Moveset:
Special Moves:
Standard Attack – Fire Ball: Zedonius hurls a fireball at his opponent.
Upward Attack – Ascend: Zedonius makes use of his wings and flies upward. This is very much like Pit’s up + B.
Downward Attack – Burst: Zedonius ignites as he bursts downward into the ground. The longer this attack is charged, the more powerful it will be.
Side Attack – Fire Punch: Zedonius uses one of his four fists to punch at the enemy. If he’s lucky enough, he will catch the opponent in a grab and burn them. The dice rolled for the grab after the punch, will be lowered to a 3 rather than a 6 sided die to weaken the chances of a successful grab.
Regular Attacks:
(A) Standard Attack – Punch: Zedonius uses his most forward fist to punch out at the enemy.
(A) Upward Attack – Kick: Zedonius will lift his leg up and kick toward the sky.
(A) Downward Attack – Punch (Down): Zedonius will punch downward at the ground, kneeling slightly as he does so.
(A) Side Attack – Fire Palm: Zedonius’ palm sends off a slight flame that burns the enemy. (This works more similar to a punch than a special move.)
Aerials:
Standard Aerial - Backfist: Zedonius uses the back of his hand to smack whatever is near him.
Upward Aerial - 360 Kick: Zedonius kicks his heels upward and spins in a 360 degree circle, hitting what’s above or even around him.
Downward Aerial - Heel: Zedonius uses his heels to kick downward and onto what’s below him. This sends him down quite sharply.
Side Aerial - Hook Punch: Zedonius hooks his arm around and punches the enemy in front of him.
Smash Attacks:
Upward Smash - Flame: Zedonius charges up then looks upward, releasing some fire out of his mouth and at the enemy above.
Downward Smash - Flame Fist: Zedonius Charges up his fist, then punches at the ground with a firey blow.
Side Smash - Combustion: Zedonius charges up his whole body, eventually omitting flames.
Grabs:
Grab 1 – Blazing Choke: Zedonius grabs the opponent by the neck and lifts them high, chocking them and burning them at the same time.
Grab 2 – Forceful Palm: Zedonius grabs his enemy by the back of the collar and drags them down to the floor, eventually throwing his palm on their spine with his closest hand.
Taunts:
Upward Taunt – Zedonius spins in place while igniting himself on fire and yells, “Impudent Apes!”
Downward Taunt – Zedonius cackles while his tongue sticks out of his mouth and he flies slightly upward.
Side Taunt – Zedonius creates a tiny flame no bigger than a cigarette lighter between his fingers as he snaps them.
Final Smash:
Beat Down - Zedonius grabs the opponent in front of him and beats down on whoever he grabbed. It starts by him picking up the character and releasing some flames on them, then it goes to him grabbing their leg and holding them upside down. This leads to him beating on the body with his free arms (he has four arms). Afterwards he slams the body downward in one powerful final blow. The dice rolled for this move is an 8 sided die. It all goes on for one turn, and if the grab on the character (or characters) is unsuccessful, then the Final Smash has been wasted and no damage will be done.
Weaknesses:
Water, blades, swiftness, having told that he’s not as great as a human, several swift attacks used repeatedly on one part of his body, easily distracted, easily grabbed/hit because he's large, thinks he's greater than what he really is.
Personality:
A power hungry monster with a hatred toward humanity describes him well. He hates humans to the point where he randomly tries to obliterate them all without mercy. He goes out in search of a place he can call home, away from the ‘monkeys’ or ‘apes’ as he calls them, as they drive him mad upon sight. Aside from his hatred toward humanity, he’s fairly secluded and to his own. He sits on top of high edges, and just observes those who come near. He feels he is the greatest, grandest, and most powerful being alive aside from the Archfiend which he just about worships. If the Archfiend says it, it must be right, and he honors his word. He's very untrusting of others.
Likes:
Heights, fire, warmth, destructing humans, his own world full of fiends, the Archfiend.
Dislikes:
Humans, cities, blades, water, the cold, Ryu Hyabusa, being beaten.
Appearance:
History:
The Ruler of Flame and one of the four Greater Fiends, Zedonius has nothing but contempt for human life, often addressing them as "apes" and "monkeys". Hoping to gain an upper hand in the struggle for ninja superiority, Genshin, the Overlord of the Black Spider Ninja Clan, enters into an uneasy allegiance with the Fiends and resurrects them. Zedonius descends upon the capital of a once-great military superpower, threatening humanity with an ultimatum: submit to the will of the Fiends or die. Ryu Hyabusa ascended the city's clock tower to put an end to his fearsome reign, and did so of course. According to Zedonius, it was he who bestowed the gift of fire upon humans centuries ago, but no one knows if this is actually true or not.
Even though Ryu had thought he destroyed Zedonius, he did not. Zedonius appeared later on in a lava filled battlefield before the climactic battle with the Archfiend. Zedonius was twice in power here, having been ressurected by the fiends at full potential. Zedonius and Ryu Hyabusa fought in a one on one match in the element of fire, putting Ryu at the disadvantage. But this, of course, did not put Zedonius as the victor. Ryu had vanquished him, sending him to the deepest pits of hell and claimed his heart.
Even though Zedonius' heart was taken and he was vanquished, this wasn't enough to rid him yet. Instead of going to hell, where he was supposed to go, he fell through some kind of portal that led him to and odd place, This World.
