A hero can be described as someone who faces all odds for very little in return, perhaps even going past their limits to help keep a promise. Adell however, was doing the impossible by treading in an underground watery path, which probably wasn't the best gambit for him in the first place. "Wish I knew it was knee high, now I can't fight effectively..." Adell's power mainly revolved around a certain element, around water it's severely weakened. However Adell had to go through this path. From what he reread in the book and heard from the old man, the front gate was heavily guarded by a large horde of monsters, he could have taken the back door but Adell had a feeling there might be a surprise waiting there. The Waterway however had the lowest security, and since Adell wasn't equipped to go in an all out assault he took the safer path of the three. "If I can just keep my arms dry ill be fine."

Following this guy was getting quite annoying. Of all the places he had to take was the 'sewers', and the waterway was nearly up to her neck, she was short. And since Brass was so small, Erika had to piggy-back her. "I am just so glad this tunnel hardly smells like poo-gas." "Hmmm..." If Brass shad the ability, and the eye-lids, her pink eyes would be blinking rapidly. "Miss Erika! I do believe we have those sea-legs part we won from Ikki in that bet." "That's right!!!" Luckily, Erika brought all her Meda-Parts back in the space colony, so... "Transport Meda-Part!!!" she called, jamming her thumb on her Meda-Watch. Her school-girl legs shined, forming together into a fish tail. The light faded, revealing Brass' new part; a red shirt over robotic mermaid tail. Brass widened her eyes. "I did not realize they were from Oceana's. Uh...h-how...?" "Never mind, Brass." Moving Brass in front of her, now Erika was riding on her. "Just swim." "Of course!" Brass waved her mermaid tail in the water....and somehow BLASTED through the tunnel, cutting through the water like butter. "WHOOOOAAAA!!!! I AM SORRY! I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CONTROL THIS..." "AAAAAAHHH!!!" All Erika can do was close her eyes and hang on, hoping this ride will end. "EXCUSE MEEEEE!!!!" Brass screamed, trying to sway around Adell she's about to crash into. But moving as fast as a torpedo, it was hard to control herself. [dice=6][rand=3628213935942783495464343877848051013896957895490449015049274023903]

In another part of the sewers, there seemed to be a dark, swirling formation, just floating in the air, simply watching the water. Then all of a sudden, it spit out something - a young girl. She fell into the water with a splash. Instantly, her head popped up out of the water and she gasped for breath, coughing a bit. Shaking her head to get the water off her face, she opened her eyes. She took a quick look around. As soon as she found out she was in a sewer, her eyes widened. Not from the fact that she was standing up to her chest in sewage water, but from something else... Her companion was nowhere to be found. Could he still be underwater? Diving underwater might not be the first idea that she'd go with, but in a case like this, she had to make exceptions. Quickly she dove in, searching the bottom frantically. Coming up empty handed, she tried calling out to him. "Raphael?" She called out, "Rapheal?! Father?!" She called out for a bit, but started to cry after there had been no reply. Though she could hear a distant sound of rapid kicking, she paid no mind to it, as she knew that her foster father had no such power of doing so.

[dice=6] Despite Brass' kind yet abrupt warning, she was too late. While Adell was turning around he suddenly found himself slammed into by a little girl and her robot, water bike robot...thing. "ACK!?" He looked to Erika growling. "Yo, whats the bi...eh, a little girl?" Adell was surprised, what was a kid doing in a scary place like this? Then again Hanako and Taro go wherever they want, however they were demons. This just looked like a human girl.[rand=01612380559157489998855210392535172075171509694848734814334428668]

The hit knocked her out, completely into dizziness as she sank into the water. "AAahhh *garg, garg, garg*..." Surfacing, Brass then pulled Erika up, hooking Erika's arm around her neck. "Um...hello?" she sheepishly greeted to Adell.

Adell got back in the water with his arms still dry, thankfully. He looked over at the two of them confused. "How'd you two get in here, and why? This place it pretty dangerous ya know!" Even though Adell didn't know the child and robot, he still felt if they were left alone it would end badly for them.

Amy heard voices, but refused to look around the area. She was still scared over the loss of her father.8

"Uh...well..." Brass prayed that Erika will wake up very soon. And thank goodness for Brass' sake that her Meda-Fighter snapped out of her dizziness. "Ow...Brass, what just happened?" she asked, massaging her head. "Oh sorry, Miss Erika, but I'm afraid we've been found out." "Found out of...?" The girl gulped when she noticed she was before the red-haired hero she was following, "Uh...oh boy!! Those contacts lens of mine sure slips out easily. Uh...help me look for them, Brass!" And she dived under the water. "Uh...but Miss Erika...you don't wear-" Erika's arm rose on the surface and hammered the robot's head. "Ow!"

As battle crazed and single minded as Adell was, he was by no means a fool. He grabbed Erika's arm when it came up and pulled her up out of the water looking at her in the eye. "Let me guess, your some kinda fan of haunted and scary castles. Right?" Of course, the red haired hero didn't know if that was the reason she came, but it was the only thing he could think of right now.

Though she had repeatedly told herself not to go, Amy eventually decided to track down whoever was having a conversation. They may be able to help her get back to Rapheal. ...On the other hand, they may be power hungry villains. Just in case the latter was the truth, she readied her rapier in her hand and started walking to wherever the voices were coming from. She turned a corner - a long tunnel. She walked down that one. She turned to her left. Another tunnel. She walked down that one. Soon, she felt nothing beneath herself, so she had to resort to swimming through the sewers with a sad look on her face. She came to the end of that hall, and she saw a red haired boy grabbing onto the arm of a young girl in overalls. Next to the girl was a drenched machine. Not wanting to be the first to say anything, she waited for a bit to find out their reason for being in the sewers.

"Uh...I slipped and I fell!" Erika nervously said, trying to pry her arm out.

The boy just blinked at the girl trying to get out, is this kid for real? He thought. Feeling sorry for Erika, Adell decided to let her down. "So, who are you. Wanna try the truth this time?" Adell crossed his arms against his well toned chest, waiting for an answer from her.

"..." Amy remained silent and continued to watch. It seems that these people had just met, and one was questioning the other. She had happened to be a bit far back, but was able to hear clearly. Maybe she wouldn't be seen afterall...

All out of weak excuses, the girl bashfully looked down, twiddling her fingers. "Uh, well..." "Uh...hello. I am Brass and this is my Meda-Fighter, Erika. We mysteriously were sent to this forest, and we seek for assistants."

Meta-fighter? Is that some kind of new character title? In any case, Adell let his arms down looking over at Brass. "Mysteriously sent here for assistants, what are you two on some kinda mission?" Adell decided to go with Brass' story, at least for now.
