been the right hand warrior to the King of Gallia Cainegius, for as long as he could remember. He enjoys his life by carrying out royal missions, and training. During the Subspace war however, he assisted Ike from behind the scenes by telling him information about the Subspace bombs and the Subspace Emissary. The two of them met when Ike went to Gallia with Mist for some training, and have been friends ever since. After the war, Ranulf spent his time relaxing, and enjoying the peace that came.
