History
This gigantic ship served as the Star Fox Team's mothership. It's primary purpose of the ship is that of a carrier and repair facility for the team’s Arwings. It's equipped with a long-range transfer system that can send Arwings and Landmasters to a planet's surface, and transfer supplies in battlezones when needed. The ship was ordered to be built by James McCloud, Fox's father. But it was not cheap, and James had to take an eight-year loan to pay it off. But James died in Venom before finishing the loan, but his son managed to pay it all off after his battle with Andross.
This version of the Great Fox was built after the team's adventures in Dinosaur Planet, fixed and improved from their last one.
But in This World, this one was built after the Subspace War. While Falco helped Diddy rescue Donkey Kong, Fox planned to take down the Halberd with the Great Fox. The Great Fox duels with the Halberd, but it ends up getting tethered to and carried away by it, gets crashed into a mountain, and flies away in smoke. The Star Fox team was able to repair the ship, but it took massive Smash Battles to get enough money.
Events:
Fighters would fight right on top of the ship as it sails across the atmosphere, an asteroid field, down into the planet and over the Corneria city, and through a battle zone. Fighters will have to worry about being caught in the cross-fire; a laser blast can damage them greatly. Not only that, the Great Fox can turn; one minute you're fighting on the back of the ship, and as it turns, you'll have to fight on top of the thrusters and wings. When over the Corneria city, Arwings will try to blast the fighters off the ship.
