Name:
Zelgius
Game of Origin:
Fire Emblem 9
Nicknames:
Black Knight, the Black Demon
Age:
Unknown. Looks to be in his 20s(Under his armor), but is presumably much older
Species:
Human (Branded)
Gender:
Male
Alignment:
Neutral
Type:
Heavyweight
Character Stats:
HP: 130
PP: 8
LP: 6
Residence:
Wanders
Personal Relationships: (optional)
None
Occupation:
Roaming Knight
Moveset:
The Black Knight is obviously, rather large, and very slow, on par with the likes of Bowser, giving him similar weaknesses. He cannot jump very high, and in fact to gain more than subpar vertical height, must use his Warp Powder, other wise he can only get about 1.5 times his height into the air. (downright pathetic for a Smasher). His actual RECOVERY abilities are rather weak, mainly due to the fact that he can withstand a LOT of punishment.
Special Moves: (Mandatory)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Black Knight gains Super Armor at some point in ALL his special moves except Counter, reflecting his originally invincible armor.
Standard Attack - Eclipse - The Black Knight gathers power, pointing his sword forward in challenge , and takes five swings at an opponent, being caught by one effectively traps you in the attack for the rest of his blows. Has Super Armor while pointing his sword.
(R)Upward Attack - Warp Powder - The Black Knight pulls his cape around himself, and vanishes in a magic circle, appearing a significant distance away in the direction of his choosing. While in combat, can't teleport more that 15 feet. Super Armor once wrapped in his cape, before her vanishes.
Downward Attack - Counter - The Black Knight brings his sword up in a guarding position, and when attacked, counters with a mighty blow. NOTE: The Black Knight's counter lasts longer than other FE characters'.
Side Attack - Sword Wave - The Black Knight spins his sword over his head, then brings it crashing down in front of him, sending a wave of blue light forward along the ground to the edge of whatever surface he's standing on. If the enemy is struck by his sword, it acts like a smash attack, and sends them flying horizontally. Super Armor while spinning his sword.

Grab 2 - (What is this character's Secondary Grab?)
Taunts: (Optional)
Taunts are things that your character can use to taunt his/her enemy. These are usually the character's trademark actions.
Upward Taunt - Beckons his opponent with his free hand, saying "Come."
Downward Taunt - stabs his sword into the ground, and rests his hand on the hilt, before pulling it free again
Side Taunt - Turns away from his opponent, as if to walk away, and says "You are not worthy to face me.)
Final Smash:
Eclipse Judgement - The Black Knight swings his sword, and if it connects with his opponent(10 side), he slashes them 10 times in succession, without pause (10 side), and ends the assault with a powerful Sword wave that carries his victim (or victims if they're close enough) off the stage(12).
Weaknesses:
Slow Knight is SLOW. He rarely moves at more than a measured walk, and if he MUST move faster, can manage at best a jog. He can't jump very well due to the weight of his armor, and all of his moves are fairly telegraphed, giving just enough time to avoid them in most cases. And due to his slow speed, he's also easy to HIT as well.
Personality:
Zelgius is a very quiet man, and tends to only speak when it's necessary. When he DOES speak, it sounds as if he's aware of everything going on, without sounding pretentious. In essence, he sounds as if he knows more than you, but won't rub it in your face. He never seems surprised by how events turn out, and is ALWAYS up for a fight, on honest terms, at least.
Likes:
Intense fights on equal terms; Greil; witnessing someone's true potential; Alondite, his sword; Quiet places; Strong opponents (like Ike); Fighting with honor (connected to the first like)
Dislikes:
Cowards, Dishonesty, weakness (be it in himself or others), Fights without meaning
Appearance:
History: (WARNING: SPOILERS)
Zelgius was born within Daein, and was to be raised as a soldier. He fought under Greil who was a general of Daein and went by the name of Gawain, Lion of Daein. After a while, Greil disappeared with his wife leaving Zelgius alone. And after a few years Zelgius stopped aging, which forced him to leave the army before anyone noticed.
He met Sephiran and was told about the Branded mark, and how he has Laguz blood within him to stop him from aging anymore. Zelgius was saddened, but Sephiran offered to help him, and tells him he will never be alone.
Zelgius was soon brought into the Begnion army, and worked his way up to being a surpreme general of the main army. But Sephiran needed someone behind the scenes to spy on Daein, So he gave Zelgius blessed armor and two blessed swords, Ragnell and Alondite.
Donning this equipment, Zelgius had now become the Black Knight.
The Black Knight then appeared before the King of Daein, Ashnard one day and worked his way up quickly to become a general in the Daein army. And after the Crimea invasion, he hunted down Greil and killed him in a duel, right in front of his son, Ike. He would have killed Ike as well, but the King of Gallia interfeared and forced him to retreat. But oddly enough, he left behind Ragnell for Ike.
Through out Ike's journey he simply watched him grow stronger, making little effort to actually stop him. But at one point, Ike grew strong enough to actually keep up with the Black Knight, which is when he tought Ike that Ragnell can damage him. Once Ike got to the boarder of Crimea, he faced the Black Knight one last time with the help of his sister, Mist. And finally after the long battle, the Black Knight eventually was beaten, and vanished after the castle collapsed.
He's since wandered around Crimea, resulting in rumors of his presence, but never remaining in one place long enough for those rumors to be confirmed... But he watches, and waits for a chance to face Ike again.
Anything else? (Optional)
