Isaac just stood there as Dedede rushed back inside, Does this guy ever have anything nice to say to him? Ah well it didn't matter, he looked at Ion telling him. "Well at night its hard to see the incoming rock sli...wait a moment!" Isaac looked around wondering. Where were the rock slide noise's? He then looked up to find the dark clouds forming apon the peek of the mountain, he felt his heart shake. "Oh no..." His eyes were so fixed on the mountain peek, obviously something big was coming. The Earth Adept looked past the door to his guests. "Wait here all of you, if I'm not back in 10 minutes run far from the mountain!" The boy ran to the wall making a long stone staircase along the wall of the mountain Eye of the Tiger!, he ran up it approaching the darkness.

King Dedede looked at Ion, then Florian, and then Ion again. "Ion! I had no clue you had a twin sister!" the king exclaimed happily and flushed a little, "The more the merrier!" He frowned at Florian's comment and replied sourly, "Please! I might be husky, but I am most certainly not smelly! What you may be smelling is that boy, Isaac. He's a peasant you know and probably can't afford to bathe often!" He smirked at Anise and bowed, "It's nice to meet you, Anise!" He began to tease, "Aren't you cute? And smart too! Of course I am powerful! Why, I am the mighty , super special awesome king of Dream Land! I vast world filled with beauty and-" But he was interrupted by Florian. He noticed his robe on the couch and took it in his arms. As he put it back on, he chuckled softly, "Ladies please, there's no need to fight over me! I think you're all adorable and I will be happy to protect all of you!" Meanwhile the Waddle Dees, awaken when Anise and Florian appeared, sighed in embarrassment. He turned when Isaac left and warned them, but he ignored it. "Don't you worry, you'll all be safe as long as I'm here! Please do not begin to cry, I cannot stand the sight or sound of young women crying!"

"Dreamland...I've never heard of it. That must mean you're nothing special." Anise shook her head. "I wasted my charms on you. But thanks for calling me cute~" Florian had backed away as far as he could from Dedede. He was now against the wall. He was still holding onto Anise, his arm stretched out to reach her. Ion was starting to doubt the king and his intentions. He thought even though he was a bit outgoing, he was a good-willed person. But flirting with all of them...that was a bit too much for him to take. He looked at the door and wondered of Isaac was alright. He walked towards the exit, putting his hand against the wood. He suddenly gripped the knob with the same hand and opened the door, walking out. Maybe with all the ruckus going on inside, no one would notice his absence...

Eventually, Isaac's long run up the mountainside ended. He lept from the last stone step onto the peek. Even at night the view from the mountain was astonishing, you could see many famous landmarks for miles...but this wasn't the time to sightsee. Isaac looked around the dark clouds covering the mountain top, and drew his sword out. "I know your out there, show yourself!" The Earth Adept demanded.

Thunder cracked downwards and bursted into a giant crackling mess, opening a large greenish portal. The portal grew a deeper and deeper purple, and then slowly changed into black. The darkness was so deep in color, it was even darker than the night itself. Out of the dark a man-like figure plopped out and onto the mountain's ground. It felt it's head and said in a low voice, "Damn those hands..." It, which apparently was a "he" turned around toward the sound of the voice and hissed. Nothing could really be seen of the creature aside from the glowing yellow eyes, peering back at the earth adept.

The king would've been awfully angry and have something to say about Anise's reply, but his attention was on Ion. Though he couldn't help being interested in the others, his favorite was indeed Ion. "Ion! Hey! Where are you going?" he called running after him, "Its unsafe out there!" He caught Ion by the hand and let the door slam behind him. He took Ion's hands and pulled him close. "Look what you've done you crazy girl!" he yelled shaking Ion, "Now we're where the wild things are!" He remembered about Isaac and how he ran out on them. "If its that peasant you're after, I assure you he's too poor for you! And he doesn't know anything about how to treat a woman; Don't you see how he abandoned you in your time of need?!" He began to shake Ion again, this time more rapidly, "Why are you so blind to everything around youuuu?" "Just don't leave Ion! I'd be crushed if anything happened! You're so important to me!" He was on his knees when something shifted in the darkness close by. The king noticed and pushed Ion behind him. He stood in a fighter's stance and was now in the mood to fight. Whatever was out there moved closer and made itself visible in the moonlight. It was just a small child in a short green dress and red hat. In her hands was a palette and paint brush. The beautiful colors were reflected brilliantly in the little light there was. "Heeeeeey!" she mumbled, "How come you don't talk to ME like that, fatty?" There was something in her voice that told she was teasing. "I'm kinda important too..." "Adeleine?!" the king uttered, "How? Why? You ruined the momment, you wench!" He quickly looked to his left then right. "Argh, I wish I had someone to throw at you!"

Ion looked away from the king, his cheeks flushed. He was a bit embarrassed, especially since he was never talked to in such a way before. Of course it was because he wasn't a lady but still it was nice...He started to doubt his judge of character again and decided that there really wasn't enough information to tell whether Dedede had good intentions or not. After all, they haven't even known each other for two days yet. He blinked when the child suddenly appeared before them and then realized why Dedede was talking to all of them before like that aside from the child. It was because he thought they were girls and the one before them clearly was a little boy as far as he could tell. "Perhaps..." He started and then continued "Perhaps it is because King Dedede doesn't take interest in boys." Anise looked at the door where Ion previously was. If that guy didn't come back, it means they were in trouble and her guardian instincts were tingling. "Wait here." She said to Florian before rushing outside. She looked to the top of the mountain where the dark clouds had formed. There was evil around and she couldn't let it get near Ion or Florian. She noticed the stairs that Isaac had made and rushed up them.

Even though he couldn't see the figure beyond his piecing yellow eyes, Isaac knew deep down in his heart he wasn't friendly. The young man gripped his sword handle tightly; while planting his feel firmly into the ground. "Who are you?" He asked the dark being. Meanwhile on the base of the mountain, another warrior was slowly approaching the start of the mountain. He simply looked up at the peak. "Isaac..."

Anima straightened his back and stayed in the dark area. He stayed quiet for a while, just peering off at Isaac, "Why is it you want to know my name?" he said in a very deep tone. "What importance is it to you?" The creature just stood its ground and gazed directly into the eyes of Isaac. He could see him perfectly, and he knew he was going to attack, but Anima showed no fear. His eyes narrowed and he stated as he stretched, "Perhaps you could tell me just where in Subspace am I?" he then went on, "or are you so incompetant you don't know." Anima gave off a lack of emotion, and still stayed in the dark, trying not to reaveal himself until he gets some answers.

Adeleine blinked at Ion and then lowered her head a little in embarrassment. "But I'm a girl!" she said, stomping her foot lightly. She walked up to the king and wagged her paint brush in his face, "And if I was a boy, that doesn't mean he should talk to me like that!" "You're just jealous that Ion's prettier than you," Dedede told her smiling, pushing her brush away. "But has nothing to do with anything!" she whined, "I'm talking about yo-!" "What force brought you here Adeleine? I must remember to destroy it for doing so and ruining the serenity of this place!" "I was just painting in art class, and then somehow I woke up here!" she said innocently, "But I was at the bottom... I painted a cave and it lead me t' this guy's house. I took me all day to walking through it and you're not even happy t' see me...!" Her mood and attitude changed as she remembered seeing Isaac. "Hey! Did anyone see that guy running up the mountain?" she said pointing to the top with her brush, "He up there like he left the water running or somethin'!" King Dedede looked to the peak and grumbled. "No, you stupid girl! There's something evil stirring up there..Just look at the colours of those clouds!" "Yeah! They're really pretty. I wish I had a canvas t' paint them on!" " Artists..."

(From One Winged Pain thread...) Like a knife to butter, a streak of gold zipped across those clouds, ripping them in half. It was like a jet flew by, if they were to hear some kind of thruster sound.

Whilst she was making her ascent she heard a sound and paused for a moment to look up and saw a streak of light pass by. "Wonder what that was..." She stated before she went up the rest of the stairs. She saw the boy from before and he seemed to be talking to someone that was well hidden. For safety's sake she prepared for battle, enlarging Tokunaga and hopping on his head. "Who's over there?" She asked Isaac before saying to no one in particular. "If this is a bad guy I have to kill him to protect Ion! Oh Ion, I hope he'll be okay down there..." Ion still thought that she was a boy. "It's okay to be a boy and like art. You'll get teased, but you don't have to pretend you're a girl." He was unknowingly committing the same crime against her that Dedede has against him. At the mention of evil stirring at the top of the mountain Ion looked up to the peak and stated. "I wonder if Anise is going to be okay. She went that way...Perhaps I should help!" He started to walk towards the stairs on the side of the mountain. Florian had timidly walked outside as well. He didn't feel comfortable in a house all by himself, there could have been a monster under the couch and there would be no one to protect him. He walked towards the new girl that appeared and clung to her. He felt like he could trust her more than those other two...

Isaac looked at Anise. "I'm not sure...but one thing is for certain: He isn't friendly." He took a step towards the silhouette ignoring the jet thrusting noise, while getting in a battle stance. "You are on the peak of Mt. Aleph, now I have a question for you. Why are you here?" The Earth Adept knew he probably wouldn't answer so quickly, but he hoped anyway. The newcomer made a stair case along the wall, just like Isaac did before. He quickly climbed up all the way to Dedede's area. But before he continued to follow Isaac's trail, he looked at Dedede and the others. "..." It was pretty dark, so he was hard to see from far off.

The figure scoffed at Isaac's question, "Would you mind telling me why would I have asked where I was if I had a reason to be on this pathetic mountain top!?" The man stepped out into the moonlight to reveal a...a weird reptillian humanoid all dressed in weird desert style clothing. There seemed not to be too many creatures like this around This World, and let alone the usually peaceful Mt. Aleph. "Your a waste of my time." The creature hissed as he turned and started to head off the mountain side.

"But I'm not a BOY!" Adeleine cried again and began to stomp around, "ImnotImnotImnot!" "Silence, little boy!" the king demanded (more seriously than you'd think ;o). He grabbed Adeleine by her arm and pulled her close to his side. He felt something stirring and watching them. He squinted into the darkness, trying to see what he sensed, but it began to hurt. He winched and rubbed his eye vigorously. "What?" she asked suspiciously. "I thought there was something there, but--" "FAIL!" Adeleine pointed at Dedede and giggled. "I think you need some sleep." He stretched and rolled his shoulders. "Agreed! I say lets investigate all this in the morning, hm?" He stopped suddenly when he noticed Ion walking up the mountain. He was worried but was also somewhat annoyed. Had Ion forgotten all that Dedede told him? the king wondered. No matter. "Ion wait!" he called, pulling out a giant hammer, "You might get hurt and cut your pretty, porcelain skin!" "Hey, wait fo-" Adeleine began to chase after her king but was pulled back by Florian. "Ew!" she couldn't help but say. She was kind of jealous of Ion and the thought another one of him was...gross. She coughed and said, "Uh- Don't be scared, I'll protect you!" when she realized what she blurbed was very rude and very inappropriate.
