B: Fire Blast - A small flame shoots from Kouen's outstretched hand, and it travels across the field. Like a blast from a lazer gun, except shorter reach. Kouen can charge it up to make it more powerful and fly farther.
Side B: Speed Punch - Kouen dashes forward, punching the air as he slows. Making contact with his fist will send an opponent flying. Warning: Kouen can accidently fall off a ledge using this move.
Up B: Levitate - Kouen can fly a short bit in any direction. While flying, Kouen is surrounded by a transparent red sphere. Anyone who touches the sphere will be slightly harmed. If Kouen is attacked with a projectile while in the sphere, it will disperse and he will fall.
Down B: Flame Kick - Kouen brings his foot down hard on the ground, and an explosion forms. Opponents will burn if they touch the explosion. This can also be charged, resulting in a larger explosion.
Final Smash: Fire Storm
Flame on! Kouen's hands become covered in flames, and he can fly. Very similar to Yoshi's, except he moves faster and can only shoot fire balls. He also can't stay in this form for long (3 posts)
Weaknesses:
Kouen, having fire-based attacks, is naturally afraid of a big body of water. He'll do whatever he must to stay away from the ocean, a lake, whatever. If he enters the water, he loses his fire abilities for a short bit, and his attacks become a lot weaker. Also, he will become severly ill, and will remain sick until he can get in a fire. As well, he is gullible. He can be tricked into a lot of things.
Personality:
One may find that if only knowing Kouen for a short amount of time, they could think that he doesn't have any emotions. He also rarely speaks, only when someone asks him something. However, this is not true. Sure, it looks like he's a robot, with his monotone voice and all, but he does show his emotions, even though they're really hard to see. When he's happy, he'll only give a slight smile. When upset, he'll just lightly furrow his brows. When embarrassed, his cheeks will glow a light pink-pale. And so on and so forth.
Getting back on topic now, Kouen's personality is hard to know. At times, he seems like he wouldn't give a darn if the whole city blew up right in front of him. He'd just be too interested in his books. However, this is also not true. Kouen has a strong sense of justice in his robotic-like heart, and he would waste no time helping someone in need. He is willing to go far to just save someone he met, even if that sounds crazy.
Likes:
Reading, helping people, computers, downloading computer programs (to find new and interesting things).
Dislikes:
When computers and/or programs go haywire, having the last page in a book not there, not being able to help people.
Appearance:
Kouen has brown, messy hair. He has a beige hoody with red spike patterns going along the tops and bottoms. The patterns are also on the hood. He wears a pair of black shorts and sneakers.
History:
Kouen was an average school boy living an average life. Key word: was. Kouen was going on a school field trip with his grade nine class to a research development lab for science class. In the research development lab, they had a tour in the 'heat' section. There, the scientists were developing an 'everlasting flame'. In that flame, they had special chemicals in which could leave a fire going forever. Kouen had been observing it when his teacher and the scientists left the room because another class was damaging another room, leaving he and the rest of his class in the room. A couple of Kouen's peers were messing around with the controls to the room, and accidently cause Kouen to fall into the flame. The chemicals in the flame collided with Kouen's body and went in him via his mouth and nose, which gave him the ability to control and create fire. The scientists concluded that the chemicals mixed with his DNA and genes, and that gave him the fire ability.
Now, Kouen spends his time roaming the city. He keeps an eye out for suspicious and shady characters walking the streets of Smash City, and, after experimenting with his powers, sometimes flies over the city. When he does see someone causing trouble, he puts his powers to work and stops them in their tracks. He is slowly moving from 'underdog' to 'hero', but not a lot of people know him or give respect for him. They probably will over time.
