Indeed a foul aura of danger spreads in Falco's spine, but it's not from the school of shadow creatures, sailing in the sky. For it is something more dire...more dreadful...more....doomish.
Anywho, if their ears opened to the silence, they would hear distant tired gasps of a woman. If they looked ahead, they would see a female figure running past, behind the rocks, as if she was fleeing for her life.

"Yeah, but I hope those black creatures are the only things that have appetite for our... Huh?" Slippy stopped short after his ears picked up something. Looking around with blaster at ready, he saw... something... moving behind some rocks. Not wanting to take any chances, Slippy pointed his blaster in that direction, hand on the trigger. "Hey! Who's there?"

Falco leveled his blaster in the direction of the noise, and blinked. Was that some woman over there? Here? Something was up. "HEY! Hold it!" Falco stood up on the nose of his fighter, trying to get a better look.

A group of the shadow creatures flew down behind the rocks where the Starfox team heard the sounds. And then comes the shrieking maiden cry. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" Suddenly, from above, three more shadow creatures swooped down for Falco and Slippy, with teeth chomping like piranhas. Course, they came a little too far from the two, so they're not close to them yet.

Seeing the shadow creatures desending on the ships, Slippy quickly opened fired on them, three rapid shots to each monster. (I am so not gonna roll for these) Simply put, the storm of lasers easily pierced through the flying monsters like paper before they vanished to ashes. However, two more swooped from above, continuing where their brothers left off, this time closing in on the frog with their teeth. The avian nodded, and made a dash after the screaming woman, his blaster at the ready. "Can't believe there's ANYONE else on this forsaken rock!"

[dice=6] [dice=6] Slippy dodged out of the way of the first shadow creature, but the second one proceeded to sink its teeth right into Slippy's left arm. "YEOW!" the frog yelled, shaking his arm wildly, "GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!" Suddenly, Slippy paused as a simple realization hit him. He calmly raised his left arm pointed his blaster right at the creature's forehead and pulled the trigger once. [dice=6] Yes, because Slippy can find a way to screw this up at point-blank range...[rand=412110708823996550389400713681133832391672264215879630078160789]

[dice=6] Indeed only Slippy can. The shadow monster took the hint of the gun at its face, and it flew off from Slippy, yelping like a dog. It, and the other flew off into the red sky, as if it feared the weapon. Falco would find himself running on a ledge with nothing but a rocky red wall on his lift, and a deadly deep pit on his right, where he can see the Hellish landscape, and all its glorious fire. Oh, and he can see the woman he's been chasing, as shadow monsters orbited around her like vultures. She seemed to be wearing a black business suit with a very short skirt. Her brown hair hid her face as it waved wildly from the wild motions she made, trying to pry her sleeve from the teeth of one of the monster's like they were wild dogs. Falco took in the situation, and acted quickly, as he always does, bringing up his blaster and firing once at each monster, relying on his Blaster's increased power to send the point to those things. [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6] Sadly for the bird, the creatures were two fast as they scattered away from the lasers. But at least the one that was mauling the woman's sleeve flew away from her... ...but that one, and another grew angry, as they hurtled down at Falco, waiting to sink their teeth in him. "... You've gotta be kidding." Falco couldn't believe that EVERY shot had missed its target... but oh well, it looked like two of them were headed right for him. ... And looked like they planned to EAT HIM. Great. [dice=6][dice=6] Falco jumped back, the first shadow getting a bite of the rock wall next to him, as he drew out his Reflector, and kicked it into the second creature, knocking it away. He then used his newfound time to fire at the Shadow with a face-full of wall. [dice=6][rand=2590939272351180443589679380455598708875206610961782582911889536]

[dice=6] It won't be getting a face full of wall, because one shot is enough to burn it to ashes. But that won't stop its other two brothers from attacking Falco with their teeth. [dice=6][dice=6][rand=32298810905446441784825130361861275146883948752343871848627520531]

Slippy was slightly dismayed by his (lack of) marksmanship at point-blank range (no wonder Falco kept picking on him), but was nonetheless happy that he managed to at least scare the two shadow creatures off. Turning around, he noticed that the bird seemed to be having a little trouble with his own band of shadow things, so he rushed over, blaster ready, to see if he could lend a hand.

[dice=6][dice=6] Falco dodged the first shadow, turning to shoot at it as the second latched onto his shoulder. "AUGH! GETOFF!" Falco immediately pulled his blaster, and aimed at the shadow's eyes... and fired. [dice=6][rand=4068456216368989779587928243659363266604039921606938263354108687]
