Smash City's downtown was busy, as always, especially since people were coming to sign up for the Smash Brothers Tournament.  Including a stoic-looking boy robot, most of his face hidden by a pair of large sunglasses, and the upturned collar of his jacket. He wasn't exactly impressed with Smash City, although it did remind him of Monsteropolis. Then again, he hadn't really liked Monsteropolis, either. Looking up at his companion, a human woman wearing a blue bodysuit, Blues asked the question he'd meant to ask earlier. "Is there some sort of special building we sign up at or something?" |

 "Signups take place at City Hall, it's not too far from here." Samus responded as they left the docking bay. "Hopefully, the line won't be too long, I always sign up late because of the shorter lines." |

 Amidst the crowd, a little yellow Pok?mon was darting about. He was leading his new friend to City Hall, where the signups for the Smash Tournaments always took place. Not only did he have to sign up himself, but it seems Laharl also wanted to as well. But as the electric mouse meandered through the crowds, a particular voice caught his large ears. Immediately he stopped, looking around for the source. And then he saw her. "PIIIKAAA!" Samus would hear, before she was then jumped upon and hugged by a rather happy Pikachu. |

 Being lead by Pikachu was Laharl, he accompanied Pikachu to sign up for a tournament. "This way? Alright." He still followed Pikachu because he was still lost around the city, and he didn't want to bother beating information out of people. Suddenly Laharl saw Pikachu run off to hug someone, but who? "Huh?" He followed Pikachu not knowing who he hugged just yet. |

Samus was surprised to see her fellow competitor and friend leap up on her in greeting. Samus laughed a little and hugged him back. "Hello Pikachu! It's been a long time, huh? Are you signing up again this year?" |

Pikachu hopped off after the initial greeting, and gave Samus a comical thumbs-up. "Pikachu!" He then gestured to Laharl. "Pi, pikachu." |

Blues just looked down at the electric rodent, one eyebrow slipping upwards before he looked up at Samus again. "Who's this?" Another look at Pikachu. "Actually, WHAT is this?" |

He looked down to Pikachu. "Who are you introducing me t..." He looked up at Samus, and got a good look at her...cue the redness and jumping. "GAHHHH, G.G.GET AWAY?!" The overlord ended up behind Pikachu shaking at Samus. "Too...too...CURVY!" |

Blues ALMOST jumped as Laharl more or less flipped out, and just... STARED at him for a minute. "... What's your problem?" A glance at Samus, then a look back at the little overlord. "You afraid of physically fit women or something?" |

Samus couldn't help but smirk at Blues' comment. "I guess he'll be a pushover in the tournament if he always becomes a blundering idiot in front of women...Well, I'll see you around Pikachu, good luck!" Samus started to walk off, doing her best not to burst out laughing at the imagery the cowardice overlord bright to mind. |

And Pikachu just stared, nonplussed, at his newest friend, after waving goodbye to Samus. He then hopped over to Laharl and pat his back, trying to give the suddenly very freaked out overlord some measure of comfort. Sure, Samus could be scary... but really only when she's angry. Pikachu couldn't understand why Laharl was so... fearful... of a happy Samus. |

He looked at Pikachu. "Ah, im ok, don't worry abou...?" Before he could finish, the demon overlord heard some screams close by, following the screams were sounds of blaster rifles going off. Laharl's eyes were drawn to the noise, as it grew louder. "Hm?" |

Rather than follow Samus, Blues looked at Laharl, then started trying to find the source of the weapons fire. That sound was WAY to familiar to him for him to try to ignore. |
