Leader of the marauding splinter group known as Star Wolf. Occasional occupation would be prey to Bounty Hunters.
Moveset:
Special Attacks
Standard: Blaster- Wolf shoots his large laser gun, which he's rather fond of. The blue bolt that shoots out is strong enough to stun enemies, but it's slow. His gun also has a claw at the end that can damage close opponents.
Side: (R)Wolf Flash- Like the Fox Illusion or Falco Phantasm, Wolf blasts off at incredible speed, plowing through opponents as he goes along, or, if he's at the end of his run, smashes the opponent down into the ground. Unlike the aforementioned side specials, the Wolf Flash moves in an upward angle, not straight forward.
Upward: (R)Fire Wolf- Wolf draws in dark flames and then blasts in any direction he so chooses. It has a shorter range than Falco or Fox's up specials, but makes up for it with more power.
Downward: Reflector- Wolf powers up his reflector, enabling him to dodge an enemy attack. If they enemy is close enough, they can get zapped.
Regular Attacks
Standard: Swipe (and combo)- An endless move where Wolf uses his vicious claws to swipe at someone. Attack begins with three dice for the initial attack, and two afterward. The initial attack is for contact. If one hits, the opponent is just scratched by the first attack and not the next two. If two or more contact rolls hit, then the opponent is hit not only by the initial attack, but by the two stronger claw swipes afterward.
Moving: Backflip- Wolf flips into the enemy, kicking out with his legs.
Upward: High Kick- Wolf kicks upward with one of his legs.
Downward: Low Kick- Wolf ducks and kicks outward with a powerful leg.
Arial Attacks
Standing: Feral Spin- Wolf goes into a wild forward spin once he curls up, going so fast that he damages opponents.
Front: Air Rend- Wolf reaches forward and gashes anyone in his way with his claws.
Back: Back Kick- Using his powerful legs, he kicks back into any enemy behind him.
Upward: Under Rip- Wolf races an arm above him, marring anyone with his claws.
Downward: Palm Smash- Wolf does a near split and slams down his hands, claws first, into the enemy for a deadly smash attack.
Smash Attacks
All Smash Attacks are able to be charged up to three rounds. Each successful charge adds one side to the die.
Side: Wolfen Slash- Wolf charges up, than dashes forward with great speed, impaling anyone on his long, sharp claws. It's powerful even when not fully charged.
Up: Moonlit Kick- Wolf backflips and kicks twice into an airborne enemy, sending them rocketing into the sky. Very powerful.
Down: Claw Swipe- Wolf sweeps the floor with his claws, greatly damaging opponents our front or back.
Grabs and Throws
Grab Attack: Knee to Face- Just what it says. He knees his opponent brutally in the face.
Forward Throw: Gut Punch- Wolf holds the enemy in front of him and gives them a punch in the stomach. Ow.
Backward Throw: Back Claw- He tosses them up and behind, and then he swipes back with his claws.
Upward Throw: Claw Arc- Wolf tosses his opponent upwards and jumps up after them, thrusting his hands claw-first, and spreading outward in an arc.
Downward Throw: Palm Slap- He hops up, tosses them down, and slaps them with his palms.
Taunts
Side Taunt: Wolf twirls around and kicks one leg back and forth, saying, "What's the matter, scared?"
Upward Taunt: Wolf howls.
Downward Taunt: Wolf slams a hand hard on the ground and roars ferociously at the opponent.
Wolf is all about the power, endurance, and ferociousness of a... well... a wolf. His low battle stance can make him hard to hit, and his speed is pretty decent as well. Many of his attacks are powerful, even one of his standard attacks is pretty damaging. However, besides his quick standard and ariel attacks, his other means of aggression are a tad on the slow side to charge and power up. He's also not the greatest jumper in the world, particularly since he's pretty heavy as well, and his recovery moves are only decent at best. Timing is key for him, and if his timing is good, he can take out virtually any opponent in no time.
Final Smash:
Wolfen Landmaster. Once Wolf has grabbed a smash ball, he soars into the air with a cruel chuckle of "We're gonna have fun with this thing," and brings down a red mockery of Fox's Landmaster into the frey. Inside the tank of death, Wolf is completely invulnerable and invincible to any attack, and so he can freely go on a rampage for three turns, wreaking devastation across his path. The Wolfen Landmaster has four attacks: Rolling over people with it's treads (6-sided die), a gigantic blast of laser fire from the barrel of the craft (10-sided die), a deathroll- like a crocodile- (6-sided die), and the ability to use the jets in the Wolfen Landmaster to soar into the stratosphere, instantly defeating any who is caught on top of the devastating machine. (10-sided die). To quote our lupine friend, "We're gonna have fun with this thing... "
Weaknesses:
Wolf is very haughty in nature, thinking everyone is below him. He may be an intelligent leader, but his bloodlust can interfere with his decisions, and blind him to other ways to resolve a problem. With his airship, the Wolfen, this skilled pilot was quite a novice at first, and even today still has trouble doing loop-the-loops. He isn't scared of anything, and so he has a tendency to underestimate his opponents. While he has a decent running speed and endurance, his attacks tend to be rather slow, and easy to avoid, apart from a select few. Fighters who attack from a distance have a distinct advantage over Wolf.
Personality:
The typical picture of a wolf is one that is alone, howling at the moon in resolute sadness. Wolf O'Donnell, however, breaks this stereotype. While indeed one who can excell at holding his own, Wolf is the alpha of the Star Wolf gang, and is an excellent leader. He is bold, daring, and demands respect from those around him. He's also cunning, intuitive, and highly aggressive. All are traits of a good leader, but he doesn't exactly get close to his teammates. Wolf has a firey temper, and can be extremely unpredictable when angry. Wolf has a lot of pride for himself, and as such holds deep grudges against anyone who has proven to be his equal... or worse, his BETTER. He will go out of his way, disregarding anything and everything in his path, to get back at those who have wounded his dominant reputation. Revenge is a word he relishes, much like one would relish a piece of meat. He can only put aside his grudges in times of dire situations, and his definition of 'dire' is very, very specific. And despite being a hardened criminal, he HATES betrayals, backstabbers, and double-crossers.
Likes:
Revenge, his superiority, defeating Fox and his stupid group, successfully running jobs for his mercenary group, destruction and violence, good horror movies, eyepatches, blood, meat, when people respect his authority and submit to him, cheating, his weapons.
Dislikes:
FOX MCCLOUD, Star Fox, losing to Star Fox, Star Fox getting credit for stuff, failing at jobs, failing in general, being humiliated, B-rate Horror flicks, when people try to hide something important from him, weakness in his team and in himself, loop-the-loops, BARREL ROLLS, moons, non-meat or non-meat-product foods, when people disrespect him or try to dominate him, Panther's goofyness, betrayal.
Appearance:
Awesomeness.
Like he does in Brawl..... EXCEPT I'M GIVING HIM BACK HIS BRITISH ACCENT AND BLACK EYEPATCH. This is because A: British accents are far cooler than American accents, B: Eyepatches are cooler than whatchamagadgets over your eye, and C: That's what I've grown up with. I'm very stubborn in thinking that most of the time, the first version of an experience is always the best version.
History:
While Star Fox seemed to be blossoming into a successful group, Wolf's criminal endeavors seemed to be coming to an end. Taking to the stars looked like an excellent way of boosting profits from his runs, and so he began to form his own mercenary group. Noting the success of the fledgeling Star Fox team, Wolf decided to make a mockery of them, and named his team Star Wolf, arming them with ships similar to Arwings that he then dubbed 'Wolfen's. While working for Andross, the group, consisting of Leon Powalski, Pigma Dengar, and Andrew Oikonny (whom was Andross' nephew), and Wolf himself, went after the Star Fox team, attempting to stop them from ruining Andross' plans. However, Wolf underestimated Fox's prowess as a pilot, and was defeated. Incensed, Wolf began to patrol the outskirts of planet Venom, waiting for team Star Fox in ambush. But, for a second time, Wolf lost his scuffle against Fox. Angered that such a pup could defeat him twice in a row, Wolf skulked around the Lylat system after Andross' defeat, soon gaining an infamous reputation.
During the Aparoid invasion, Wolf had apparrently replaced Pigma (whom was ostracized from the team) and Andrew (whom left to walk in his uncle's footsteps) with a new and charming face: Panther Caroso. This time however, the threat of the Aparoids was so great that, after having an initial scuffle with Star Fox, he made his team join his arch enemies in order to keep the Borg-like life forms from destorying everything, including Wolf's territory. However, one the threat ceased to exist, the amnity between Wolf and Fox rekindled, and they continued to battle eachother whenever they happened to bump into eachother.
Wolf was slightly taken aback when he found himself within This World, but seemed to have accepted this fact of life. He could still run his criminal activities and could still try to beat the crud out of Fox, so he saw no reason to complain about no longer living in the Lylat system.
