To avoid cluttering up the Quick Icons thread, I'm making this new thread where people can request icons for their characters if they don't have one yet. Please note that you can only ask for an icon if your character is APPROVED by the staff. Once you recieve your icon, please save it to your computer and then re-upload it to your own image hosting service. That way we can all avoid leeching bandwidth off each others' accounts. A good image hoster is Photobucket; it's free, and easy to use once you get the hang of navigating the menus. If you want a particular picture for your character, please either provide a link to it or post it in this thread using image tags. I do not speak for the staff here, but all icons I'll make will be 55 pixels large, with a 49-pixel image and a 3-pixel border. If you want a larger image and a smaller border (or a larger border and a smaller image), please say so. |

STONIZATIONIf you want me to do your icon, you can ask for some of the following customizations: - What kind of border the icon will have. The default for my icons is a solid black border, but it is possible to have a colored border with black outlines as well. If you want a colored border, please specify which color (or better yet, give me the hexadecimal code for the color, which can be found in the color picker of most image-editing programs, including Microsoft Paint). Color borders MUST be an odd number of pixels wide, and be greater than one pixel in size.
- Whether or not the character's name will be in the icon. That's pretty self-explanatory.
- Whether the icon will be a still image, or animated. I can make animated GIFs now, and if your request isn't too complicated, I'll be able to make simple animations for you. Please be aware that an animated icon will likely have no border, as that would require manually inserting the border into each frame and would take far too long to create.
(NOTE: I can make uncustomized icons in five minutes, but customized ones take longer. If you want a custom icon, you'll have to be patient.)

Hey, Stoney, can I get a Tom Nook one using this picture:  The black solid border is alright, his name does not need to be in it, but you can put it in there if you'd like. Of course, it will stay an image. Please and that you! |
