Mt. Aleph, the legendary mountain of Alchemy. It is possibly one of the highest land marks in the world of Smash, one could see for miles on its great peek. The mountain has been barren, so no one lives near it...no one, but one young boy. A swordsman in light armor and a yellow scarf flowing in the wind, approached the base of the mountain slowly. He put his hand on the side of the mountain filling it with yellow energy as a long, stone staircase formed along the wall. the lad took his palm off of the wall and started to climb the secret stairs, slowly coming up to his home. 'I'm almost there...almost home.' Isaac told himself.

"I'm...almost...there!" King Dedede gasped. He reached for the next ledge above his head, and pulled himself up with the last of his strength. He had been climbing Mt. Aleph to prove that he was indeed the strongest fighter in the world of Smash...especially better than that Kirby! The small trio of Waddle Dees behind him were his witnesses. The ledge was wide enough for him to sit, so he did. He adjusted his cap and looked down at his minions. They were still behind, but not too far behind. "You lazy bums!" he scolded them loudly, "You're holding me back! If it weren't for you, I would've climbed up the mountain and down already! TWICE!" He sighed and wiped off tiny beads of sweat that had been forming on his forehead. "I guess I'll just have to sit here and wait for you all!" he said angrily. He started to get comfy and closed his eyes for a quick nap. Footsteps in the background interrupted his attempt for a rest. He got up quickly growling and walked towards the noise. On the other side of the ledge, the rock of the mountain was carved into a staircase. "EXCELLENT!" the king exclaimed in joy and ran back to his team. "Hurry, hurry, you slowpokes!" he cried, "there's a shortcut to the top and we're taking it!!" He helped them up and ran back to the staircase. The four ran up the stairs with great gusto and no shame whatsoever. "This is gonna be a piece of--" he stopped when he noticed a young, blond boy ahead of them. Some punk was gonna get to the top first and take all the glory, Dedede thought to himself. He ran up to the boy, violently pushing him aside. "Make way for the king, little boy!" he demanded with the Waddle Dees following him, "Did you leave your manners at the bottom of the mountain?" He chuckled and continued to race up the staircase.

Issac was caught off guard by the unusual penguin king, his push made him stumble back and fall onto the side of the mountain; but he quickly slammed his hand on the side making a platform under him, breaking his fall. Isaac sat up rubbing his head looking at Dedede. "What in the world..." The young swordsman stood up and put his hand against the wall, as yellow energy flowed though the rock. "I can't allow you to reach the summit!" Believing the king was an intruder, which he most definitely is; the Earth Adept started to morph the stair case back into rough mountain side, attempting to make Dedede fall. [dice=6] The rock below him began to shake and King Dedede knew something bad was about to happen. As rock molded back into a regular mountain side, he took a deep breath and jumped off. The Waddle Dees hopped off too and grabbed onto their king's foot. He exhaled when he found a ledge they could stand safely on. He stood with his back against the mountain and tips of his toes just one or two centimeters from the edge. "You little brrrat!" the king yelled shaking his fist, "You just want all the glory to yourself, don't you? You selfish little pig--OI!" He lost his balance but fell backwards onto the wall of rock again. "Y-you just watch! I'll make it up to the top without your petty little staircase!" he told the boy, sidestepping his way across with his troop following. "Nothing can stop me! Not even rocks!" he kicked a tiny pebble off the ledge. [rand=83524322311504042749272625428680354322386248337519307462407618367]

Isaac looked at Dedede with abit of a shocked look on his face, he never expected the large penguin would have the ability to leap that far; but then again hes seen crazier things. Expect the unexpected as a wise figure once said, Isaac reached for his sword hilt but then realized what Dedede said; he just wanted to climb the mountain. What would the king hope to accomplish with such an insane feet? Isaac took his sword off and asked Dedede. "What do you hope to prove by reaching the summit, how insane you are?"

King Dedede stopped upon hearing the boy's question. He turned his head to look over his shoulder, at the blond. The king noticed the sword in his hands, but didn't think much could be done with it...he was too far way and it couldn't cause any damage. He laughed lightly at the question and turned himself around. He thought it'd be safe to poke some fun. "I see you're not only a cantankerous rug rat, but you're not very bright either!" he replied nonchalant, but with some annoyance in his voice. "By reaching the tippy top of this giant rock," he patted the mountain softly, "I shall prove to others of my great power and endurance! And also my bravery...! As far as I know, no one has dared to climb this thing..." He froze and thought. "AND I assure you, they have not attempted to climb because they are sane! They just don't have nearly as much courage and faith as I do." He brushed some dust and pebbles off of his robe coolly. "But look who's talking, smart guy!" he snapped, "What can you possibly be doing here? Besides causing trouble for humble, busy people such as I!" He began to guess while stroking his chin, "Perhaps, brushing up on your magic act? From what I've seen you need much more practice, buster! I am not amused nor do I have time to be your lovely assistant."

At that moment Ion appeared at the base of the mountain; disturbed from his eternal rest. He blinked and took a look of his surroundings. "How strange...I thought my job was done. But if I was sent here, it must have been out of Lorelei's will. He must have a new purpose for me." He took a couple of steps, still surveying the area. "But where am I?" He looked up and decided that if he appeared in front of a mountain, that he should climb it and he would find the answers he was searching for. In addition to that, it seemed that there were some creatures already climbing it that might be able to help him. So while trying to catch up to them, he climbed up Mt. Aleph slowly, almost losing his grip and falling down more than a couple of times and it wasn't long before he was starting to feel tired. Thankfully he was almost at a ledge big enough so that he could rest on it. He used up all of his upper strength bringing his body onto the ledge. He made a quick prayer to Lorelei, thanking him before he noticed that he was close to one of the creatures, a blond man. "Hello. I am Ion. Could you tell me where this is?"

Isaac looked annoyed by Dedede, climbing the mountain just to prove one's strength? This decision only showed the swordsman how foolish the king was. With a deep breath he said. "Look here you, if you continue then..." Before Isaac could finish his warning, he sensed someone behind him drawing his sword at the newcomer. When he realized who it was, he stopped his sword before it even touched Ion's neck; leaving it slightly over his skin. Isaac looked surprised, who was this person, and how did such a frail one climb all the way up here so quickly? Other questions came to his head too...there was something very different about this person, aura wise anyway, it seemed foreign. However his eyes seemed to have a serene and peaceful glow to them, Isaac knew he wasn't an enemy; and even if he was he doubt he would pose too big a threat. The Earth Adept withdrew his blade from the Fon Master's neck, and sheathed it back. "I'm sorry si...maa...err anyway sorry, this is Mt. Aleph; who are you?" Isaac was focused on Ion, forgetting about the greedy king of Dream Land; the perfect chance for Dedede to continue his decent on the mountain.

"HMPH! Another one?!" the king grumbled loudly after hearing the soft voice. "Everyone's stealing my brillant idea!" he told the Waddle Dees. He pouted and reached for the next ledge above, but kept an eye on Ion. He was charmed by Ion's polite greeting and delicate appearence...and was completely unaware of his gender. Angered by the blond's action, he took a Waddle Dee and threw it at him. [dice=6] "How dare you approach a lady in such a way, you beast!" Dedede scolded, shaking a fist. He climbed another ledge. As he did he mumbled, "You simply have no concern for others..." He stopped to look at Ion again. "If you're planning to reach the top first you're out of luck, ma'am. However, you seem like a nice little girl and I will be happy to give you second place...!" [rand=3936953008430828482114457070214258733799321672451859095985576774]

Ion remained calm when the blond had drew his sword at him. He completely understood that it was to make sure that he didn't pose a threat. "Mt. Aleph....." He whispered. He had never heard of such a place before...He asked, "I'm not in Auldrant anymore, am I?" unsure, with a tinge of fear in his voice. It was apparent that his question was not directed to anyone. His thoughts were broken by the king's yelling and the Fon Master's eyes quickly went to the penguin. "Umm, I think you have been in the sun for too long. There are no ladies here...Perhaps you should rest?"

[dice=6] Isaac looked at Ion forgetting about Dedede completely, he started to ask Ion. "Auldra..." But he was interrupted again with a hard Waddle Dee to the head, the impact made the young warrior fall to the ground; he was only lucky it wasn't something harder like a large rock. Speaking of which the mountain began to shake a bit, giving the feeling that something big was coming down. With the shaking feeling around him, the Earth Adept quickly brought himself to his feet and looked at the newcomers. "Embrace yourselves, quickly!" He hoped these two newcomers had enough experience to dodge a passing landslide, Dedede looked pretty stout so he might not have a problem. Ion on the other hand...[rand=157942079847344320321546935382125735748308388189079442621891035]

" 'Embrace ourselves?'", King Dedede repeated. With a deep breath, he hopped off the edge and floated down onto the same level as Ion and Isaac. He pushed Issac aside and nastily asked, "Oh, what do you know? You're just a child!" The king didn't seem to notice the shaking, and he turned to Ion. "Don't be so modest!" he exclaimed, "Of course you're a lady! You're adorable!" He then knelt down in front of Ion, taking his hand and then kissed it softly. Ion's outfit had a regal feeling to it and his appearance gave the sense that he was royalty. The king noticed and couldn't help but state after getting up, "You must be some sort of Princess!" "What kingdom do you hail from, little miss?" he asked stroking underneath Ion's chin with a finger.

The little shaking of the mountain almost brought Ion down to his knees. He grabbed the rocks to the side of him to hold on to when he was approached by the penguin in an odd manner. He didn't really know what to think of the other's actions. However, he wasn't going to repeat himself. If he had learned anything from his previous years, it was that if you tell someone something and they have already convinced themselves otherwise, they will not listen to you that time or the other times you tell them. He felt a little bit uncomfortable when Dedede started stroking his chin but he did his best to ignore it. After all, it didn't seem like he was a bad guy. He was more like confused in the head. "I am not a princess. However I used to be the leader of the Order of Lorelei..." His voice faded as he recalled upon his previous life. He hoped that everything was well there...He opened his mouth to speak again. "In matter of fact, I may have well be sent here by Lorelei himself although I am not too certain what he wants me to do here." It was then that the Fon Master was hit with an idea. With his strength, he doubted that he would be able to get anywhere without being captured, tiring out, getting attacked by monsters, or anything else of the like. This penguin guy looked strong. After all, he was just climbing the mountain with ease. "Well, in any case. I need someone to escort me to the top of this place. Since you seem like you are already heading there, would you mind?"

Isaac was pushed away by Dedede quite abruptly, he sure is making it hard for him to help the newcomer; he watched at the penguin kept toying with the young boy. Isaac however knew his gender when he first called it out, but he still couldn't believe he was a boy...then again he knew a couple of nameless warriors that were mistaken to be female too so it was understandable. But there was no time for this, he quickly stood up and got between the two. "Stop this now, we have to get somewhere safe before the landslide kicks in?!" And just as the boy said those words, the shaking got worse and worse until the mountain finally sent in the boulders rolling down to the three of them. [dice=6] (Isaac) [dice=6] (Dedede) [dice=6] (Ion) [dice=6] Isaac should have been prepared for the boulders, but he soon found himself hit by a rock hard sending him off the cliff. It looked to be the end but the Earth Adept quickly held out his hand as yellow energy merged out again, out of the energy lashed out a leaf covered vine as it latched on to the ledge ,allowing Isaac to hang there bouncing on it like a bungee cord. Damage wise Isaac was mostly OK, though it would be hard for him to climb up the vine since the rock seemed to have hit him so hard he was temporally paralyzed. "Ah perfect..." The blond said with his voice in a sarcastic tone.[rand=782295144494713428063358304597696629566944127466517666322304437188]

"Order of Lorelei...? I'm afraid I've no idea what you are talking about... Perhaps YOU'VE been out in the sun for too long!," Dedede laughed. But he truly didn't know who or what Lorelei was...so he laughed it off. He took Ion's hand and shook it rapidly, "Of course I will escort to the top! It would be a pleasure! No trouble! No trouble at all!" He kept Ion's hand in his possesion as he walked under a ledge to climb. "Anything for a fair lady of 'Lorelei' " he said teasingly when he released Ion's hand to bow. [dice=6] He began to climb, but was knocked down by boulders falling due to the rock slide. His head made impact with the rock and then the floor. Suffering from a major head injury, he laid there out cold. His army circled him immediately. They all looked at each other; They didn't know what to do or what could be done.
