The Arwing 2 and Cloudrunner have both been sailing though the skies of the world, over a giant mass of land, they're destination approaching fast.  Piloting the Arwing 2 was none other then Fox McCloud, leader of Star Fox and a smasher with perfect attendance. "Mario, how are you holding up?" He looked behind him in the passengers seat; while still having a good handle on the pilot gear.  Meanwhile in the Cloudrunner, its pilot Krystal was following Fox's Arwing silently. "The Region seems safe, its almost haunting...I hope this disturbance is simply a mistake." For those of you wondering, Team Star Fox had recently gotten some strange readings coming from the Sauria Region, but since Falco and Slippy were busy with another mission; Fox had to enlist the aid of an old friend, his girlfriend and a newcomer. |

 Mario paused from looking out the side of the cockpit and turned to Fox. "I'm-a fine, Fox, thanks-a for asking," he replied, "I'm-a not a complete stranger to-a flying, you know..." Although he was certainly fine with flying, there was one thing Mario was not doing as well in: energy. He hadn't slept at all since the day before, and the fight with Sonic (and Laharl) was already quite draining enough. He tried sleeping during the flight, but trying to take a nap in such cramped quarters was nearly impossible. Oh well... He'd been through worse, he could handle this... Hopefully. |

 Mega Man, meanwhile, was OUTSIDE the two fighters, riding Rush in jet form with a practiced skill, almost flying in formation with the two fighters. He was quiet, deep in thought as his canine companion stayed with Star Fox's ships. He wasn't sure what he was going to encounter in this "Sauria:" region, but Krystal had mentioned dinosaurs... So in This World the dinosaurs weren't extinct. Of course, there'd been dinosaurs in his world, too, but those were robots. ... "Oh of course, this should be nothing for you." Fox had heard about Mario's death defying flights though the air, matter of fact, he recently heard about him traveling though space without the help of a ship. But thats enough of that, they were almost to the target. "OK, we're reaching our target." They were flying down to a village, about ready to land. The fox girl followed down too, until they both landed near the village. So and the other fox jumped out of they're cockpits and into grass, Krystal looked around the seemingly peaceful village. "Oh good, nothings happened to the Lightfoots." |

Mario climbed out of the Arwing as soon as it landed. Well... "Fell out" was probably a better term. Truth be told, Mario was much more familiar with flying without an aircraft than he was with one. At any rate, Mario got up off the ground, dusted himself off, and looked around. It seemed to be a wooded area, and all was quiet... A bit too quiet for the plumber. But then again, he trusted Fox, and it seemed like Krystal knew these characters personally. "So..." Mario began, staying rather close to Fox in case anything funny happened, "Who-a are these-a Lightfoots?... Lightfeet?... Lightfoot?..." |

Mega Man hopped off of Rush as the dog flew overhead, landing with a loud, metallic THUMP before whistling to his dog. "Rush! Come here, boy!"  Who, with a bark, swooped down, and transformed in midair back into being... just a robot dog. He then trotted over to the boy robot, and sat next to him, as his owner looked around. Every instinct was telling Mega Man that there was some kind of trap. It was quiet, it looked like nothing was going on, which was usually RIGHT when the armies of killer robots showed up... but he didn't let any of this show except for his left hand clenching into a fist. |

"The Lightfoot Dinosaurs are very Territorial, don't worry though, Krystal and I will negotiate with them..." Even though Fox knew this area like the back of his hand, he couldn't help but feel something was wrong. He had one of his hands over his Blaster holster, just in case. "But, something isn't right..." The silence worried Krystal too, perhaps the Dinosaurs were attacked by the unknown reading after all. Fearing the worst, Krystal put on hand on the shaft of her staff, preparing herself. "Please, let this bad feeling pass. Let them be alright..." She prayed to herself. |

"Territorial, huh?" Mario began, inching back a bit, "In that-a case, you go-a first. I don't-a wanna be the first-a one to meet them." Noticing Krystal's worry, Mario gave her a reassuring pat on the back. "Don't-a worry, I'm-a sure they're fine. They're just-a being quiet... For some-a reason... I hope..." Not quite sure if he should be believing his own words, Mario slowly began to build a fireball in his fist, just in case. |

Mega Man, meanwhile, was still looking around, eyes narrowed slightly, but unfortunately, not on Rush. Who wandered off, and started sniffing around. |

With a sigh, she nodded to Mario. "Your right, I'm sorry..." She finally calmed down thanks to the red plumber. But she brought out her staff in the case that something was off. The male fox looked to Mario and Krystal, but found someone was missing. "Hey, where is that dog? Rush was it?" He hoped he didn't trail off too far. |

Mega Man nodded, and looked around, his expression becoming concerned for the safety of his lost dog. Who was sniffing around behind a large stone structure, near a tree... right up until- "YIPE!" He was yanked up in a net in a rush (no pun intended) of motion, now trapped, and whining for his master. "RUSH!" The boy robot's voice took on an almost panicked tone as he ran for the source of the noise. |

All of the sudden, out of no where, as if they were waiting for something to be caught, a group of Lightfoot ran out of hiding and started to RUSH toward they're unsuspected catch.  One was more gutsy to talk to the canine. "HEY! You get out of village STEENKING tresspasser!" the Lightfoot poked and prodded Rush with a spear who was helplessly in the net. "Who you anyway? You look funny." The Lightfoot looked angry almost. |

Mario whirled around at the sudden commotion going on, and quickly spotted Rush getting picked on by... where those raptors? No matter. The plumber quickly got into a defensive position, the fireball he had been building up now glowing brightly in his hand. "Hey! Leave-a him alone!" Mario demanded, "Unless-a you want-a to become fossel fuels very quickly!" |

The two foxes ran over to Rush and the Lightfoot, Krystal was pleasantly surprised to find the dinosaur. "A Lightfoot, they are alright!" Fox stopped her from running to him. "Wait!" He came up slowly, trying to negotiate. "Wait, we're not trespassers. I'm Fox McCloud of Star Fox, we're here on a mission. Please let our friend down." He hoped the dinosaur would understand.

Mega Man, on the other hand, already had his Buster ready as he slid to a stop under Rush. "You ok, boy?" Rush just barked, then squirmed, trying to get out of the net. |
