The forest of Serenus, while considered a dangerous place, still held a beauty of it's own, except in the few places where an oppressive air hung over the place... And it was such a place Arthur found himself traveling through at a brisk jog, a credit to his stamina, considering he was fully geared for battle. As he jogged, his mind went back to the message that unfortunate man had given him. Monsters... But what foul sort of beast shalt I be forced to face? Dragons, giants? ... Or... heavens forbid, the scourge of mine life... the undead.For... now personal reasons, the knight DESPISED the undead.

Not too far away from Arthur, there was a rustling bush. It shook violently, and made an odd sound. Out of the bush emerged what seemed to be a fish-like creature. It caught sight of the little man and started to hiss.

The knight stopped as the creature came out of the bush, and took a single step back, a lance simply appearing in his hand, as if it had always been present. "I doth suspect thou art one of the foul beasts that threaten the village I art traveling towards..." Arthur then shifted his grip, until he was holding the lance like a javelin. "Begone, foul creature!" And with that as his battle try, he flung the lance with incredible force at the monster. [dice=6][rand=1594548733139797819185712795044474370797683296531739298050176373466]

[dice=6] Arthur sidestepped the fishman's attack, before glancing at its brethren. Without a word, he drew a blue, glowing flask from behind him, and tossed it forward, flames spewing from the top until it hit the ground... And flames rolled forward from the impact towards the fishmen. [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] The knight dodged and ducked under the first three attacks, only to be struck by the fourth, which fortunately knocked him onto his back, allowing him to avoid the final attack. With a frown, Arthur then rolled to the side, and got back to his feet, before turning on the fishmen again, and drawing throwing knives. And in a moment, the air between him and the fishmen was filled with the small flying weapons. 1 [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] 2 [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] 3 [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] 4 [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] 5 [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][rand=1150228495052646529015470557915857411065472256284656303309859085731]

1 - [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] The fish beast escaped the first dagger, only to be shot once in the leg, and then once in the head with the other two. This caused him to fall and vanish, not trophetize, into thin air. Fish Beast 1: 0 HP DEFEATED2 - [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] The second monster was a little more aware after being struck by the first dagger. He jumped backward and over the second dagger, then ducked under the third. Fish Beast 2: 1 HP 3 - [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] The third beast was well aware of the manouver set before him. So he simply jumped to the left, then up high, then downward to avoid all of the daggers. Fish Beast 3: 2 HP 4 - [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] The fourth beast dodged two of the daggers, but was pegged directly in the middle of the forehead with the last, causing him to fall and vanish. Fish Beast 4: 0 HP DEFEATED5 - [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] The same fate went to the fifth Fish Beast. Only this time, he jumped into direct line of fire OF the daggers, sending him to his knees, and then vanishing. Arthur didn't let up his assault, charging into melee range as he drew Excalibur, and brought down two wide swings into the remaining Fishmen. [dice=6][dice=6][rand=924600150872788569087559603434997426914858586916710664376531186]

[dice=6] [dice=6] The one fish beast wasn't fast enough to avoid the sword coming down on it. [dice=6] [dice=6][dice=6] Arthur's surprise at this monster's survival against his assault almost proved to be his undoing, as he was pummeled b the fishman's attacks. Obviously, this sent him to the ground in a plate mailed heap. Rolling back to his feet, the knight's eyes narrowed, and he threw three lances at the monster in retaliation. [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] The fish beast rolled sideways and ducked under the first two lances. But he was unfortunate enough to be struck by the third one, sending him back slightly, only to get angrier. The monster sneered at Arthur before shooting out a long line of water balls. [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] Arthur, to his partial surprise, managed to avoid the volley of attacks, charging towards the fishman before trying to grab him. [dice=6] (grab: on failure to hit, ignore the rest of this post) And if it was successful, he then drew his sword, and performed an uppercut, sending the fishman skyward, before Arthur drew a chain axe. Which he then threw upward at the unfortunate monster, to yank back to earth. [dice=6] (axe)[rand=557630931673957261075316958972064411761735826803530012685867417155]

Seeming unphased b his failure to grab the monster, Arthur stepped towards it, and again swung his sword, intending to cut the fishman in two. [dice=6][rand=554895637557820692169355405789725193591734065582511075635642809]
