Hallo everyone. I have been considering writing a fanfiction about Pokémon. However, I decided to add in fanmade Pokémon. I won't overload the story with them, and popular Pokémon will make a appearance. Some fanmade Pokémon will appear weird to most, while some may appear awesome to most.
There's a quick summary about the fanfiction. The story is about Chris and his friends quickly choosing a starter when some thug wearing a dark suit attacks them with a strong Pokémon. After they defeat the Pokémon in a three-on-one battle, they gets to be trainers, and goes on a journey to become the champion. However, when Chris finds that three criminal syndicates (Sun Syndicate, Moon Syndicate, and Team Shadow) are sieging war against each other, he attempts to try find out why they are sieging war.
Anyway, the story takes place in a different region, and some of these Fanmade Pokémon are supposed to be the "starters" of that region. There is one reason I can't start the story yet...
I don't know which starter the main character should have.
The main character, called Chris, receives his first Pokémon at the same time with two of his friends because something bad is about to happen. The friend, who is also the rival, is a girl named Alexis whom likes to boss around with people, and wants to be the best trainer. His other friend is named David, whom is alot more kind, but still fills in a rival-like role.
As you can tell, if Chris gets the grass starter, Alexis gets the fire starter while David gets the water starter.
However, I wouldn't want to choose a starter that the readers begins to dislike... So I will let the readers choose the starter before the story begins! I will let you guys vote which starter you want to see Chris have. Chris will get the starter with the most votes. There are the starters so that you can decide which he should have.
Venilly is the Grass Starter. It is a small flower Pokémon based on the Venus Trap Plant. It acts like a real flower to lure unsuspecting insects over to it. The name of it's evolution is Huntilly, and the final evolution is called Dreadilly. Dreadilly can finish off enemies quick with it's Power Whip attack.
Flamori is the Fire Starter. Those whom are true geeks of the japanese language will know from the first glance on the name that it's a FIRE BAT! It is a mischievous Pokémon, and is a Fire/Flying Type. It's evolution are Heatori, followed by Magmori. Magmori is fierce with it's Brave Bird attack.
And last, but not least, Nagake the Water Starter. Although classified as a Sea Snake Pokémon, it's really based on the Sea Serpent, and is a playful Pokémon. It's evolution is Serpenthan, and it's final and powerful evolution is called Sealord. Sealord intimidates it's foes with it's Dragon Rush attack.
Now you have seen them, you may vote for one starter for Chris.
P.S. I am also posting this fanfiction at some other forum, where EVEN MORE people will begin voting. So even if Flamori got most votes of the three in this forum, the other forum (That got like 3000 members) may have voted for Nagake alot...
P.S.S. Damnit, I wrote Vanilly instead of Venilly in the poll.
