Monsteropolis: Gear Shift

That one name startled every cop in the area, even the ones dealing with Kazooie before running around the ships, away from the girls' view. "All units! Code W! Repeat! Code W!!!!"


"Great..." Roll had her bag close to her, prepared to use Mega Man's weapons if the situations calls for it. "Marina? Ready?"

The girl paused for a moment... and now looked nervous. "Uh....there's a problem. If I turn into this form after my robot form is damaged...I have to wait a while till it's repaired."

Roll gulped, now digging through her bag. "This is bad!"

Where was Sami during this conversation, why in the back of the car opening the trunk to get two of her favorite weapons. A military rifle, and a bazooka. She then got back in the drivers seat putting them on the side. "Its ok, Marina. Ill show him what happens when you mess with Orange Star!" She started the car and drove off to the explosion, then looked to Roll. "If you want, I could drop you and Marina off somewhere safe." She had a feeling she knew both of they're answers.

As for the other Orange Star commander, he was running on foot to the noise. "I wonder what this is all about..." The mechanic said to himself, curious as to who this "Bass" is.

As Andy ran towards the source of the explosions, a series of plasma blasts flew from behind a building, destroying a car.

And the source of the blasts, was having... well, a blast. He LOVED causing mayhem like this, it made him feel ALIVE. Who knows, maybe that stupid Blueberry would show up..

Of course, he was so lost in thought that he strode directly into the path of a running human. A certain Orange Star commander by the name of Andy.

WHAM!

And said human was knocked to the ground, Bass now LOOMING over them as he looked down. At his side, Treble growled at the organic that had ran into his master.

"... You remind me of somebody..."

"No time! Just do what you can against that loony! And be careful!" she said, climbing out of the vehicle.

Marina scooted over the seats, waiting for Roll to get off first. The young girl gave a pleasant smile, even in this time of danger. "And don't worry about me. I only sustained little damage. My robot form should be okay shortly!"

Poking out of the bag, Data shook his head. He wasn't convinced that 'shortly' will be enough before Bass cause so much pain, there won't be enough for Marina to save.

[Mage]

When Sami's two friends climbed out, she nodded at Marina. "Shortly, got it." The soldier kept driving to the problem.

As the mechanic ran into Bass with a large thud of an impact, he feel on his behind rubbing his head. "Ow..." Then he looked up at Bass. "...." Cue the stars for eyes. "Oh look at you?!" The mechanic exclaimed standing up and looking Bass over. "Your amazing! So advanced!" The mechanic took it apon himself to inspect Bass with holding his wrench. "Whoa!"

[Vize Viper]

Treble didn't like the look of that wrench, and voiced his opinion with a loud growl.

Bass, meanwhile, actually took a step back as he found his personal space violated by this stupid organic. "Back OFF, meatbag."

And yeah, he WAS advanced, he knew that, and didn't need this kid telling him. ... Why was he holding a wrench?

Grabbing Marina's wrist, Roll ran off down the street, away from the battle. "Come on, Marina!"

"Yup!" she muttered, still with a smile.

She couldn't understand how this girl could be so calm. Maybe because she's built for fighting; she's used to this. But Roll is just a Spotter; she's not used to this kind of action. It was always Rock out there while Roll watches him from afar. Now Rock is afar alright...back in her world. This was not in her league; she felt so helpless.

Rock...please help me.



But in the mind of Marina Liteyears,

My, this repairing process is slower than the CR chambers in the ship. Come on, hurry up!

But despite Bass's stepping back, Andy kept advancing trying to get closer. "Lets see, how do you work?"

"WAIT!" Screamed the red head soldier. "Andy, get away from him!"

"Eh?" The mechanic in red turned around to see Sami driving at the two with her car, she was going to ram Bass.

"Outta the way!" The soldier yelled while speeding up at Bass.

The mechanic quickly ran out of the way. "Whoa!"

Hearing a voice he recognized, the black android whirled, facing the oncoming car... and seeing that stupid military chick from earlier!

"Oh you have GOT to be kidding!" With a feral snarl, the android brought one fist up as the car hurtled towards him.

His dog, meanwhile, hunched down behind him, growling at the oncoming car.

"RAAAAAH!" And then his fist came down on the hood of the car, the force causing the vehicle to FLIP over him.

I hope your seatbelt was fastened, lady!

As the recon car flipped over Bass, Sami took her two weapons and jumped out just in time before the car smashed on the ground. The car skid across the ground making sparks fly until it stopped on the sidewalk. Sami took her rifle and aimed it at Bass. "I should have known it was you!" She fired blue beams of light at Bass.

The mechanic saw Bass attack his friend's car, attempting to hurt her badly. After that, he deemed Bass an official enemy. "Guess ill have to inspect something else." He growled, while brandishing his wrench. "Ill teach you not to mess with my buddies, jerk!"[rand=152353296320010053434000078962309379341418315804077161681775083725]

Bass just sidestepped one of the shots, the other two glancing off the edges of his armor as he gave an almost feral grin.

"You both wanna play? Fine. TREBLE!"

Understanding his master's unspokeen command, Treble lunged towards Sami, jaws wide.

And as for Bass himself, he opened fire on Andy.

She saw the dog coming a mile away, and managed to side step it. "This thing is fast..." She took her bazooka, and while she didn't have enough time to prepare and fire it, she swung the cold, hard piece of metal at the robot dog.

The boy thought he could reflect the shots off of his wrench like some ninja from an anime, but while he blocked one shot, he was hit by the other three. "Waa!" The mechanic feel on his behind. "Man, quite a blaster you got there....why does the model look familiar to me?" His memory brought him to a certain picture he saw on the Geshellshaft. But back to reality, Andy retaliated by rolling back on his feet while tossing a bouncing sphere at Bass. It was an ice grenade!

Treble made no attempt to get out of the way, instead, GRABBING the bazooka in his jaws! With a loud growl, the dog gave a tug on the weapon, trying to move back towards Bass.

Who simply blasted the ice grenade as it came towards him, that malicious grin still present. "You'll find I've got more than this Buster goin' for me."

Then, he suddenly left the ground, flying along it towards Andy like a black and gold rocket.

The soldier was shocked when Treble caught her favorite weapon in its jaws, and tried to fight back the pulling. "Gah, too strong..." So she tried to beat the dog off of her by striking at him with her free arm's punch.

When Andy got to his feet, he didn't have enough time to dodge Bass. "No!" He was suddenly hit hard by Bass's flight, but tried to stop it by striking his head with his trusty wrench.

Fun fact: Treble's head is armored, except for his muzzle. ... Unfortunately, Sami was not HITTING the robo-dog's muzzle. And metal hurts when you hit it.

With a sound that could have been a canine laugh, Treble let go, and lunged again.

Bass WAS struck by the wrench, and got knocked to the ground... right in front of Andy, who he attempted to hit with a spinning kick as he got back up.

Remember, this was the same android who just FLIPPED A CAR.
